DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions

Deathstroke is amazing, he looks perfect IMO, the builds look better, and the Teen Titans Go inspired Beast Boy, Starfire, and Robin (a nice surprise) are fantastic, too bad Harley looks terrible though. Something tells me we'll be seeing Teen Titans Go inspired Raven later this year (but I'm way too obsessed with Raven, so keep that in mind). -

The reason for collecting the rocks and the backwards physics and logic are actually sort of explained in the movie, but the rest I'd have to agree with (except maybe the Wonder Woman part - I didn't pay any attention to her to know whether or not she was that bad (I guess my brain naturally blocks out stupidity )). -

Last year we didn't get the Keaton suit in every set, only two of the five sets with Batman in them had the Keaton suit (the others were Batman Begins, Scuba, and Beware the Batman). The year before that, we only got one Keaton suit out of the three Batmans we got (the other two were arctic and TDKR) and the year before that we got three Keaton suits out of the five Batmans we got (the other two being the blue and grey version). If anything, I think this theme has given us better variety in Batman variants than the previous theme did. In the old theme, we got four different variants in three years whereas we got seven variants in the same time for the current theme, and just got two more this year (unless you count the new52 suit with the scuba head, which would make it three). -

I don't think Lego has ever specifically said which Robin is which, but you definitely have the names matching the character that each Robin design was based after. I guess each Robin is whichever one you want it to be (but it makes more sense having them the way you said). Yeah, and the one in LB1 is Tim Drake, unless I'm mistaken, when he looks much more like Dick Grayson or Jason Todd. Go figure. -

We'll also get to see Starfire and Robin; sure it's probably Tim Drake Robin, but we can still pretend anyway. Now if only Beast Boy had someone too, Raven would have been perfect (Yep, I'm still not letting that go and DON'T EVEN SAY BEAST BOY CAN HAVE POISON IVY ). I can't think of any reason why the finals figures wouldn't be there (watch, I just jinxed us ). -

Yeah, Grodd is sooo different from his physical counterpart, I was surprised. Yes, that Deathstroke was spectacular (well besides the head, I hate how the printing doesn't go all the way around and I prefer a orange and black mask to the orange and blue) but he has way more printing than we're likely to get. No way we'll get printed arms and sides; maybe we'd get the printed legs, I guess we'll just have to wait another five days to find out (hopefully Lego actually allows pictures this time). -

No, but we should definitely get pictures of the sets which are assumedly USM based. -

Yeah, there's no Avengers Assemble sets coming; all the Avenger's sets will be based directly on AoU. -

I would totally love to have Deathstroke with a mask printed on a normal head; however, Lego would not do it all the way around leaving us with either a black or dark blue head with two orange squares in the front and back or a orange head with two black or dark blue squares in the front and back. The helmet would give us an accurate, although oversized (though the one in LB3 is not too oversized), mask. Now, what I would personally do if I was Lego is have the face be printed orange with an eye all the way on the face's right so when the head is put on it could just be turned so that almost the whole left side would be orange. -

The product description actually says Gotham, though Central City would have made a lot more sense to me. Edit: Here's the description: "Gorilla Grodd is causing havoc in Gotham City as he seeks his morning banana fix! The gigantic gorilla is leaping on the truck, sending crates of bananas flying and almost breaking the vehicle in half. Hurry to save the terrified driver with Batman™ and his awesome Bat-Mech. Launch a triple LEGO® Super Heroes counter-attack by firing the net and stud shooters. Face off against mighty Gorilla Grodd with The Flash, evading the evil beast’s grabbing fists and Captain Cold and his Devastating Ice Shooter. Swoop unseen into battle with Wonder Woman in her Invisible Jet with spring-loaded missiles, then send Batman™ leaping off the top of the Mech with the Super Jumper to bring down Gorilla Grodd! Includes 5 minifigures with assorted weapons and accessories: The Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman™, Captain Cold and truck driver, plus a Gorilla Grodd figure." Yes, TDKR2012 mentioned that in the post I was replying to. -

The characters designs in that movie don't match their physical counterparts; several of them don't even look a thing like their physical counterparts. I wouldn't assume anything about the final minifigure designs based on that movie. You actually have a valid point here; really hoping this set is the exception to that, but it doesn't look likely . -

I think he was talking buildings. The Manta Sub, GL, Lex Luthor, and Brainaic sets were all set outside of Gotham. -

Yeah, I don't understand why everyone would speak so highly of it if it doesn't look better than the prelims make it. The Flash discussion arose because Flash is awesome and something about Jokerland? I'm just guessing here. Classic Zoom looks much more terrifying than the new 52 one IMO and definitely makes more sense to me (the yellow suit just screams "I'm obsessed with being the reverse of The Flash"). The Flash made me like Reverse Flash and Captain Cold. -

LOL, just for comparison: | Number of sets | Number of Villains | Number of variants | Number of vehicles | Total number of appearances | Batman | 19 | 11 | 16 | 16 | 22 | Spider-Man | 9 | 9 | 4 | 5 | 12 | Iron Man | 9 | 2 | 9 | 1 | 11 | And he didn't even have to use the Super Jumpers . -

I'm just hoping Jokerland looks better in person than it does in the prelims; given how highly spoken of it was by the London Toy fair attendees makes me think there's a good reason to hope it is The new 52 version is just terrible (just like most of the new 52 designs ) so I'd hope they'd go classic (with boots and red pupils). (Personally, I think a $20 set with Flash, Reverse Flash, and Batman w/ a Batcycle, because we haven't had one since 2012, would be the route Lego would go if we ever get him). -

The ideal Flash Museum to me would include the Flash, Iris West or Linda Park, and the Rogues (Captain Cold, Heatwave, Diggle Harkness Captain Boomerang, Weather Wizard, Jesse James Trickster, and Mirror Master). The Flash Museum is definitely third on my list of playsets I want for this theme, right after the Hall of Doom and Titans Tower.
