    ^ It's marketing for lego. Also there is effort made by the project creators aswell. The winning doctor who project did have a particualr idea made. fyi the minecraft situation is a special one.

    Well, they are doing a comic series with these 3 doctors. Testament to their relevance, and continued bbc support. Also, 10 and 11 are alone by themselve. and 12 got clara.

    yeah sails work too. generaly msot non minifigure uses of capes are ok. Lego has started changing fabric. Shame that the new facbric they use in superheroes theme is awful, thick and ugly. The capes used on Elsa, Galadriel and Vitruvius use a great fabric though!

    I dislike legos use of cloth pieces other than the capes.

    Dont underestimate the amount of pieces in that batmobile.

    9 and 10 + Rose 11 and 12 + Clara Would be good. 6 Figures might be abit much, but that way you cover all 4 new-who doctors aswell as companions for them.

    The special china minifigure methods are rare in normal set minifigures. Arm printing and side leg printing. And now 2 color arms and legs.

    Theres the dalek space ships you see quite often. theres bessie? the doctors car. When we comapre it to minecraft it might not be in the sense of the full range of playsets. But more.. small sets as excuses for the doctor minifigures. Like the minecraft microbuilds. Novelty type sets.

    Nope smith was the last one, due to the regen hand of 10. did you not watch the most recent regen? he was given a new set of regenerations. Capaldi is the first of the new ones.

    Come on now. The war doctor is NOT numbered. And yes the image is 12th doctor. Thats not supposed to be a secret.

    Well It sounded liek the one set gets a larger release than previous ideas sets. So they very well will use it as a test for popularity. Sortof like they did with simpsons.

    The fact that the selected IDEA used the NEW/CURRENT tardis, might have been part of why that was selected. on top of being a very good presentation.

    ^K-9 can be just a fun extra, I certainly wouldnt base minifigure choises around him.
