Nice ideas! Malazan and Game of Thrones are both great books (and TV shows in GoT's case) with very interesting styles. If these were somehow incorporated into a castle line than my wallet would be empty! I'd like to have sets like that because they are similar to previous Castle waves but are able to differentiate themselves clearly. -
My grandmother (a quite religious person) enjoyed this moc, as did I. Very nice job!

Ah, if this happened it would be so nice! Great work on the project.

LEGO LotR - general discussion

I am quite happy about hearing about the conflict-free licensing for LotR. Not sure if I think more LotR/Hobbit is coming but if it does I'd be quite happy. -
I actually have NOT gotten the Helm's Deep yet for some odd reason but I'm going to pick up that alongside two Uruk Hai armies.

Building a castle around 10237 (Orthanc) Any idea?

You could probably work with something like this. Take a look at the outer ring from the Helm's Deep set, you could draw inspiration from that. It's all what works best for you! -

This is my suggestion for getting Helm's Deep. I am too going to get it and I found several stores on Amazon selling it for around $180 which is still a lot but I think it's better than other offers. As for the fortress you could also use several black and grey pieces. You could modify the Black Gate to fit your structure, too! -
Quite snazzy little builds you got there!

Oh, I just noticed the Uruk Hai helms used to make the Lannister soldiers. Nice, touch. Really captures there armor.

I would be a little disappointed if a CoH movie was made, to be honest. If it happens, well it happens, but I think it's better not to be on film. Just my opinion, though. -

Very true, Deathleech. But, I enjoy building MOCs from books because you can kind of let your imagination run wild with it. I also think CoH is just overshadowed by Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. -

Yeah, it's just wishful thinking. I could see some cool visions of scenes from the book like Morgoth's fortress, Hurin's throne, and Turin facing the dragon being great Lego builds, but I highly doubt it would happen. I'm working on a small little MOC of Melkor sentencing Hurin to his throne because I haven't seen one yet. -

Though this has a 1 in 1 billion chance of happening imagine a line of Lego Children of Hurin. -
MEC Category A: Mordor Army Siege
A Hobbit Fellow replied to Artanis I's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice set, it really captures the feeling of a larger Uruk Hai Army. I don't understand why TLG didn't make a Gondor vs Mordor army builder with one or so main characters. Great job! -

Nice little build and a great pier. It really captures the feeling of reading The Silmarillion again for me. I defiantly could see this being a small lego set that I would pick up.
