I purchased the hulkbuster and ultron drones sets today. Hulkbuster, although is big, is pretty badass. Drones are great fodder, will get a second and 3rd set of these I think... -

I would suggest the mega blocks route personally. Those peices make things really solid in building. From a lego pure perspective... Nothing that I can think of will be as flat. They all have a slight raise to them on the edges.the only thing i can suggest would increase the thickness, is travis blocks layered sideways.

Have a look at lex luthor and the ultra agents fire dude (dont know the name) sets, you can see the armour with additonal parts. -

Yes, but that is not the design of the mechanism. The mechanism uses an H shape not an X. And as stated, one, single fan turns counterwise, not two, not two opposite, or two on the left. Just one. I would have to say the Javelin was my fave build, then the brainiac, then the black manta and finally the gorilla grodd... But it depends on how you develop your collections, the javelin and grodd sets are the minifig heavy hitters! I keep buying the green lantern sets for the bodies....
