If the goblin's anything like the old Fanasty Era orcs, I'm buying at least twenty. -

Are we getting a goblin or an imp? If it's a goblin, I'm super excited. If it's an imp, meh. -

MEC Category A: 79019 Bilbo's 111th Birthday

Thank you, Kenspace! Had I not been aiming for the $10-$15 price range, I would have definitely made this bigger and with more minifgures. -

Thank you, Uspez! That really was a bad decision on their part. I understand having Boromir in only one set, because there's only one Boromir. But, come on, there's nine Ringwraiths and you chose to only include them in one set. Really guys? Though, I am thankful we even got them at all. Thanks, Captain Braunsfeld! LEGO really should have made this scene. It would have been so good for collecting all nine Ringwraiths. -

Thank you, N8ster2! I tried to limit the number of minifigures so that this would be a more realistic set. -
Thanks, N8ster2! You should read the book, it's one of my all-time favorites, and much better than the films. I would have made it bigger, but the contest has a 16x16 size limit.

Truely awesome, Uspez! I would totally buy this if it were real. Great job and good luck in the contest!

MEC Category C: The Battle of Five Armies
Sir Gareth replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Neat entry, TinyPiesRUs! The build itself reminds me a lot of my BotFA moc (third pic in my sig,) but the shadowy minifigures are a very original and creative take on this. Way to really think outside the box! -
Man, that's so orcist. Haters gonna hate. Just kidding, Graham, nice little build. I like how you built the water.

Thanks, Alfadas! Thanks! :) I'm glad everyone likes the catapult. Originally, I built it as a joke, but then I realized how well it actually works with the scene. -

Wonderful build, Graham! This is one of my favorite scenes and I love how beautifully you recaptured it in bricks. The tree looks right out of the film.- 5 replies

Beautiful build, Emma! I absolutely love your Treebeard design, it's very well executed. I also like how you built Fimbrethil and the ways in which her structure contrasts that of Treebeard. Excellent job and best of luck!

Sweet build, Infernum! That Balrog is awesome! It looks very posable and fun to play with. Nice use of all those trans pieces and the Tauntaun horns. I also like the changes made to Boromir, the gloves look a lot better than just bare hands.
