Its a cool poster/cover so I think it deserves being posted in this thread despite being for the video game. I like that they've added a piece on handalfs staff, making it less akward, I think I'd still prefer a upsidedown small cone piece tho. Shame their Orcs doesen't look the the proepr mordor orcs from ROTK, they were redesigned for roth to be more of a threath. Also Aragorns sword looks nice! hopefully we'll still get that at some point, and gandalfs hat looks much better being modified, soemthign we'll proeprbly enver see in real lego.

Nightwing will be in the preoder dlc (will propably be for sale sooner or later) It's a real shame if they dont include Green arrow, hes become quite well known. The dlc they did for Harry potter 2, was it also a preorder bonus? in potc the preorder bonus was just cheat codes, how did they do it with Harry potter 2?? did the places for the dlc characthers in HP2 excist before they were downloaded?? Is that guy btween ra's and brainiac Genral Zod??? I hope theyll update the "prints" on the villains from first game. Its not unherd of, for alot of traler and screenshots superman had the wrong face, and this image is taken from pre alpha/alpha build of the game. if these are the final design that means we wont see real lego minifigs of these charactehrs any time soon or the game company would have the updated designs

This kindof thread is better for lego themes made before the move is released. but Eomer shouldn't have a cape.

Its good in alot of ways, but the proportions arn't right.

I'd increase the hight of the rock base more than the walls.

Look through the review hread for the set, some users have pictures of that.

More moria orcs seems abit unnessecary, they got that race/faction covered so they can move on to next, the normal orcs desperatley needs variation seeing as the moria ones all wer just about the same thing while the other orcs dosen't. Can't wait for lego to start making the gondorians and their heroes!

I'm fearing the first wave will be a small one. if thats the case then it'll be too few minifigs

Hang on, later this year for LOTR theme? or do they eman the hobbit? or just any lego theme? It sures sounds like he means LOTR (or hobbit wich is toeasily mixed together).

LINK Cyborg from LEGO batman 2,you can tell he isn't designed by lego people. he doesent look god IMO using gradients and too thin lines on the printing. that isn't what lego does these days.

Unless they go safe and do Bag end, rivendell and gollum cave wich have been seen before (gollum cave has changed I'm sure but come on its a cave and would only be a small set) Either way the results of the sets made bfore the release of the movie depends on what meterial the film makers give lego. It takes about 6 months to develop a theme I've heard and its about 6 months till december atm. They are done shooting the first movie I believe (mostly anyways) so their designs will have been finalized some time ago. IF (and thats a big if) lego has a decent connection with the movie people the hobbit sets have reason to be quite movie accurate.

Shame about the face "print" isnt that from another minifig made a while ago? Lego doesent use black printing for facial lines anymore far as I know.

It's even been found in blue.

I dont think resuing head btween high profile characthers is ok. do whatever with henchmen and randoms, but the main ones should have their own design.

Hopefully we'll get non exclusive Eowyn figures if we get a second LOTR wave

I hope we get the Flash and Aquaman lego minifigures, they look good/cool! I wonder if The flash's headpiece at some point was going to be used for captain america

This needs more pictures of the part where the tower connects to the wall and rest of the castle, there are almsot no pictures of that anywhere. the little area under roof etc.
