That's part of the point, there likely won't be another opportunity to get him so his correctness should matter the first time around. Maybe you're not familiar with it but legos dark brown color works out really well.

Aren't you guys meant to be the last line of defense against things like this, it is lego's product. Who stands up for the consumer. Whoever you are dealing at wb licensing must not paying attention to what actually going on. If they really wanted black Quirrell the linework should have changed to be his other costume. He no longer stands out in a lineup the way he should. So many characters, especially teachers wear black. Snape, Rolanda hooch, Flitwick. not to mention every student wears black pants and often black robes. Quirrell should have been different. All the bottom images showing the brown outfit. With special callout when hes in the same scene with others wearing black.

They didn't make that outfit caused the figure does not have the buckles. And the lego figure shows his vest/waistcoat underneath which the outfit u posted does not. And if they had been trying to make that outfit, why? its not at all his iconic one. He don't wear it for any of his iconic scenes. No hogwarts scenes.

Can any of your colleagues explain why professor Quirrell Is made in black and not brown like he is in the film?

I do, i think they have 2 waves planned to begin with. and if First wave goes well they will return with a third fto coincide with fantastic beasts 3. I don't think lego will pass on another hogwarts express.

There are loads of differences with the physical set they displayed. It's just some sort of prototype to give people a general idea. If you want to know what ur getting, stick to the oficial images.

From films 1 and 2 we are missing Just a few featured characers that are mostly absent from the later films. Hooch, Lockhart, Sprout. Am I missing anyone? - If the mysterious 'sporty' 4th HP set materialises then it seems like Hooch would go in that. - Lockhart could be too(arm incident). But lockhart could also go in the Aragog set since he does go with Harry and Ron (elsewhere) in that film. - Sprout makes sense with the willow since she is into plants. and the willow is located close to the greenhouses in that film.

What, the 2010 torso was way chibi, these new ones are accurate and mature. - Barn door be gone!

It was never really about getting those characters in the set. If this set had been "chamber of secrets showdown" there would be more cause for alarm.

That's fair but it's what they had ready. Toy fair one is longer than final one as well. I much prefer the final one though!

Why people keep asking for crests? it's the robes that had crests not the sweaters.. Btw it seems likely that: Brick-built Basilisk and Phoenix, is a way to "tie in" with the Fantastic beast suitcase set that has brick--built beasts. I'm sure you can consider brick built aragog in that group too. For all we know there's some brick-beast in willow set too.

what figures are meant to be in ford anglia/willow set? it's pretty pricey so there should be quite a few figures no? Still hoping for that Lockhart.

Yes the bun looks so much better on her, licensed minifigures lose all their uniqueness when using old bald hats.

^ Well there will only be so many hogwarts sets so they aim for the most iconic one which is film 4-7 and largely eight. They did make the hall look like a barn though. 2010 great hall had a better starting point. I'm more curious than ever about what the d2c really is. Considering how this set turned out.

I think the tan pieces on top of the grey roof would have looked better in a different color, sand blue or green perhaps. It's so much tan on this build some missing contrast.

Made a really shoddy sketch of the changes I'll want to make, to make it what I consider more accurate and appropriate while keeping in the scale. - Add the small towers sticking out of big tower. -Tuck in the middle of big tower. -Remove medium tower stuck onto big tower. - Add small 'tower' to corner of hall -Add larger courtyard border.

Hufflepuff, Susan Bones, the hair is indeed confusing. I had hoped Hermione would come with black robe printed on, for some variety but nop.

The lack of skirt pieces is a real downer for me, really takes the gravitas out of Dumbledore and McGonagall Their dresses ends at their knees too..
