Wouldn't Fili and Kili be better suited for mirkwood/elven encounter. Seeing as Kili gets a crush on Tauriel(?) and both Fili and Kili do some lookout/scouting there? Also the propability of there being a "riddles in the dark" set is quite high it would propably be the cheap set of the wave and not feature any dwarves. Unless its part of a larger goblin halls/gollum cave set.

Thats his hat, and he wears it in almost everything we've seen from the movie.
-
well im pretty sure they won't wear helmets in the first movie, and I dont think lego will make them wearing hoods (except for Ori perhaps) It's in their best interest to make them as recognizable as possible. And I'm gonna guess most of the action happens with the hoods off. It really would be dissapointing if they made Nori with hood on. (the guy with star shaped hair)

Well you can see from the images of the dwarves in the movie what beards they'll make.

I much prefer the cut of the 1 hole capes.

LEGO LOTR / The Hobbit release dates and availability

They didn't leave out Thorin, I believe ths minifig lineup is from the bag end set, Not just randomly put together. -
those minifigures looks fantastic! Dwalin is my least favorite aswell, hes torso should be brown, the only green part of hes outfit is part of hes sleeves. Btw those minifigs are from the bag end set, you can tell by Bilbos clothes! Glad to see lego went all out on the new molds! Hopefully Fili+Thorin has a new mold aswell and doesent just use the PoP hair, It would work for kili tho!
-
Because it looks like Gamorrean Guard! They could make a belly as part of his hair/beard piece tho.

The hat(with a bird nest) seen in the blurry concept art is what he'll wear in the movie, people who saw the preview footage have said so. There was also some talk of large jackrabbits pulling some kind of sled, we'll see if thats soemthing lego will use, sounded strange to me!

If the braid is molded with the hair it will look fine, I'd say there's no way they'll make a "fat" torso for him. I think they'll wear the same costumes in the second movie battle scene, the audience needs to tell 13(plus an army) dwafs apart so changing their costumes would be abit confusing. Either way, heres an image with hoods on. Except for Ori I don't think any of the dwarves will come in a hood. Fili, Kili, Dori, Nori

I've been watching the e3 previews. I think one of the things the smiths can make is better weapons.

Compare the backpack with the spell selection in the HP games, the hp games got diferent costumes in one characther slot aswell, in the characther select not in the "backpack" The team making Lotr is the same one who made the HP games so we should expect this to return. (TT games got 2 studios working on diferent lego games for proper console/pc at once) Btw the backpack is also used for storing temporary items, for example if you find some mithril you'll have to deliver that to a smith, or a special key you need for a special chest later on,

I hope it's the lotr set with Elrond!

There won't be a potc movie in 2013.

The smallest sets in a wave rarely isn't much to build anyways so I'd rather it be some great minifigures, Battle packs doesen't do it for me unless they have uniqe minifigures.
-
I want new minifigures, cause you can't make them yourself (properly) buildings you can build of lego you already own. Sets without unique minifigures are a waste. And as people have said, most waves of lego feature sets cheap-ish to more expensive. A set in the price range that galdalf arrives is in would be good for a last alliance vs souron set or any minifigure heavy set. ther isnt potential for any great buildings at this price Elrond, Isildur and Sauron with some pice of rock or soemthing,(maybe another catapult to throw people away when sauron swings hes mace x]) Either way, that picture of Elrond from the game certainly gets my hopes up!
-
It looks even better on the black tdk/tdkr minifig!
-
No no, obviously they would design the hair piece for the msot important characther: Legolas. Also, Haldir and Legolas got the same hair style, Haldir has the hair over shoulder aswell.

The Penguin has exploding penguin bomb things.

Green lantern level 14 Flash level 15

Mind you, they were able to provide "battle packs" without Jack sparrow they just didn't. fyi the only generic characther in the potc pack was the royal soldier, the pirate and the zombies weren't the generic kind people seem to think. anyways I doubt lego got the same restrictions with lotr as they do with star wars, If lego thinks it is feasable do do packs with just random soldiers is another thing.
-
They also come in the special/limited edition of the game.
-
Hes hair is all on the back quite a few times during action, wind and such and im not sure the hair piece would look that good if they needed to put hair over the shoulders, I do however think they should have made it the same color as malfoys hair, instead of yellow.
-
We dont know for certain, but I dont think the market is so hot for lotr acrion figures at the moment, far as I know noone is making that right now so it shouldn't be a problem. EIther way I think lego will include some buildable stuff in battle packs anyway, unless its the 5 minifig blister pack you want, (wich usualy contains heroes aswell as random soldiers)
