I could see a fellowship minifigure box being a think they'd sell exclusively at some convention. If i'm not mistaken I think lego says a lisenced minifigure costs around 3$ so the set would be somewhere over 27$ A set like this won't be at all likely uintill the sales of the first wave lotr sets dry up substantialy. As good as getting all the minifigures in one set is. Spreading them out in sets is great so there won't be a horrible amount of duplicates (harry potter) for people that already buy several of the sets.

I'm a minifig collector first and I buy sets when it makes sense cause of ridiculus minifigure prices. But yes, I do feel like I want to have all the lotr figures before The Hobbit sets arrive. I would also like to wait to see if any lotr charatchers shows up in hobbit sets seeing as this should decrease their price. (Looking at you Legolas) Btw: I do buy sets for the sets when they are just too awesome. (Bag end looks like one of those) A smart person in the right position would ask for lotr sets for christmas, then get alot more of them cause theyve proapbly gone cheaper. Patience vs money

The armor is more Beige/pale gold With small silver/grey chrome parts.

Thats not at all a good slide show. It is jsut the FBTB pictures that most people have seen already. the pictures are good but that video there adds nothing to it, it only makes for a wore viewing experience of the photos.

I hope the Dwarves in the Barrel escape set doesen't come with costumes special for that scene.

It is dark blue with light grey arms. The picture makes it show up as blackish because of reflections in glass aswell as the poor quality.

People complaining about Nova. Hes quite a main charactehr in the Spider-man cartoon. Also! They will be making a guardians of the galaxy movie, wich he should be a part of. My opinion of the nova figure is the red part of the helmet is too bulky. I'm really happy they are doing Aquaman! He looks sweet! Jim gordon look very good, but I would have prefered his more iconic look with a brown jacket and tie. Bane look much better as a real figure compared to the blowup-doll like image of him. The eyes/eyebrows doesent resemble Movie bane and they look too cartoonish

Shaun of the dead is rated "R" while nolans batman movie are rated "T". Batman punches dudes in most/all of his incarnations. Shaun of the dead beats humanoids into bloody pulps and makes sex jokes. (if I remember things right)

but they are using the "mature" designs/vehicles, but setting it to the general batman universe. "batman" is as much a kids thing as an adult thing. "shaun of the dead" is a franchise only ever meant for more mature audiences. Batman has an anchor in content for children is the key.

Well for kids its jsut another costume/design for the batman universe, and they see ads and other toys with these designs. so it makes sense for lego to try and make some money on that. And it'll propably sell abit more to adult fans. Its not like theyre basing the whole line/wave on these movies. Besides its a chanse for them to make the sick bat vehicles! The bat and BLACK tumbler please. ( I know thats unlikely in one set)

No no, the 2008 torso is bad. this torso uses the 2011 sdcc exclusive batman print. but that was black (glorious) and this one is gray (boo)

I prefer the all black exclusive from last year They try to make it more like comic batman with that.... underwear.

Also they ARE showing Spiderman but not Ironfist and doc oc.. spiderman is no newer than those 2.

It appears theyr'e only showing about half of the new figures.

All the amrvel figures are from the spiderman cartoon, he is a villain in that. NO FF
