Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion
Vector Prime replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I find it astounding that M2Films went from the final episodes of Chima (which had incredibly high quality and detailed animation, even more so than recent episodes of Ninjago) to this overwhelmingly simplistic stuff. I can only guess they had a significantly smaller budget than with Chima to explain the huge loss of quality here. Storywise it should be interesting to see what the actual episodes are like. As with Chima, it appears that someone else is writing the mini-movies while John Derevlany (who also wrote all of Chima) is writing the episodes. The Chima mini-movies were certainly a mixed bag as while some shed more light onto the minor characters and explained some of the shows plot holes, most either were completely pointless or conflicted with the show's canon. Though all these Nexo powers are starting to make all of Laval's "For Chima!"s sound significantly less cheesy. -

If I had to guess, since they're on the run and all that it refers to them being locked up in KRYPTarium Prison.- 4,591 replies

Meanwhile Cartoon Network has been kind enough to provide an episode list of season six. 55. Infamous 56. Public Enemy Number One 57. Enkrypted 58. Misfortune Rising 59. On a Wish and a Prayer 60. My Dinner with Nadakhan 61. Wishmasters 62. The Last Resort 63. Operation Land Ho! 64. The Way Back- 4,591 replies

Lego Ninjago 2016

Well the Hageman's hinted that the reason Clouse made it out was he carved a hole in his cage (as he was seen doing in Ep 54) and then presumably escaped before The Preeminent sank. Whereas Garmadon was still bound in his "unbreakable" chains. -

Well that certainly explains Jay looking at his future self in Ep 52 and wearing an eyepatch. -

Well now we know what the Overlord meant when he said "rule this world and beyond", (can't remember if that was in season 2 or rebooted?).- 4,591 replies

Well Jay's comment about Lloyd's puberty is in the US version of Episode 45. I guess they pulled it from the Australian version?- 4,591 replies

Is it a stretch to say that the shoulder pads are what keep you from being possessed? After all, they look more like rock than anything else on the suit, and the Ninja didn't have them on at all during Ep 45.- 4,591 replies

Latest chapter of the "explore section was released. The most interesting part is the section of Dareth. However, this bit on Karlof also raises some questions So the Ninja weren't the first ones in space? Though for some reason they claim it is Samukai's head on Clouse's table even though it looks nothing like him.- 4,591 replies

I'm at a loss as to why the Hagemans felt the need to depower the ninja again. Even if they had their elemental abilities, would they really fare any better against Morro's wind?- 4,591 replies

Hmm, the US Cartoon Network is airing Ep 45 on Monday and Ep 46 on Tuesday. Their schedule is only two weeks out, but I'm wondering if they're doing another "Week of Premiers" like they did with the last five episodes of season 4?- 4,591 replies

Interestingly, the Italian episodes actually have the credits of the English voice actors which actually reveals Andrew Francis is playing Morro while Brian Dobson (who voiced Zugu) is Ronin. With three episodes in, I guess they are going the Lavertus route with Garmadon and saving his return for later (or better yet, another season). I am surprised though that none of the Elemental Masters have even had a cameo yet. They went to all the trouble introducing them into the last season, you'd think at least would stop by at the tea shop for a visit.- 4,591 replies

Where did the name "Zukin" ever come from concerning the hooded suits anyway? All official sources I know of (the Tournament app and Shadow of Ronin) referred to them as "Jungle".

Well the 2013 vehicles were built using stuff on the Dark Island, everything in 2014 was made by Borg Industries, the Roto Jet was made out of noodle factory parts, Chen's forces created the Electro Mech (though why none of the cultists used one is anyone's guess), and the D.B. Express was made sometime during season 1/2 in case the Bounty was ever out of commission (pay no attention to episodes 14-17 and Season 3).- 4,591 replies

Oh hey it's the electro-mech. Nice of the Ninja to bother actually keeping one of their old vehicles around instead of letting it rot at some far away place.- 4,591 replies

Where did you get the names of the ghosts? Have descriptions for these sets come out yet? I find it rather surprising that they would name a ghost Cyrus given that Cyrus Borg is already a well known character.

Given that he has his titanium face in both summer variations, I wouldn't get my hopes up. If I recall correctly, one of the main reason he's now titanium was so it was easier for newcomers to the series to grasp that he is a robot.- 4,591 replies
