  1. To be fair, given the basic design of Otto Preminger's suit, the figure doesn't really require leg printing. However, dual molding to represent his boots would, at best, be more suitable.
  2. Although I don't personally own that set, and wasn't really paying attention to it in the shops, I can say the batcave box is not AS big as the GBHQ box. But it comes close.
  3. Also picked up the set today, the box is very massive! Can't wait to put it together later tonight.
  4. Dang, that's unfortunate. I had called my store in Easton and they said the Cave was going to be available tomorrow morning, though they didn't really specify if it was exclusive to VIP's, or if anyone could waltz in and pick one up. Nevertheless, I'm going to try to put one on hold tomorrow so I can pick it up in the afternoon.
  5. ^This. Not only that but given the amount of fan service Lego has given us this wave with the wide variety of characters (especially the lesser known ones) as well as the Captain Stacy figure in the other set, I think it's more probable Lego is going to give us the famous 90's Scarlet Spider. As well as Spider-Gwen.
  6. I'm hoping that the hood they said came with Ben Riley was mistaken for Spider-Girl's hood. Giving more of an indication that it's actually Gwen included. Besides, I don't recall Riley putting on his hood on that often in the comics...
  7. Why complain? I'd rather have her than say, Robin. After all, more variety of characters is always a bonus.
  8. I highly doubt that. There's going to be another Civil War set coming after the films debut, surely there must be some reason that Lego wouldn't put the set out alongside the other three I just don't think Marvel wants to spoil / reveal the character as of now. But, even if the deal is still yet to be complete, perhaps by June is roughly around the time where he'll be allowed to be in merchandise (I.E: The fourth Civil War set).
  9. Why can't they just spread out X-Men characters throughout the regular Marvel Superheroes sets? I know they don't have that much to do with Avengers Assemble, but still. We don't need every Assemble set to come with Iron Man and Captain America Lego!
  10. That's the general color of the cave in the show, so in all fairness, the set is accurate. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this set. The show has always been a personal favorite of mine, and I think the set does a fantastic job of capturing the feel and likeness of it. The only real major gripe I have (as many others do) is the price. But, the novelty of having a set based on the classic show, makes me more than willing to pay for it.
  11. Looks wayyyy better than the model we got in the Ideas line Awesome work!
  12. I hope it's Luke. If not that, a chrome Captain Phasma would be great too!
  13. Oh really? I was unaware of that, thanks for the correction. I just figured the whole 'snow' setting of Hoth would make it be released around the time of Fall.
  14. That doesn't necessarily mean the Death Star has to be Rogue One themed, per say. The Rogue One sets and Death Star could possibly be released at around the same time, just for a sort of connection. Really interesting point though. But I'm not entirely sure. The Hoth UCS coming at that time, would make just a tad bit more sense. EDIT: My mistake, I was unaware of the Hoth set coming out in May. So the Death Star coming out at around the time of Fall is quite a possibility.
  15. The one glaring issue I have with the batcave is the Wayne-manor side on the back. It shows the entire back of Wayne manor which makes no sense. The design pretty much says, Wayne Manor was completely the batcave, and the attic was where the actual interior of Wayne Manor is. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but just a complaint by me. Other than that, I'll be the odd-man out who actually really wants this set. There's a lot of playability to be had with it. Three vehicles (which are near perfect), nearly the main cast (besides Batgirl which is IMO a little lame and a huge missed opportunity. Especially with her passing.) and a big open space to pose some figs around. Definitely, not the best D2C, but I don't think it's as bad set. Although, I just hope it's $170-$250, but if it is $270, I'll still bite the bullet.
  16. That and based on how the entirety of this wave is pure Spider-Man, I have no doubt at this point Spidey's also going to be included in that Civil War set. If not, oh well. We're still (well hopefully) going to get a wide variety of characters. Personally, a Japanese Spider-Man (in the Bridge duel) with his giant mech would make my day
  17. It'd be kinda cool if the Scarecrow figure (or set) is some what based off of Arkham Knight. Similar to how the Mr. Freeze and Robin mini figs had a similar resemblance to their Arkham City counterpart. But, nevertheless, hope we get some fun builds and characters to justify those prices.
  18. Speaking from personal experience, I was unable to get the very sets when I was younger. The most substantial set would have been around $25. Now, I don't know how many kids today are able to get the really large sets; but most of the time they're purchasing the smaller sets. Rarely do I ever see a kid getting a relatively large set, such as the Transporter, or Kylo's shuttle. Maybe it's different in your area, but Lego is certainly not a cheap hobby. No matter one's financial state. Of course, the whole complaints are merely wishful thinking that won't come into fruition, but we can certainly dream.
  19. Maybe they made two versions as one was to make the build sturdier. As I bought the set when it initially came out, I can say that it was not a very sturdy build. When something fell off, everything was bound to fall off too. Don't know if it was improved it though.
  20. I think that would be a great fig, if that's what he's going to look like in the film. Plus, it'd be a nice change from the traditional Spidey figures we've gotten (excluding Miles Morales and Iron Spider).
  21. There's another Civil War set coming after the film is released. Some speculate that, Spider-Man will be included so they don't have to worry about spoiling his design.
  22. I noticed that the constraction figures have the gear function like the 2015 Bionicle sets. I guess to add more play value, but it looks rather garish.
  23. Not really, he's the main hero. We know he's going to be fine in the end.
  24. I agree, Flash has a really diverse rogue gallery. So it's really lame that we're getting yet another repeat. Honestly, Zoom would make perfect sense as to why Flash would need a car in this set. After all, he broke the Flash's spine
  25. Yeah. But it would be nice to get some boot molding for them.
