I am not trying to joke or troll. I wouldn't want to see this theme return, in my opinion the sets released of it was quite poor. I know the sets would be better designed today but it's not a theme I care about and I would like Lego to go after other lisences instead. As for cuusoo not allowing projects wanting revival of themes is a bit silly, even if it wouldn't get made it would give LEGO another idea of what people are into. On top of beeing what it is now it should be an official lego petition place. Most online petition places are quite lame and doesent get taken seriously here LEGO has a place where it would be possible to make petitions you'd be sure leago would read (once it has enough support).

Is propably just unlock codes that you can find online anyways. POTC had "pre order bonus"es that werent exclusive... was just unlock cheats like for every lego game. IMAGE LINK But seeing those fairly unpopular characthers in lego form makes me giddy, even if i dont care about those characthers at all. This does confirm, the flash, captain marvel and aquaman... kindof.

The phantom menace is colorfull and kid friendly and is advertised as such, lotr isnt

I do agree that LOTR doesent have that much reason to sell well to kids, same thing with the hobbit wave, the films are rated 13 I think, and the ads arent going for kids, they are abit too dark and grim. I do hope it does really well!! Chanses of a second wave of atleast hobbit should be expected unless the theme thanks horribly, they can see how well the first wave did and then make set(s) in the price range that sold best and propably have a pretty good idea at how well it's going to sell. the problem is, is there enough LOTR fans that will buy sets to make up for the kids that wont buy this theme. pure speculation obviously!

@chucker: thanks for pictures of new mask. Does the back of the manual part list have the new mask? does the mask fit the head printing? if yes cane we see a comparison of heads? @ The Real Indiana Jones: I like that hair for Wolverine, any chanse we can see that on the comic suit? (I've never liked the hair lego uses for him)

The aliens you see in the trailer has got its face mask/helmet knocked off, where the lego figs have not. But I do think they should have used a costom head or a helmet. easpecialy with such abstract figures.

How come this is the first time we see the Uruks reversible head?? thats a suprise to me. shame he didnt show the horse moving the legs.

Thanks for the Black widow hair images, and for the rest of the review! I think the "Dastan hair" mold is better suited for Avengers Black widow than the current one, once we get Boromir hes hair should work well on her. I did a little photoshop on one of your image:

Closer is relative, but it shouldn't take much effor to see the changes, especialy with the ears. The original batman cowl by lego is really abissmal when you see it from the side..

What, I'd say its very much in controle, its barely been discussed even. Also along with the previous signs we got that TDKR sets would be released its very plausible. This new mask makes those 'rumors' seem more plausible. TDKR or not, variety(?) did say batman sets would be released around same time of the movie. Along with the lego logo on that one tdkr poster. And we havent gotten info on any sets so far, LEGO are usualy better at keeping movie sets secret. Obviously nothing is properly confirmed. Either way the mask is a sign of something in the future lego has not told us about. If its a new mask that will repalce the old then the box art should change aswell. I think it'll be released 4th August. what 4/8 means depends on where you live day/month month/day

Can you please take some comparison pictures? like from all 4 sides of the cowls. But it does show the edge of the white part right? so if they made a new print they would jsut need to nudge white part down a bit or raise the eyes.

I'd like them to put out as many Nolan-movies sets as possible while its still a thing. Two-face, Joker, Bane, Scarecrow and Catwoman please! Ra's would be cool aswell but hes the most boring of the bunch. You can have your precious Nighwing when the movie sets are done with

Before the black perl set was set to release some guy got maccus head in another set. Some are suggesting they are just changing out all batman cowls, but aparently not the printing to fit..... Aparently some person got a blue one of these in the funhouse but I havent seen images of it yet. On a sidenote, I'd love a picture of the lego logo on it to verify 100%

It's just a little less shiny, look like a finished product to me, it might be of the rubbery plastic that Lokis helmet is made of. The molding line/seem shouldnt be there if it was a prototype. (btw the perspective in this pic is part of why new one looks way smaller.)

Obviusly (imo) the hockey player mold is better than space marine mold for adding to iron man. Must say I think he looks great as is!

I hope they keep the torso design from comic com, I think it looks really good. Hopefully they'll add some leg printing to make it pop even more. It looks like a mix btween Nolans and Burtons Really glad theres a new mold for the cowl, the original always looked really bad from the side. quick photoshop:

Thats certainly new, and it looks soo much better than the old/regular one. and yes it looks alot like the one in the new bat movies.

Note that hes head/hair isnt the same size as normal minifigures.

Pretty sure it's just a bow or bow and arrow, of the modern kind. And btw, the staff isn't the POP dagger of time, its ninjago weapon I can't remember the name of atm. Anyways, nice seeing more images of the minifigs!

@CorneliusMurdock: Thanks, that is excellent, looks so much better. I think the color works, in pictures from the movie the color changes quite abit with the ligthing anyways. wish the alternate face for hawkeye wasn't the Angry face..
