TOA TAHU, TOA COPAC WITH HIS ALIEN LEGS, TOA LOOHWA, TOA GALI, TOA ONUA, AND TOA POHATU LEAP INTO BATTLE AGAINST THE FEARSOME SKULL SPIDERS..KRATA..THINGS ON A QUEST FOR THE GOLDEN MASK. HOWEVER, THE PROTECTORS OF THE MASKS ARE OUT TO STOP THEM! THEY ALL WANT TO CHALLENGE THE MIGHTY LORD OF THE SKULL KRATA SPIDERS, WHO IS OUT TO GET THE MASKS!

I really hope we see another underwater era, like 2007. Of course, I'm not hoping for Barraki or Mahri (though that would be cool, it's extremely unlikely).. I'd just like some underwater themed sets.

I never really thought the red pins, or any pins for that matter, threw off the color scheme too much..

Does anyone else think that when the winter wave is released, there will be some form of game or media that reveals what might be the summer wave? Hero factory did it.. Also, on the exoforce russian site leak, they said something about "the tubes that these heroes come in", which could mean canisters. Of course, it's unlikely, since that was a very broken translation and there's no reason why they should get rid of bags (except for the fact that canisters had playability, but lego doesn't care much for box playability anymore)

I agree with everything you said here, except the part about the glatorian heads being a downgrade because of transparency. While I'm not saying this is not a con, because it definitely is, you make it sound like these were the first sets to do this, which they weren't. Some of the 08 matoran had transparent orange heads as well.

I'd love to see what the CCBS can do for Rahi. HF just wasted its potential on humanoids. Dragon Bolt and some of the IFB stuff was a nice break, but even several beasts and mechs were still humanoid.

I don't think HF had a comic-con 2010 presence. Not sure, though. As for torso macguffins, I agree.

Indeed. This is a very unfortunate time for the old community. There's been a lot of fights going around as of late, so if we want to keep the community alive, we'll need a new batch of minds.

I'm just going to throw this out here and say that "new" bionicle fans will be shunned by some of the more elitist old fans. You know it. I know it.

Personally, I think the Defenders/Protectors will be neutral. As for Mask Packs, I'm not sure. On a side note, does anyone think Pohatu's mask looks like a Hordika mask?

That is probably a placeholder. I'd assume they're just reusing the background for now and focusing on Tahu himself.

Does anyone think the Skull Spiders may have a jumping ability rather like the IFB jumpers? They're made of a different build, of course, so it's unlikely. (Also, first post. Been following this thread for a while though.)
