Whether they're comic based or movie based i hope we get some sets, with at least all those characters.( i really want a scene of a bunch of guards chasing after the squad but falling over because slipknot's tied their shoes together that would be beautiful.)

is anyone else confused by the lack of the number 11 on the picture?

So when making this game lego has to do it assuming some people are going to be playing with just the starter pack which means one must be able to complete the entire story mode with just those three characters. but if they do it like that (and we're assuming they are) then would story mode only take place in lotr, dc, and the lego movie? because whats the point of having them go to ninjago if the player has no characters related to ninjago? i want them to have more than three worlds but someone had no simpsons characters are they going to want to go to springfield? and if they did, what would they do? the game talks of our three heroes going to different dimensions to save their friends but if the only way to play as their friends is to buy them, then what exactly are we saving? so the biggest question that comes from all of this is, does this mean there will be characters you can play as without the physical minifigures? maybe for example you go to ninjago and save jay, so you can play as him, but lego does what smash brothers did with amiibos and make it so if you want to upgrade (upgrades might be a cool addition) him then you have to buy the character and its like that for maybe a quarter of the playable characters. i doubt this is what's going to happen, i'm just trying to make sense of how this is going to work

This game has the potential to be really good as long as it learns from the skylanders games mistakes. like one of the biggest problems with skylanders was the lack of open world hub so you'd spend forever buying packs and getting as many characters as possible- then you'd beat the game and have nothing to with them. yes the characters are seemingly detachable so you can just use them as figs but i really dont want to spend over 200 bucks on this game and end up having nothing to do on it. so if the open world hubs are big enough and the story mode is long enough I'll be happy. plus if what the creators said about having the game pad lasting so that if a sequel comes out you don't have to buy another starter pack you can just continue to expand yours, then that will be awesome! . Themes that need to be there: scooby doo jurrasic park simpsons minecraft (maybe?) and doctor who (TT is a british company and were constantly making DW references in the other games, so if they're at the helm of this one then that raises the chances exponentially )

I feel like disney being at the helm of tron definitely increases the chances of sets seeing as lego and them are on pretty good terms. (plus i really hope that this movie will compel them to bring back Uprising )

Something tells me that black widow won't be making an appearance in the sets or the movie. because my theory is ***SPOILERS*** kinda Joss whedon said that one of the avengers may die black Widow is (unfortunately) a smaller character so that raises her chances of being the one to go it seems we get to see a lot of her back story, maybe they're trying to get as much of her in as possible before they end her her line "nothing lasts forever" foreshadowing? hulk and her are infatuated and something happens to drive him insane and attack everyone, like the death of someone he loves? scarlet witch uses mind control on her making her extremely vulnerable just a theory though, a theory backed by ALOT of facts -
right, anyways the summer wave looks nice but the sets dont do much for me. the ninja suits arent great but i think they'd look a lot better without the shoulder pads. piece wise they're great i just think they make the ninja too bulky. i will say though that the morro dragon looks awesome! i love the detail and the figs. definitely will be getting that one for sure. hope that they make some more sets with skylor in them i loved her design

she's a cool looking character i hope we can get her in a set and/or see her in the show. tired of jay/cole/nya love triangle . also which book are you referring to? im not really up to date with them wait never mind i got it

Does anyone know who Seliel is? because i keep seeing her everywhere and i cant figure out if shes a real character or not. and i haven't seen her in the episodes so if anyone knows please share.

i think dc has way too many gorilla villains . one was enough

and that's what concerns me the most because we finally got beastboy who really is a one time only figure but the only animal he comes with is a snake. making him, playability wise, almost completely useless since i dont believe he ever even turned into a snake in any of the the shows. and since theres very little chance of him coming in another set theres nothin we can do about it (because i am NOT painting my grodd fig) the ONLY hope i could see is if they released a kind of "part 2" set for jokerland later with more rides characters because it could come with just a green gorilla so u could add the sets which ive talked about before. but again very unlikely since those who didnt buy the jokerland set would only have a green gorilla

it'd be pretty cool if we got another set this winter that was a kind of "part two" to the joker land with a couple more rides and the other titans (raven, terra and/or maybe a teen titans version of cyborg). this way we can get those spinning teacups with the hatter/etc and it would make sense because its not like the villains would only capture half the titans right . its pretty farfetched to get a second set that was based on the same set but i think it would be cool. we get the villains we want. the raven we want. and the new rides. (another piece of the set could be hall of mirrors/mirror master.) ican dream

I looked through a list of every scooby doo monster that has EVER been portrayed and the best i could find was the sea demon from "The New Scooby Doo Mysteries" (introduced in 1984) episode 3 titled "Scoo-Be or not Scoo-Be?" so as a recap what we have so far is: Mystery Machine- Food: sandwich. Newspaper: Daily Babbler. Treasure: unknown. Monster/s: Zombie and Tree monster. Heroes: Shag Scoob Fred. Vehicle: Mystery Machine Haunted Mansion- Food: Hot Dog. Newspaper: Map. Treasure: Keys. Monster/s: Ghost, Black Knight, Plant Monster, Vampire. Heroes: Shag Scoob Velma Daphne Vehicle: Motorcycle and sidecar Lighthouse- Food: Bone. Newspaper: looks kinda like a letter. Treasure: Chest. Monster/s: swamp monster, lighthouse keeper. Heroes: Shag Scooby daphne. Vehicle: speedboat headless horseman- Food: unknown. Newspaper: same as others. Treasure: goblet. Monster/s: headlesshorseman. heroes: Shaggy Scooby Vehicle: Biplane I love how lego's following this pattern, these sets are awesome

I just noticed that the vampire is standing up against a wall on what appears to be a rotating circular platform which means the wall probably spins to hide the vampire. but it is also right below the clock with a technic piece that spins sooo my guess is when u spin the hand on the clock it spins the wall revealing the vampire! nice play feature I also just noticed that the base of Shaggy's motorbike is a dark chrome rather than the usual black. is this the first time we've gotten the piece in that colour?

So if the vampire's cape is the new material, which I'm assuming it is, and its dual coloured does that mean it'll be EXTRA thick? I don't own any capes with two colours so I don't know if they're usually thicker but I wonder how a cape with two colours will turn out with the new material.

he has the same printing but i noticed on mine that the lightning bolt on his chest is slightly shaded compared to the other, it is very slightly more detailed but that may just be mine thats like that. though i think i noticed it being more shaded in someone's review too, but its barely noticeable

this is true, when i got the gorilla grodd set and put on batman's cape it looked... less than good, but when i switched it so the right flap was over the left it looked WAY better. i think these capes are pretty good and though they are kinda scarf-like, in the end to me they're worth it. though i live in canada i was able to find the sets on the 26th, in a fairly crappy lego store too. they didnt have the green lantern or brainiac sets but they had the others. i picked up the grodd set and have been very happy with its result. this weekend im going to try and find the darkseid and green lantern sets, ill probably get manta on bricklink like everyone else

does anyone have a link to amazon or something that has at least the darkseid set for sale? i dont mind if it wont ship until Jan 1st or whatever i just want to try and "seal the deal" asap. though im not sure if there even is a site like this at least maybe not for canada. but if you do know of one could you please post it
