  1. Sigh. Praising mediocrity, it’s a shame. Nothing personal but the standards have fallen.
  2. If LEGO wanted to be creative, Darth Maul’s Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighter would work! Darth Maul, Rook Kast, Maul’s Apprentice
  3. I would suspect most haven’t yet seen the photos, and are going off of the figures. This - would be odd that a Turbo Tank was rumoured for two different sets. My guess is the turbo tank wheels have been seen by those in the know.
  4. It’s a big IF, but what if Jango will have the headset face print in the system-scale set this summer… Would make business sense, giving the UCS set owners an incentive to buy the smaller version. After all, the minifigures are surprisingly bad, especially the Boba, which is also rumoured to be an improvement in the smaller version (which makes zero sense, mind).
  5. Love the Eta, great work!! Could add an Anaxes Trooper, instead… Good ideas too, albeit optimistic on the figures! Would never argue with 5 figures. I would love a Naboo Starfighter vs Vulture Droid.
  6. I quite like the K2S0, but can appreciate the head is not ideal. But given the C3-PO it was always going to be this way. Stun Tank is a super super exciting rumour, but don’t buy it given the price. Atleast the large wheel pieces for a Turbo Tank is logical.
  7. Fair point! Again, fair! Kylo’s Shuttle should have been January, and then a playscale set replacing that slot for May. I love the idea of a strong May wave, though. All the sets here are meaty, which is exciting.
  8. It may come next year, it wouldn’t be the first time sets based off of Disney+ shows are staggered. The Mandalorian S3 and Ahsoka are perfect examples. There’s hope!
  9. I do appreciate Lego’s larger May wave this year. Actually makes the May 4th promotion that little bit more exciting. In my opinion, there are some really good sets released (Chopper, Kylo Ren helmet, and UCS Jango’s Slave One the best), I just wish one or two were play sets with strong minifigures. Let’s hope the summer wave can deliver on that front. The Kamino GWP is a brilliant choice, and certainly does decently attempt filling some of the void of playscale sets and minifigures. But it makes me want it more! UT-AT rumour is a real shame, and I didn’t expect a Turbo Tank given the downscaled version in 2016. I always felt if Lego were to release it again in the modern Clone Wars era it would be specialised in some way. That could still be the case. Rumours are a couple of Galactic Marines, which puts the Minifigure lineup at 4 figures only. I’d expect another Marine, and maybe some Battle Droids, but who knows! Finally, a hot rod Snowspeeder sounds fantastic! Let’s hope we get some nice flame detailing and maybe the main figures are new variants, which will make the set super appealing!
  10. Not in the Clone Wars, but it does exist. To be honest, it would be a very nostalgic set with Aurra Sing.
  11. Where do we see Lego Star Wars 18+ going next? Do we think they keep releasing helmets? How many mid-scale ships are there left to do? There’s few Buildable droids/characters left.
  12. That’s grim, I do hope it exists. Can’t imagine what else it could be…the Magma Tri Droid won’t be big enough.
  13. Where did you get this from, may I ask? If true, sounds decent! Prefer the Escape Pod, though.

  15. Thanks man, forgot that my Battle Pack was meant to have Commando Droid (x2). Love your ideas, especially the Wolfpack set and the Venator. I think we may get OT stuff again next year, so maybe the year after. It works well similar to Bly and his legion this summer. Granted, your Wolfpack idea…would have another $10 added on! I will come up with some early predictions for 2026 soon.
  16. Very adequately put. CoS Yes Yes DH would be interesting, but likely PS. D2C Battle of Hogwarts, GWP Vanishing Cabinet, Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom (POA), Buildable Cornish Pixie Quidditch Pitch, Umbridge, Hospital Wing (HBP) Robes Yes
  17. Thanks man, they’re actually realistic too and would sell so well. The Anaxes Troopers are my favourite legion of all time, I just can’t see it happening! My predictions for the next batch of Clone Wars sets over the next few years below - enjoy! Wolfpack Troopers Battle Pack £34.99 - Swamp Speeder vs Flipknot Speeder: Phase II Wolfpack Troopers (x4) 91st Mobile Corps Troopers Battle Pack £17.99 - Barc Speeder: Barc Trooper, 91st Mobile Corps Troopers (x3) Republic Attack Shuttle - TCW - Plo Koon (TCW Armour), Commander Wolffe, Phase II Wolfpack Clone Pilot Republic Gunship - Yoda, Clone Pilot, Mace Windu, Ki-adi Mundi, Clone Commander, Clone Trooper (x2)
  18. I will repeat the following ideas for Minifigures packs/battle packs. TK StormTroopers & Imperial Commandos Phase II Wolfpack Clone Troopers Phase II 91st Reconnaissance Corps Troopers 501st Elite Clone Troopers (ARF, Airbourne) Geonosis Clone Troopers (ARF, Flametrooper) Separatists Specialists (Sniper Droideka, Tactical Droid, Commando Droid)
  19. The set is a weird choice isn’t it! Don’t get me wrong, I will buy one because it taps into the nostalgia, but people won’t want to buy multiples of this set, and in some instances they won’t be drawn to this set at all. Granted, I cannot critique a set that’s completely new, is from The Clone Wars, and has 3 figures. I just can’t quite understand why 2025 is the year of Jango Fett. It is not like TBOBF has recently released.
  20. Landino is as reliable as you can get.
  21. Helmets Realistic OT: Imperial Royal Guard Snowtrooper Death Trooper PT: Anakin's Podracer Helmet Phase I Clone Pilot (AOTC) General Grievous ST: First Order Stormtrooper Captain Phasma Poe's X-Wing Pilot Helmet First Order Tie Pilot Pretorian Guard Disney+: The Armourer Sabine Wren Bo Katan Moff Gideon's Helmet Opportunistic OT: Imperial Gunner Shoretrooper PT: Senate Commando (TPM, TCW) Shock Trooper ST: Sith Trooper First Order Flametrooper First Order Snwotrooper Dinsey+: Captain Enoch TK Stormtrooper Imperial Commando (Bad Batch) Mandalorian Super Commando Unlikely OT: Imperial Jumptrooper Range Trooper Purge Trooper Cloud Car Pilot Imperial Assault Tank Commander Mimban Stormtrooper PT: Palpatine's Shuttle Pilot ST: Sith Sovereign Protector Lando 'the hermit' First Order Jumptrooper Zorii Bliss First Order Executioner Stormtrooper Disney+: The Stranger Fennec Shand Juggernaut Pilot
  22. So, it seems the rumours are true. 75433 is a play-scale Jango’s Slave One. 707 pieces, $70 certainly suggests a better version than Boba’s latest one from the Mandalorian S2. I have seen some suggest this move will see LEGO is “Cannibalising” their own UCS sales and then will be used against UCS Prequels sets. I think this is a logical assumption to make. Obviously, given the time between the previous release of Jango’s Slave One there is an appetite for all things Jango, Slave One, Attack of the Clones. Naturally, if the UCS existed on its own, fans are more likely to channel their fervour into purchasing the UCS set. But with a playscale version over a quarter the price, fans could well decide the playscale set meets their demand. I do think these suggestions are borne from fear. After all, in a UCS context LEGO handled the Gunship poorly. More broadly, Prequels fans are frustrated at the quality of sets being released - inaccuracies, downsizes, minifigure quality, all whilst prices are increasing. We know the drill and arguably this is happening across the board but it feels more prominent given the proliferation of Prequel sets in this decade. However, I actually think it will increase UCS sales. That is because the playscale set won’t satisfy some teenagers and most AFOLs given its predicted size vs the sheer scale and detail of the UCS set. Even if Jango and Boba are exactly the same versions in the UCS set, fans will want the Kaminoan. Moreover, I think fans will take the opportunity to display both sets next to each other. Hence, I think fans will channel their love for Jango into both the playscale and the UCS set. Furthermore, this will give fans with a lesser budget, a great opportunity to enjoy this iconic ship - a prequel set, too. Combine that with the helmet - you’ve got yourself a Jango Fett collection. I have no idea for the rationale of this collection, but I am not complaining one bit. It’s refreshing.
  23. Must be a mistake somewhere here, however much I want it to be true.
  24. I think Lego haven’t gone all out for the MTT figures, which is a shame and is becoming a common theme. Add a Tactical Droid and it becomes 9.5/10, minimum, on paper. Obviously, in practice Aayla’s eyes and Bly’s clone design will have obvious shortcomings.
