Well I mean the figures from the new movie. Which is always harder that legacy films.

An important character like Grindlewald being this wrong, I worry for the rest of the figures.

Terrible hair choice on grindelwald. Superman hair or that ninjago hair would be better. And whatsername looks no good all bald like that, and no printed skirt. Thestral looks good at least :D

HP and FB boxes are branded seperatley in the early retail catalogue.

I think the brickhead range of all licenses comes in one shipment from lego. So it follow whatever that schedule is.

For a character to be featured i guess there have to be some visual lego reference past or present. But for werewolf Lupin, that's really just background information, so they don't need to make one in order to mention it. Werewolf lupin would be a nice addition to cmf since its quite different to all the more normal humans. quick test.

Well the leaked list turned out to not be reliable. We get two medium sets for FB. 3-4 figures for each seams reasonable. Put Newt in both and you're left with 6-7 figures. Newt, Tina, Jacob, Queenie, Dumbledore & Grindelwald is 6. And seemingly the most important ones. From the cast photo,we would then be missing Credence, ""maledictus"", Leta & Theseus. If Credence is necessary too you'd have 7 new figures, without any cmf intervention.

If fantastic beast sets sell enough they could do one year HP one year FB, and there could be continued sets. If FB dont do well enough alone there might be gap years and years with mixed waves.

2's doesn't have a complicated twist. 3's have a more streamlined stem crown profile. They are similar enough to where a lego version looks about the same amount like either. So a less complicated streamlined version. Seems like the kinda set where playability will negate a lot of accuracy with the tree.

Removed the ones that are random students, totally dull and Snape which is almost certainly in a set. Can't have a series with mostly school sweaters. Cmf figures usually justify themselves by standing out from each other or being quirky. Being a big deal in the book doesn't matter if they look uninteresting and barely was in background of movie. By uniform you mean their robes? removed Harry since 3 of those 'uniforms' would be redundant, especially since these kids don't have female features you just need 1 clean. I'd love a year 1-2 flitwick, he would be a great figure, but I'm not so sure WB wants to promote a character design they changed so much later. You get away with the likes of Susan bones in the set cause she is an excuse for a hufflepuff sweater and shes just one of many in one go.

Didn't he specify say the sets. The minifigure line is separate, as is the brickheadz. "We based these sets on movies 1 and 2 with a few bits from 3 added for flavour" Sure there is a load of students and weasleys left, But generally each minifigure in cmf tries to do something a bit special or noteworthy. In the great hall the little bit of 3 is the students torso prints. And Scabbers didn't matter until 3rd film.

Are you sure about that. Seem extremely limiting when theres 4 sets to cover those films already. After the 4 sets there's hardly 22 characters left in the 2 films.

There degrees right. So I think it works out fine to keep the white and replace the iris with what looks like a normal lego eye. It's perfectly common to stylize any eye with just making it black. So it works out both for lego and as an overall cartoonification. There likely will be 6 figures you only find 2 of in each case. the rest 3 in a case.

But it lego dont work out well when you do colored eyes.It should be cohesive. That last dobby have creepy eyes. That would be a good thing to have solved this time around. Don't want that nose breaking off either.

The cmf might have different faces. So older ones makes sense- Don't think cmf ever reuse faces? __ I hope we get a new Dobby with black eyes, to make him a bit more sympathetic and fit in with legos normal style.

I wouldn't feel secure that Mcgonagall gets 2 heads. Official image have showed more faces than we've gotten before. Due to her hat she can't have double sided print. Two heads for her would be a total luxury and I hope it happens. Both the faces are very movie accurate which is ace.

Also would be nice if we would get a square cloth piece from each house. for the towers and stands. Could do some really neat things with multiples, if the contents of the set is right.

Yeah does look like his. Sadly the dull Lucius tho, not the cool 5-8 Lucius.
