Lego is super aware of christmas. Any choices they make, christmas has been considered.

Quidditch is a 500 piece set that sells for 40, 40 usually means no more than 4 figures. And you do get 4 new figures in the set (2 new torso prints 1 new face print) So you get 100 pieces, Snape and hermione almost as a bonus. The budget for the bricktober set is seperate from the line of playsets, So there simply wasn't budget to make Hooch in the quidditch set.

Casual clothes variants are lame, But since they do them id want them to be as varied as possible.

My 'issue' is there are 2 torsos from film 2 and zero from film 3. (Harry and Ron)

Since the express is the expensive set Harry and Ron should of had film 3 prints. The cheap set could have reused the ones from willow.

He really isn't so big even in the film.

I can't tell, But i have this intense feeling that i've seen that version of voldemort before. Some custom or artwork. Maybe from some 3rd party lego printing site. But I havent come up with anything in my recent searches for such things. =/

I bet you the design team went on a field trip to the studio tour. 2010 snake was just the typical color lego made that in.

Official photos does not have capes either. But with lego's new thick capes, figures look better without. At Least cmf still use the thin ones I believe? The black coat/robes will be a unique print later on. Similar to quidditch robes. Nagini color isn't really wrong. Lots of Nagini merchandise use a tan color. And the prop on display at studio tour is pretty tan too. Its one of those things where it seem they haven't settled on an official color, so everyone does it a bit different. So I don't think the lego snake should be considered unfinished cause of its color. prop Toy

It is a little suspicious with the flashing on that hand. It could be a reject. Its also the case that CMF is made cheaper than most minifigures giving the plastic more transparency. I hope its really, unless a real one is actually better :P

D2C will likely have mostly reused minifigures with possibly a couple new ones.

It would feel abit weird if both the 1st and 2nd d2cs from HP were both diagon alley.

Considering each wand colour comes as a pair one can do the math with what you get extra.

Nono, Filch wore a different outfit in the first 2 films. It was brown with a variety of differences.

That image is already wrong. Willow set is not recreating that part. And a d2c hogwarts won't be that focuses on that side of the castle. You should kind of ignore the normal sets when ur theorising about d2c hogwarts.

Nah it was made specifically for Ollivander. The potc minifigure is a nobody and doesn't match anyone.

Surely they wouldn't base the d2c on the first 2 films. Hogwarts looked the worst back then.
