Spanish treasure Galleon Corredor del tesoro
Nosaj replied to plokoon 4 life!'s topic in Pirate MOCs
I have got to admit, at first I was very sceptical of your ship, but now it is becoming a beauty. As many have already said, you may want to change the colors. I wish that my stupid computer would let me acces the file i need to on my C drive so i could get Universe mode on LDD Keep the updates coming -
Yeah, it doesnt need to much more, just a little bit to show it as more of an imperial fort rather than looking piratey. I really do like it, and the water supply is awesome.
-
The old ones give such a more piratey feel than the boring new pictures that show no action of the minifigs... all they have now is either boring pictures with a white background or ugly computer generated ones were they still show nothing happening between the minifigures...

Thanks... yeah, looking at the buttons, you are entirely correct. I tried to keep it fairly simple, but i guess the plain white in the may be a little to simple thanks for the feedback

Hey, I actually played around on MS Paint a little, and made a similar decal that may be a little bit more of what you were going for... I changed it a good deal, but it still has some of the main details of yours... well, here it is... feel free to use it if you want, as I probably wont I made your coat lines curved, added a collar, and moved the buttons... it looks okay i think, good for my first decal anyway

That is looking really nice... I love the use of the hinges to make it open... I do have two suggestions though, if i may. Perhaps add a little grass area around the outside(just like 6-8 studs in front wold give it a nice look), and maybe incorporate some Imperial colors into it, as they seem hard to be found in this outpost.

That looks amazing... i like the idea of using the things as ivory, i may have to "borrow" that idea from you... I can wait to see how to make the concertina... try to make that soon as possible!!!

Wow, 25 bucks for Forbidden Island, new in box... i just ordered one from bricklink for $40 complete with instructions, but no box... Oh well, i couldnt have gotten it from ebay anyway, i dont use paypal...

Yeah, Mvelic would be a person to ask. He is fairly new to classic-pirates (as am i), but his ship building is clearly superb enough to mke him look like an old veteran here... As far as i have seen from his ships, they seem very simple design wise, but look so complex it is rediculous...

it looks okay, and its always nice to have the classic bluecoat decals. I dont really use decals, but who knows, maybe i will
-
Very nice. I would get a few, especially the pistol, but I am trying to keep my MOCs and armies and what not strictly to lego only(except a little custom rigging and sails of course )
-
Beautifly done again. i love the immense detail, especially th three cannon ball types. You may just want a little more color, the black seems lacking. Im bad with names, but i have two that pretty much need to be built upon and fixed a little... scavenger or tides terror...

I am hoping to post my treasure, which isnt all that much after the cursed redcoats plundered a good amount of my pirate-accumulated wealth, but soon Mr. Bricklink order should be paying me a long overdue visit not to mention it seems my camera has been misplaced...
-
They are definently not worth it... just another cheap imitaton like the dreaded... mega blocks... well im going to rinse my mouth now, have fun...
-
Looking good Z... you are probably one of my favorite MOC-ers... I personally am not a fam of putting the flat plate pieces on the deck, although it gives a nice look, I just prefer the classic LEGO look

Poll: Which LEGO Sharks would you like to see in future Pirate Sets?
Nosaj replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
i definently want a mixture... i would like the look of the classic shark, but with the ability to swallow an entire minifig, as it is a very neat aspect the greatly adds to the playability. The classic shark would also benefit from being slightly larger; about the size of the lego alligator, maybe a little larger -
Nice collection. Whats your favorite classic set? You should get the loot island set, i bought it for the castaway minifig aswell.. it is very pleasing. you should also comsider soldiers fort. My only classic set(i dont have it yet, i ordered it yetsterday) is Forbidden Island. Maybe i will get more someday. I have all the "new" sets besides shipwreck hideout(the next set i hope to get), BBB... i also dont have the 2010 Imperial Flaghip...

Spanish treasure Galleon Corredor del tesoro
Nosaj replied to plokoon 4 life!'s topic in Pirate MOCs
it is slightly difficult for me to decipher exactly what is going on here, but it looks nice.. should be really nice when it is done -
oh i see.. and although he was average height, i still like to picture him as an agry little short guy on a donkey
-
I like it... but if you want napolean to be one of the guys, you need the short legs... and where are the croissants?
-
hey, i was just thinking and for some reason and idea for this boat came into my mind... if you want to get a little more floor space you should build some kind of rig to hols one of the crates in the air... like suspend it from a mast somehow, and posiibly use one of the cargo nest and there is two less crates of deck space right there
-
WOW!!! i have read all 27 episodes out so far just today... i must say, these are very good dreamweb... there is some stuff that i probably wouldnt added, but maybe im just not as creative i am looking forward to getting back to the crew of the valour!
-
Hey, i am starting a new MOC ship, and i am just curious anglezoo, you wouldntmind if i "borrowed" your sail design, would you?
-
looks great... you dont need hull pieces or sails to make a sip though, just use the same concepts you did on LDD... or if you need to, you can order hull pieces from bricklink.com
