First of all, I was a bit confused whether to post this topic on the Star Wars or Technic forum, but since it's about motorization, I thought I'd post it here. I own the set 10178 Motorized Walking AT-AT. It comes with Power Functions, featuring the ability to walk forward or moonwalk backwards. I already modded it to give it remote control, with the PF set. I would like to give it direction control, but since I don't understand much about Technic, I humbly ask you for your help. I've been given two sugestions already: motorize each leg individually, or somehow create a flexible joint in the belly. Any ideas on how to do it? What kind of parts would be involved in the task? Is that M motor enough? I don't have the set with me to take pictures of the engines, but here is a link to a review topic so you can have some clues from the pictures. I am also thinking of motorizing the 7675 - AT-TE, but that's another different project, first I would like to make this one come true. Thank you all, any suggestions will be appreciated!

If you want to get shocked, compare the prices in the finnish S@H with the portuguese... or for even better prices, check the Slovakian or USA... when I saw the price of the 10195 Dropship, I literally shouted voi vittu! it's almost 100€ more expensive than in Portugal, where it is already very expensive at 250€!

I will surely keep in touch, as I also hope to move definitively to Finland next year after I graduate! Also, Lego in Finland is so expensive

Terve, kiitos! I've been here for over two months and no sign of AFOLs, I was getting desperate to find some of my kind around here I talked with the 0937 Lego Embassador if he knew of some finnish LUG. He told me that there WAS one, but M.I.A. nowadays; and also a small LUG in Tallinn. Will there be any Lego events in the Helsinki area soon? One week from now I will be going up to Rovaniemi and then back to Portugal, I would really love to see what AFOLs do around here before I return.

I got this set recently, mostly for the vehicle and Cad Bane. I will be reviewing it soon, but I can start by saying how disappointed I am at Cad Bane. No back or leg printing whatsoever? Sure, he wears play clothes, but still... I think Lego could have done better, since this minifig was so expected. As for the speeder, it's great to have some more civilian vehicles. Those flick fires don't look so great, but with a simple mod we can just take them out and leave the front lights like they should be. They do work fine though. I complain about the stickers too, especially the wedges. And I noticed you have each back thruster differently on that sideways 2x3 plate Great review and great pictures

Diabo means devil in portuguese. People usually say "oh diaaabo!" when something goes bad, sort of "oh crap!" in english. When I was in highschool, I was the only guy wearing black, with piercings, listening to metal, so some classmates started calling me that. Even their mothers called me that sometimes

Yes :) I've seen you around there too. Thank you all for the warm welcome!

The ship looks lovely! May I suggest trying to add more detail on the sails, like the Jolly Roger symbol? I think it would be great, if you try it out, don't forget to take a picture and show us

One of my first sets as a kid, 6090 Royal Knight's Castle, features a very simple well using 4 of those curved bricks and a round 2x2 blue plate. You can use that as a base and then add more detailing.

Like I told you before, I especially like the towers and the guy in the box

Control Alt Deus If you are into EBM/electronic music, I surely recommend you this band.

Thanks, I will! Most of my reviews lack pictures, so I will try to get some before I post them here. As for MOCs, it will take a bit longer to build anything and post here, since right now my ABS is some thousands of kilometers away from me.

Not today, but last week: 7778 Midi-Scale MF 8128 Cad Bane's speeder 8259 Mini bulldozer Plus some Tusken Raiders minifigs from BL, since I haven't got any. I also got the 10195 AT-OT & Republic Dropship ordered for my birthday for a very nice price coming from BL, which I can't wait to get my hands on since I've been craving this set for over a year And after all these, I'll only be able to buy more stuff for Christmas.

I especially like the Virago, looks pretty nice when compared to the real ship -
Hi! My name is Guilherme, I'm portuguese and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently living in Helsinki, Finland, but going back to Portugal in a few weeks. Even though I never actually had a dark age, I only started buy Lego again last summer, when I also joined Comunidade 0937, the portuguese LUG. My favourite theme is, and as always been, Star Wars. I also like Castle, Pirates and Adventurers, but nowadays I try to focus only on Star Wars. I don't usually MOC much, but I enjoy landscaping and modding official Lego sets. I have some projects in mind which I will present you over the next months, just wait until then :) This summer, for the first time, I took part in an event, Arte em Peças, hosted by Comunidade 0937. I participated with some modules for the communal Star Wars Hoth display and with a smaller Clone Wars WIP I've been working on. I am also an active member of From Bricks To Bothams. I have a blog with some set reviews, MOC and other Lego-related stuff, but it has been abandoned for some months now. Hopefully I will start working on it once again soon enough. I'm an avid reader of the great set reviews hosted here at Eurobricks, which I have been watching for a while but only today I decided to sign up. As soon as I have some spare time, I will get pictures and publish my reviews here. Aside from Lego, I'm a student at a cooking school in Lisbon, currently finishing my traineeship in Finland. I can also be spotted in several punk, metal and folk concerts around the country, either working there or just having fun. Star Wars is my big passion, I'm a big fan of all movies and Clone Wars series. My other interests revolve around cats, dogs, computer games like Age of Empires, Diablo, Tomb Raider and most SW games, Nature, sleeping a lot, and of course, food. So that's it, feel free to ask anything! PS: I tried, in vain, to find a Finnish LUG. Any suomi AFOLs around here?
