That's definitely a custom. LEGO wouldn't put that much detail onto a super hero that virtually no kids know about. Of course, I could be wrong. Time will tell

I would bet that there would actually be a CMF for Super Heroes. It's one of the most popular themes and I hope this is true. I agree, though, with the fact that we should see some new characters in the lineup. 8 Marvel, 8 DC, 4 Villains and 4 Heroes for each.

Definitely disappointed with this set. First of all, it looks like just a display model with absolutely zero playability, so that's a huge flaw right there. The whole thing is just too small to work. In my opinion, it was a bad idea from the start. Something of that size can't possibly be replicated in a way that gives the model justice. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for saying that, but it's my opinion. Secondly, I don't like the figure count. 5 figures (Only 2 are exclusive) for 350 buckaroos? That doesn't resonate well with me, especially since the Death Star had 24 figures and cost $400. I mean, I know it's a UCS set and all, but would it kill Lego to include at least different variations of the other 3 figs we got? Winter Soldier Widow and Cap, and a non-suited up Hawkeye? Or maybe just replace Hawkeye with Bruce Banner? I don't know, I just don't like that there are only 2 exclusive figures in this set. I know Captain America has a new Steve Rogers head and hair piece, but that head looks nothing like Chris Evans, and his aggressive facial expression looks like something we would have gotten in 2008. The one thing I do like, however, is the S.H.I.E.L.D. Display base. That looks perfect in my eyes! Sorry for rambling, but I thoughtI should say how I feel about this set. Final verdict: Skipping out on this one entirely. Had no plans to buy it in the past, have no plans now. Sorry. Edit: Regarding the new game, and I really hate to be all negative, but I'm legitimately worried. Last time around, the game was just flat out called Marvel Superheroes. But now it's Avengers. Does this mean we're only getting characters from the Avengers and no open world? Seems a bit smaller than the previous game for me. Although obviously I can't criticize it based on a poster and a title, lol. I'm definitely going to have to see if my concerns are true or false, though.

According to just2good, they only showed non licensed sets. So, that means no Super Hero sets or anything like that, unfortunately.

Loved the trailer, super pumped up for the film. Although, I'm a bit sad we're not getting any traces of FF sets, seeing as last year we got a set based on DOFP. Well, sort of. But it would be amazing if there were two sets next year, one with a lab and one with Galactus, which would be huge, and....I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I?

OHHHH. Haha. I agree, it is a very cool set. Might be just a tad too big to keep it the way it is, though. They would have to make it a little smaller in order to mass produce it, IMO.

In some cases he literally swings off of thin air But the ATV (or Trike, whatever) is good for fast on-land pursuit when for some reason Spidey can't swing out of midair lol. And I guess the Copter is a lot faster and has more artillery than when Spidey just swings, so it makes some sense. So pretty much I completely agree.

I doubt they'd do Suicide Squad after the Squad DLC. Probably just some comic based sets.

It's funny that you thought I was serious. I meant I would be Bricklinking both sets if they turned out as bad as the prelims, so maybe you're the one who needs to calm down and stop beating me up. After all, this is a forum for discussing sets and not trying to bully others every chance you get.

Yes, we are adults. And we have a right to be upset. We all said that we would wait until official pictures, but the PRELIMS suck. Not the real sets. We're just stating that the ground idea for the sets...sucks.

Anyone know that awkward and depressing moment when you realize you sacrificed a bunch of minifig parts to create a purist custom of a character you think will never show up officially in retail and then...it does? That was me when I found out Starfire would be a figure. Just found the purist I made....needless to say, I'm sad now.

Thor looks ok, but his arms are way too dark. I like the old Thor better, when the old capes were still around... (hint hint, Lego).

Where'd you find the horn on the mech? Couldn't spot it for the life of me. In my opinion, the mech looks like a drone. It's MUCH too small to even pose a believable threat for someone like Miles Morales, much less Iron Spider and Miles COMBINED. That's literally it! And what's up with Sandman? Where's the Sand Hand we heard about? Why did people like the mech so much but here it absolutely sucks? Hopefully official pics will look better....but for now, everything is a pass for me. Brick linking both sets. Coming off the excellent winter wave for both DC and Marvel, these sets are way below way below mediocre. That's how bad I think they are. Disappointed is an understatement. I'm just hoping the figures are worth it at all....really couldn't contain voicing my detest in these sets. :thumbdown:

Hate to break it to you, but that's nothing new. We've seen that way before now, and if TLG hasn't started from then to now, I highly doubt they'll bother.

I'm pretty sure Ivy will only get a lime green vine piece like last time and that will be all, considering TLG's neglect towards the Super Heroes line, at least in terms of accessories.

That Cheetah is perfect for a Cheetah purist. And the pigtails is indeed a tease at N52 Harley, since the S13 Goblin hinted at classic Goblin, and we're getting him, so...yeah.

How will Rhino work as a minifigure? The mech idea sounds awful...really wish TLG just made him a bigfig and stuck to the comics...(sigh).

Sorry, I don't know what any of that means. I don't make MOCs, I only get the sets, so I'm not familiar with the names of most pieces. Mainly I have not the slightest idea of what 4L means.

Seriously? That remark is incredibly childish. We're all waiting just as long as you are, and we all feel the same way. We'll get pictures soon enough, but for now, suck it up and wait.
