LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
scorchfire replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
what´s the source for the TIE out-lander tho? only been seeing it on IG thus far . Also, watch in awe as some spanish speaking groups are now taking the "gungan sub confirmed" comment from this thread as a legitimate leak haha, love the sarcasm but it is amusing how it can sometimes swoosh over languages. Also the TIE/O being an "extra" release has me a bit worried as those normally dont have exclusive molds and such... would be a shame if the dark saber is just a plain 4L black bar... again -

YES PLEASE the green marking siege battalion clone troopers would be a great addition. OH so the classic minifigs are more like an extra, gotcha -

AT-PT* ;) see... is that irrelevant. So, any other confirmations about the classic luke pilot minifig included in that set, is it going to be an ACTUAL re release piece by piece of the original X wing??? or is it going to be something else entirely, cause it cant be a new OT x wing, we just got that. this 20 anniversary sets are such a mystery -

NO CODY PHASE 2!!! arguably the most important and noticeable clone in the films and the only one with a name said onscreen at the time (not counting clone wars) and we still have none. but yeah, is the at ap even a popular walker??? would rather have a properly made At RT -
LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

well at least describe the jedi, were they generic, named, a bit of both??? what troop corp was it, plain phase 1, plain phase 2???? -
but we do have a hoth leia, and its pretty accurate save for the leg printing that could be the same as thoryn farr. what we dont actually have is the hoth leia sans the tan vest, you know, the full white jumpsuit leia that appears on the mynock's scene along blue jacket Han and messy hair chewie. Maybe those are the ones we´ll get? white jumpsuit leia is integral to a lot of scenes in ep5, it would be great to have her! maybe this iteration of Rey will finally have the dual molded arms she needs to be complete, flesh on top/tan as gloves (just like the latest poison ivy) then, Finn with leg printing i guess? or full black jumpsuit?
-
great news then!!! still sad about dimensions as many have said, it was a very reliable way to get licenses that we would have never gotten otherwise. Portal, A-team, M:I and little comebacks lke harry potter/beasts. guess only nintendo can, barely, keep afloat the toys to life sub-genre.

wait a minute..... so no Teen titans Go Raven fun pack or whatever????? damn, the team will be forever incomplete
-
mnnnn actually it should be about 19 cm (closer to 8 inches) since the ATST measures 8.6 meters on standby (as with every step it takes the legs extend a bit )as depicted in various source materials and the updated canon guides. minifig scale goes on about 47:1 http://tomalphin.com/2013/11/lego-challenge-19-calculating-minifig-scale.html so about 18,3 cm give or take 1 cm. i have not build mine yet but yeah from what i see it should be 3 studs shorter, but i think the problem is neither the size of the legs or head but the hips not being hinged in any of the LEGO models to date, there is a section that connects the "thighs" to the main hip section that always get overlooked, only certain MOCs seem to include it even. still is a great set and a great starting point for any modifications
-
shouldn't someone update the first post on this thread with the current set info we got? i still see the yoda´s hut as a possible set when we know its the starfighter and a lot of NAMEs placeholders...or ar we waiting for an official press release

It is over fellas just look at the Lego bionicle Facebook page announcement, it ended prematurely and there will be NO MORE SETS they have even been very open to answering specifically that question. No makuta set no mask polybag no nothing. The ship has sailed. I'm glad they stopped playing with bionicle's corpse for once

http://www.starwars.com/databank/kylo-ren-s-command-shuttle It is kylo ren's shuttle , so the Lego model doesn't match up
-
it is done then... THAT ship does not offer the opportunity to extend its wings into flight mode as the trailer suggested. dont know about you but in my eyes that is a big deal.

More or less, the system falcons are completely out of scale!!! the UCS on the other hand is built to minifig scale. Anyways, your point is valid

well... that's what i toughtt , but the old blue interceptor did featured Kit fisto and he was nowhere near the craft in the movies. same case with a lot of other sets. besides we have not had the crimson interceptor in a proper set since well never, the original was a store exclusive kinda rare boxed set combo. however i think we can all agree on the inclusion of commander cody p2
-
am i the only one that expects the new obi wan interceptor to be the crimson red one from the opening space battle over Couruscant?? everyone seems to look forward for the less featured blue one...either way i hope it comes with the loooooong awaited cody Phase 2 as an extra the battlefront battlepack most likely would be tattoine/jakku based , i mean we already got plenty of hoth the past 2 years, plus hoth attack in the same lineup. besides there seems to be more troop variants on the desert planets. those new red marked shock troopers for example

so.. the death star is dead... guess that throws away all those rumors about a version with updated mini-figs
-
Well in case you don't know, it's very well known that in Mexico near the area of the Lego factory, minifigs always leak and end up going to this flea markets...basically by illegal means, people already have armies of the Scooby-Doo zombie for example and more stuff that hasn't come out yet. You could go to the Facebook page legomania Mexico for more insight on the matter Check my post

Is Millenium Falcon 7965 still the one to get?
scorchfire replied to grevens's topic in LEGO Star Wars
never been a fan of that particular set, the mandibles are very inaccurate and the interior is lacking, BUT you say you are going to pay half the original retail price.... i say go for it, 70 bucks is a totally nice deal!! there is no rumors, we all know there is a new millennium falcon set around the corner, probably bigger with the leaked piece count and with updated techniques also new trilogy figs but a rumored price of 140$ -
yeah a very good example of this are the new metallic silver lightsaber hilts, although very durable, the metallic shine and sparkle does wear off, giving it a nasty look the pearl silver color like the one on the latest r2d2 and the silver ninja zane from ninjago is the most likely choice for phasma, also the most cost efficient.

well, here in Peru (latin america) cost of living is cheap, minimum wage is very low. And LEGO is 2.5 to 3 (not licensed/licensed sets) times the price in USD. i dont want to sound like a brat, but if you are living out of minimum wage, you should probably stay away from collecting LEGO products. Here in Peru, its considered a very high class toy/hobby (I.e 30 bucks for a battlepack, 600 for the slave 1). So when you even consider complaining about prices just remember my silly country :) back on topic, yeah a chromed captain phasma included in a set does not seem likely at all , as said before, kids buy this stuff , they are the primary target, and most kids play and will play rough with the figures. I dont know if most remember, but those light saber hilts, the chromed ones, peeled off quite easily from just regular play. Hell, i was very careful and managed to get most of the chrome intact for several months but still it wore off, the only 2 fully intact chrome hilts i got are still displayed on their blister, being the ones that were included with the darth vader/obi wan/chewbacca magnet set.

Current Gunship and AT-AT: are they worth it?
scorchfire replied to Werlu Ulcur's topic in LEGO Star Wars
the new gunship blows away its predecessors, as for the AT At... well it is a tad little and more "compact" i still think the motorized is the better one, but the one you have is the close second -
well now that i see some images from epsiode 1, his speeder is indeed very large and taller than him, however its narrow. i dont get why they could not make it 1 stud wide at the base, it should look better that way
