  1. I received my package from the mail 2 days ago and with it are the awesome Star Wars figs. Thanks again, Copmike and Eurobricks!
  2. Thanks again to CopMike and Eurobricks! Oh, and for other new members who joined only this year (like I did last year), just in case you don't receive your prizes quickly, worry not, for they will still come nonetheless. I received my previous prize March of this year, so it might take that long (or longer even) for some of you guys. Still, just remember: "The best figs in life are free!" MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!
  3. I just don't like the legs being off-color for the scout troopers: I wish they were the same shade of green as the torso. The camo pattern is also too blotchy, IMO. I still would have to get these and see them for real.
  4. Thanks for the review! I told myself once that if the Death Star trooper becomes a minifigure, I might finally put my army building days to rest... Good thing I bought a lot of those smaller SW pistols before...But I do like the possibilities on the new ones. I'm still searching for a better rendition of the big guns, though.
  5. Hi! Would anyone of you guys happen to have this part outside the polybags? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30373 Thanks in advance!

  8. Has anybody revisited ACPin's MOC of the same theme? If you're not a fan of SW, or do not like this more than awesome set, and you happen to be a LoTR fan, imagine this with a a few tweaks and, voila: Lothlorien!
  9. Using 3D printers to end world hunger...or organ replacements that save lives?...I agree, most definitely! So, for the LEGO part, I think the utility of these things would mainly be for small parts/minifig accessories, as mentioned already. I don't think you're gonna spend money on a 3D printer just to build yourself a standard brick. It would be easier and cheaper (and therefore more logical) to buy clone brands. Also, as was said earlier, I think it would be hard to come up with the same shades of color as they do with all of the bricks that LEGO produces. However, whether the formula for the colors can be kept a secret (the way Coke keeps its secret formula) is another matter. Will TLG try to circumvent this by producing specific colors for particular sets and never using that same hue again? That would be quite a headache, especially for future MOCers. Can you imagine yourself building a ship that has different shades of grey? Finally, I wouldn't know if every Tom, Dick, and Harry will have the talent, or needless to say the ability, to come up with the right designs for such things, unless it comes with a program or someone else has done it before you did. So I think, in the end, it will only profit a small number of people. Which makes me wish I was a big time capitalist with a lot of money to invest...
  10. I don't fig the theme, but I like the ship so much!
  11. I just received mine yesterday! I thought it was gonna get stuck at our local customs! ALL HAIL THE QUEEN AND HER MINIONS! LOL! Thank you, Eurobricks and CopMike!
  12. Thanks again, CopMike! I shall have a royal reception for the queen!
  13. I take it that this is also the entry thread?
  14. Let's consider this as a test in delayed gratification.
  15. The bird vehicles in this theme are the ones that are desirable for me so far.
  16. Not a fan of the ship, though the rear end is quite nice, and I am liking the pilot. The first time I saw something so busy yet everything seems to blend well. P.S.funny things happen when I try to write bad-a_ _.
  17. Thanks for the review! I guess the amount of positioning for the walker's legs would be similar to the one with the Brickmaster book, so the posability would be that it only stands, then for another pose, you move the whole leg back a few clicks to make it look like it's walking. I wish it were better given all the details placed in this build.
  18. Congratulations to everyone who won. I no longer need to buy the whole Gungan sub set just to get Amidala. Thanks again, Cop Mike and EB. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
  19. I hope TLG doesn't turn down the exosuit of Mr. Reid just becasue it's currently making mechas in their Creator line.
  20. The figures do look nice. I might get just one set. I could never really identify myself with the theme, but the minifig collector in me is tugging some strings.
  21. Nice Review! The first time I saw this, I was thinking more of the parts. But that, indeed, is a wicked walker.
  22. My Gosh! I actually won! I really feel like a kid right now! Thanks to CopMikle, Eurobricks, and everyone else who made this possible. A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! WOOOHOOO! ...and I don't have permission to use personal messaging...Help ?!?
  23. I hope this will be considered, another version of the rocking horse: (edited again) Merry Christmas to all!
  24. Does anyone know what the round brick with the ridges is used for?
