  1. Except when that, "main villain," goes for over $20 on BrickLink and is a classic Legion of Doom character. An Arkam video-game variant would actually be a huge turn-off for me.
  2. Questions for those that have seen the sets: Is Spider-Girl definitely the version from Ultimate Spider-Man? Is Green Goblin a rehash of the one from the Juniors set, or does he now have dual-molded legs? Is Scorpion indeed comic-based? How is his tail built? Are any of the Spider-Man minifigures updated? Are Hobgoblin and Ghost Rider comic-based? Is Doc-Ock a rehash of the one from 2014? Is Vulture certainly comic-based?
  3. Questions for those that have seen the sets: Is Scarecrow a rehash of the version from Arkham Asylum Breakout? Is Killer Moth classic comic-based? Is there another villain in the Scarecrow set?
  4. I believe it was. It definitely wasn't the Brick Alliance, as I would know...
  5. Um, I don't remember posting a list of rumored minifigures on my account You may be confusing the Brick Alliance with another Instagram account, possibly Delta Customs.
  6. Well, that's disappointing... I'm not sure how I feel about these sets now.
  7. Is anyone here currently at the London Toy Fair? It seems to have already started.
  8. "Characters'," could simply be referring to Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc...
  9. Killer Croc is definitely a big-fig, and he will be similar, but not identical, to his LEGO Batman 3 counterpart.
  10. He's most likely counting Deadshot.
  11. If you know something, you might as well just tell us now since we'll find out anyway this weekend.
  12. Could you please elaborate upon the DC and Marvel sets (not here in the Ninjago thread though, over in the Licensed forum)? It'd be highly appreciated.
  13. What's the possibility that the dual-molded Spider-Man legs will have been removed? I need an additional two pairs, and there's none on Bricklink
  14. All quite true, but in both of your examples, the updated artwork played significance, as it reflected new designs, whether it was the film characters themselves or the actual minifigures. So, my question is, why did LEGO invest in new logos for both the previously labeled Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man set lines, especially considering both shows are still on the air and perfectly suitable logos are already available? It's just something to keep in mind.
  15. ^This. I don't know anything about the villain beyond that. Also, note that the logo on the Symbiote polybag is just Spider-Man, and not Ultimate Spider-Man... Is LEGO broadening the context of the Spider-Man sets in order to allow the insertion of more non-cartoon-based characters and designs, like the inclusion of both the Gemini and Hammerhead armors in this January's Avengers wave?
  16. Were these preliminary images the same as the ones from last week?
  17. Looking at the comic in my hand, it's clearly a poorly colored Iron Skull, along with a Hydra Goon.
  18. Ah, I see now. I was rather confused since he dons the classic suit in both the Superior Spider-Man and recent Spider-Verse comic series. Thanks for the clarification! I hadn't seen that new (and particularly awful ) suit before.
  19. No, Spidey's torso should always be red printed on blue, and not the other way around, due to the sides of his torso: If anything is changed, it should be the blue color from regular to dark blue.
  20. What's the difference between the "new" and original costumes? They look nearly identical to me. If LEGO doesn't produce a proper web-foil for him, I'd use the short web-patterned cape from the Series 14 Spider Lady; Not perfect, but it's better than nothing... In my opinion, Spidey ought to at least have red and blue dual-molded arms, if not printed webbing. He'll most likely be dark blue, as why would LEGO produce an entirely new color for just one character?
  21. Maybe? http://www.btha.co.uk/toy-fair/register-here-vm/
