Yep! Still waiting for my batman set, taking ages! I've had other stuff come through which was ordered later. Ordered FF set from ebay and that came today in less than 2 weeks. It's not an exact science sadly.

I'm trying, but I can't get excited by this set, fancy beard on Gandalf and Aragorn's Shield aside, the fact that 2 out of the 8 boxes are horses is just.. well.. meh. LOTR stuff has been out for years, I would have had Legolas, but I already paid the premium for him years ago. No Gimli either!

Haha yeah I do that too - watch out for my Man At Arms custom and Iron Man Hulkbuster going on soon!

Hmm that sucks, my seller shipped on the 13th - or at least said they did.... fingers crossed Yeah Brickipedia looks way off for that info, I went with blue with purple hips. As I didn't want to create yet another order I have bought Colossus's hair in gold! Sigh. Lucky I have some paints now...!

I've started ordering bits and pieces to upgrade my new Supes set that's incoming - just had a panic - what colour are Bizarro's legs? Are they straight blue? They look blue on this video, but looks sort of purpley blue on some of the videos, any advice gratefully received! Hmm, I think its a trick of the light - it is blue isn't it - I can't see anyother colours near it on Bricklink, even though Brickipedia reckon its Sand Blue (nope!!)

I'm home and my FF set hasn't arrived. Gutted!

Ah yeah, shiny is no good, cheers for the offer though, if the FF set comes through quickly you can probably clean up on ebay, prices have gone up - I got the set for 4.60, no sign of anything anywhere near that now, its 5.97 on Aliexpress now too. If MOC Colossus looks rubbish, I'll probably sacrifice SS for Cyborg and using other arm for Winter Soldier is an excellent suggestion

I am for Cyborg - I've acquired the flat silver peg leg, and I am looking for flat silver arm (though at the cost of the figure to get said arm, I may as well order another FF set and flog the rest) so £2.50 for one arm, may be a little too steep - is it dull chrome or shiny? Does MOC Colossus look ridiculous? I'm dying to know!

Silver Surfer's head, arms and legs on Pryo's torso and hips... would be very grateful, I am weighing up an order and can't decide if I should go ahead Cheers The best Rogue in my opinion is the purist one, Narcissa Malfoy's hair, any female face, wrestlers legs and the Endor Commando's jacket with Dark tan arms & yellow hands added - WIN!

Any one that has received the new FF set, I don't suppose it comes with a spare right Silver Surfer arm does it? **grasps at straws** Have ordered the Superman Set, but its blooming hard tracking down the parts needed for Cyborg I had seen that one - it really is superb, but the cost is high $35 PLUS shipping - in addition I have been stung by customs recently, so didn't really want to add another £12 to the cost - the face is spot on though, the face I've done is inspired by that one, but well.. just a tad more aggressive I suppose! They do sell the heads, but again $10 shipping! I have said before we are spoilt by the prices, but sometimes you have to be realistic - its only a small piece of plastic! Having said that I did buy OnlineSailing's amazing Nightwing for £25. I sweated over that for weeks, but I absolutely love it. Hopefully its arrived by the time I get home from work and I'll stick up some pics - I might change the legs eventually, as Penzore seem to always make legs either too basic or overly fussy (look at Colossus's legs - awful) or indeed make them look like they have massive nappies on. Sigh. But, overall its pretty good for sub £10 - and there will be a Gambit printed head for sale too!

I would have loved them to make a Gambit figure, there are some great customs out there, but they are either ridiculously expensive or there is something about them I hate! I was holding out hope for a bootleg, but I've caved and bought Penzore's version. I despise the head but I have a solution (for some reason they've done a clone wars style face which doesn't match anything!?) I've used Man of Steel Superman's alt face and created a mask around the face - it's almost perfect and added a better coat and arms, plus a staff and card deck - I'll stick a pic up later tonight. The only thing is it cost 8 GBP! I can get loads of bootlegs for that - think we have been spoiled a bit! Though I noted last night that prices have doubled on eBay, still cheap but the days of picking 6 figs up for less than 3 quid may be over I've also noticed that Colossus might be doable out of that new FF set, haven't got mine yet, so haven't tried, but with the right hair piece, combining silver surfer with Pryo will get you a pretty decent "purist" version

The 8cm figs have arrived (way before my ZEA Batman which is slightly annoying!) Pics to follow, build is not as solid as the minifigs, print is a mixed bag, legs aren't as stiff as I would like - but overall I kind of like them. And... there is a piece missing!! argh Found it! Phew. This is probably a better way of viewing the figs than me taking pics (though if anyone wants some detail I am happy to assist) The hands, head, arms, hair/helmet are all removable and posable. The body includes the hips and the legs can pull off. The missing bit I thought was missing was one of the side panels for the legs, you have to assemble all of them. The print quality was fairly good on most, but Spidey's white eyes aren't great. Wolverine comes with some cool flat silver claws and Cap comes with a shield. Nice - where did you get Pepper's body from? I've ordered a set a few weeks back, so hopefully they'll be here soon - I got the non torch versions, looked kinda cool What a difference replacing the legs makes! Been looking at the set, but was massively put off by the legs - great idea for Cyborg's leg too Did the hips need replacing too or where you able to add the legs?

25 bucks?? That's incredible value, no idea if I can do that in the UK, but I may have a new challenge... I was looking at that earlier - it's looks awful, no redeeming features at all apart from maybe Antman's helmet. And even that doesn't look great. Gives bootleggers a bad name haha.

I've heard a lot about this "thin base coat" but haven't worked it out, I've just got hold of the kids Acrylic paints and painted the ears, then painted the hair! Fortunately, I didn't make any mistakes (this time!) Do you paint the whole thing first with this base coat?

That's not a bad effort, I've always been terrified of painting, but started last night converting the werewolf's hairpiece into black with blue ears for Nightcrawler - I really enjoyed it, might go back and paint my custom Orko now...

Mine didn't, I didn't even know you might have got that, I bought it for Magneto & Wolverine (both pretty good I thought), Magneto oddly isn't available in any of the other sets, I also saw that some time ago that Two Face had been available - oddly no sign anywhere now, and there's a figure that attracts a premium price (I ended up buying the magnet and melting the glue)

Not a surprise when you consider how big a hit the movie was (and only just come out in the far east) - these figures have come out really fast considering. They are still dirt cheap though! I mean I know we are getting used to paying £2.50-3.00 for 6 figs, but £5-6 for 6figs ain't too bad considering 4 of the selection would cost you £10-£15 each on ebay for the real deal. I'm very happy with the price, though I am sure it will come down over time. Whats upcoming now? There used to be a cheat sheet, haven't heard anything about it at all, the new FF was a surprise, and as Digger pointed out, Pyro's head looks like DareDevil so maybe he's in the pipeline. I'd like to see the Collector and SDCC Rocket.

Not good - I would recommend you buy Kreons, they happily sit on Lego Bricks and look pretty good, I have replaced my entire childhood G1 Collection with their Kreon counterparts! Are you insane! Everything is so cheap you'll end uyp buying everything, I am running out of things to buy and I seem to have money left over!

I think they've done a great job on Venom, but he won't fit in my minifig frames. bah. Already ordered, received Hulk and Thing, only to resell them! I have had some success with The Sentinel, Groot and my modified Metalbeard in a frame though - must get round to putting the rest of the pics on my Flickr. 94 slots for minifigs in 6 frames, constantly fighting to stay as more new shiny figures are released!
