LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Discussion
BaneShake replied to npgcole's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
That's not uncommon, not just for Lego. Wii U didn't sell well enough for most companies to merit extra paid content through Nintendo's specific requirements, whatever they may be.- 201 replies

That is correct. This is the only picture I currently have with that Batcombo, so I went with it here.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Mine just got them in, from the looks of things, today. I feel like I do more to clear out CMFs from Walgreens than all the other customers put together, so I'll start searching for duplicates there soon enough. -
I'm gonna guess a duck, real or rubber. That would be great. I like ducks.

My favorite is a mix-and-match. Electrocutioner by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr This Batman, but I usually have a normal face on him.

Finally got the last of the figs for a whole set from Walgreens! Time to start mixing and matching. -

Unless the novelization is inaccurate; they aren't the most reliable sources, as often they're written with a time constraint or with an earlier version of a script. Since we've gotten conflicting sources on O'hara, we'll just have to wait and see. -

I wonder if we could wind up seeing another pack like this, with Batsuits like the kissed one or the bunny suit, which have merch but no official minifigs so far. -
I'm gonna guess Firestorm. Why? I dunno. Whoever it is, I'd suspect somewhere in his tier of unreleased heroes. Could be the likes of Guy Gardner, Ted Kord, the Atom, or Vixen as well.

Either that's a placeholder price, or they are banking on the potential foolishness of their shoppers... -

One of my Lobster Batman's faces was abnormally low on the head. I found it useful, because the electric-suit Batman's cowl (from a few years back) fits lower than later type-two cowls, so he finally has a properly-fitting face. I could see it being very obnoxious for someone without these specifics, though. -

If you want to get technical, that's the suit he wore for years in comics, so there actually is a source for it. So technically, yes, many people will prefer that figure. -

I went in Books a Million earlier, and they had a sticker book out for The Lego Batman Movie. Nothing new, but better looks at some of the figures that haven't been released yet. Harley Quinn closer look by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr Scarecrow closer look by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr Two-Face closer look by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr I didn't realize that this Harley's skirt has two colors before seeing this. Otherwise, though, we've seen her in this image before; Scarecrow and Two-Face, however, I don't believe we've seen this up close yet. -
I've had a large majority of successes with BrickLink, but one particularly bad case. I ordered a Squidward 'fig, the one with the molded head, just out of general interest. The seller had no description other than "used" like everyone has, so I figured there was nothing else to note. Boy was that wrong. The head was horribly scratched, and even had ink streaks of some other kind. The torso has multiple cracks along the bottom of all four sides, and the right arm almost immediately lost a huge chunk from the side, and I wasn't even doing anything to put strain on it. It was such blatantly awful quality, and wasn't even one of the cheapest ones in the seller lineup, I am never buying form that seller again.

I'm not interested in the general Marvel sets so far (far more blown away by the Mighty Micros), so I really hope the MCU sets blow my mind.

The Hateful Eight. Absolutely loved it, my roommate had an existential crisis from how bleak it was.

For cheap, it's well worth it. Although it is short, it's got such solid combat it's worth replaying on the hardest difficulty, and the DLC is only like a dollar. I only lack one trophy from the entire game and DLC, and it's the nigh impossible challenge maps.

Haven't seen a Wonder Woman micro yet. Shame, too, as I'm going to make a custom Wonder Girl with her torso.

I was feeling for them (they only had about nineteen or so), so there was some strategy, but this is a tricky series. I was uncertain the first time I thought I had a pink Batgirl, and then when the second time I was certain, I decided to grab it anyway. Lobster Bats I was fairly sure I already had one, and just didn't give a hoot. I undoubtedly put two Orcas back. I only need Commissioner Gordon, Cop Barbara, Harriet, Dick, Eraser, and Red Hood. Catman's color scheme looks sooooo goood in person. -

Grabbed 16 cmfs at Target, and only 2 were duplicate. Even better, one of the dups was Lobster Loving Batman, which is insanely useful to have a spare of. -

If that bunny suit gets a regular minifig release, I already know how I'm going to mix and match it with other pieces.
