Hmm just sitting in Costa with my lad before doing the family shop. Just occurred to me I could have bought 6-8 figures with the money I just paid for the drinks. I might be getting slightly obsessed

I get why they are doing one - there is a market, but looking at all the pics for all the upcoming figures, it's kind of a shame that there isn't really anything new that hasn't already been done aside from another version of Punisher and Manhunter

According to Digger this morning, it looks like SY will be doing a GOTC set too - which is a shame as I already bought two Decool ones! I wonder if a version of Groot will be included?

Incidentally I am selling an almost Penzore one - includes coat, head, torso and correctly matching arms (Penzore version comes with black arms and a brown coat..!) legs are plain black and there is currently no hair. It's going up on eBay next week

I bought the bohzi helicopter set, the figures are decent, the helicopter was hard to put together as the bricks are quite tight, was a brilliant way to get my hands on the original magneto and the wolverine was good too. I moved deadpool and the helicopter on, but still have the other 2 in my display. This was long before I knew about lele, sy, decool et al. This site has been a massive education!

Any ideas on the Mystery Figure? Take Borex's point though - would be nice to see new and different stuff - that set with the Punisher etc was very good

I do - they have just arrived, He does indeed have printed arms. He has back printing on his back and head too - looks pretty good - will take a look at the rest and report back shortly That was pretty fast - still waiting for ZEA Batman - that was ordered a good while ago now. bah! Though (still trying to get to grips with the Aliexpress website) its seems that the tracking info shows that GOTC went from the Outward Office of Exchange on the 17th and arrived here on the 24th - ZEA did that on the 21st, so I've got at least another week. Weird... EDIT - GOTC Review Still got same leg connectors, but overall they've done a great job, printing is superb - Drax in particular - its ever so slightly less sharp in places, but I am not complaining. Probably the worst is Starlord, he's not particularly bad, but the mask isn't quite right, looks like he's got sad eyes! Some of the print has spilled into his hair too. The rest - brilliant, just also realised that Nebula has a pearl Silver arm which delighted me until I realised that Cyborg needs the left one. Darn. Accessorieswise, apart from those with swords. daggers and hand pistols (all very good) - Ronan and Rocket seem to have the wrong bricks, you'll get by, but they are clearly the wrong ones (a swap of a brick will fix Ronan though)

Ahh, back to business! Defo be picking up a Storm, and possibly a Hathwoman. I still think the original Magneto was the best one though

Must be due to the fact there is seemingly no new news on anything! Booo! The tedious competition to be the bestest Lego Superfan is very tiring, yes we all support Lego, yes Bootlegs are available and a lot of them are very very good, giving us collectors more options - whats not to like? Lego has the power to do something, they chose not to. Funnily enough, one of my auctions on ebay was removed yesterday, seemingly on the request of a Legal Company representing Lego. What was it? Was it one of my customs? Perhaps some clearly marked spare Bootlegs? Nope. It was a shoebox full of mixed bricks, Kreo, Megabloks and some random rubbish, on for a bargain price of £6 shipped - in which I mentioned you could use them with your lego. A quick glance at ebay showed that the bootleg minifig auctions were all still up and healthy. Priorities eh! EDIT Hmm interesting... I see large rafts of Custom Figures sold in the UK have been removed. Very interesting indeed - don't use the word Lego it seems!

Thanks, it's an Ikea RIBBA frame, which I've painted and glued the wedges on, I've done quite a few - all on Flickr - perfect for a grown up minifig collection!

The Big Thing is so cool, I've decided I have to keep him (was going to sell on due to my dislike of any figure that won't fit in my frames). So... I got my hacksaw out... Avert your eyes if you are sensitve, but I think you will agree the end result is worth it! More explanation on Flickr (see sig) - now obsession completed, to bed! P.S if anyone can explain how to link direct to Flickr images it would save me a lot of hassle in future!

I've been selling to break even or make a few quid, market is mostly swamped but there are still a few figs that aren't yet being sold on these shores so I might raise my price a bit on the remains of the FF set. Love the thing but he won't fit in my frames. Have considered cutting his back off though! Haha Prices definitely not as cheap as they were - sadly

Go on!! Loads I bet, just been combing ebay, there are no bargains on these sets now. Hang on - £15!!?? Gah! Right! It's time to strike! And use my UK location to my advantage!
