Very nice addition to a fantastic layout. :) Also original idea and well executed. Love the painter and graffiti in tunnel. One question; have you used only Simpsons pieces for that modular? If not could you give an approximate piece count?

Very nice. Covers 2 of my most favorite themes. Will blend in nicely with modulars and also a functional train station. Nice job, supported already.

This has never been done before, and it seems like it wont be for a long time but; A maersk like locomotive with modular cars would be awesome. Not much train sets with more than 4 cars. This could be done in 2 sets, 1 set for kids with basic train and station for playability and another one for those who want to expand the original set.

The 190cm (whatever inch that is :) ) shelf from IKEA supports up to 25kg (whatever lbs that is) tested myself with 8-9 modulars. Been 6 months, still holding up.

Hello, As you already know there has been many humble efforts, most of them successful, on the road to Bricklinking this precious modular building. And now i'm on the same path. Will post building pictures here, also will try to do a frame-lapse build video. I've almost ordered all of the parts, with some exceptions and replacements; There are some unreasonably overpriced parts as you may know it such as; 6120, minifig utensil, Got some trans clear colors instead, will try to get a more colorful look. 73312 4x5 Front Door Right I've ordered a Red one instead Gonna skip 4719 Wheel Base for now, as its gonna cost much just for 1 bike. This 3063 Tan 2x3 Slope is also a bit expensive, but managed to replace it, i will share the solution as parts come in with post; 2546 birds, completely cosmetic add-on. I've made a mistake when ordering a little portion of parts and now i have 12 Birds and 0 frogs :P Instead of 2x 16x32 green baseplates which are overpriced i've used a brand new 32x32 tan baseplate, makes no difference actually fits better since almost all my other modulars have this one These Dark Blue ones, they do really hurt. Since i've changed front door color, i've ordered dark bluish grey, tan and light bluish grey options, gonna try and figure out a good look. Have most of the dark blue ones but we will see once i start building; 73179, another rare door piece, Still trying to figure out a replacement; 1 Euro each, needs 36. Pretty painful to order these. I will either part-out some old sets and order at minimum or change the roof color. Gonna use 10x 1x4x3 frames instead of this one; These are the ones i remember made me question this build. There are a total of 11 orders for this build, orders also include slopes, plants and flowers for a nice tree project. Total cost is around 300 Euros, including shipping, tracking and all other fees. This comforts me, may be a bit more than other bricklinked modulars but its the best i can get. 2 orders have arrived, Got one seller in hospital, asked for some time (think will ship as of 01/06) Another one will get NRS soon, since no contact is possible, All others are on their way. Also minifigures has been excluded, i got plenty of townsfolk, not gonna spend 25-30 euros for the sake of having exact figures.

Almost everyone relies on Ikea. The shelf depth is perfect for 32x32 baseplate. For the bookshelves, i like what you did with the pencil (i guess) Could work well with some stickers too :)

A bit busy nowadays, i finally managed to complete interior. Not as good as i've imagined but here it is. Also forgot camera at work so photos are a bit low on quality. Don't have much time to improve any more, this will be kept as it is. Maybe later after all the trips etc i have to take, i could change and improve interior, at least reach same quality as outdoor design. Our office belongs to Banana Corp, as an Equador business, corp vision is laziness, and slow work at its best. Wasting an entire 3 floor building, they manage to keep up with company rules. Advertisement not necessary really, just a banana on the door would suffice. Office cat, obsessed with office parrot. Many unsuccessful hunting attempts have been made. Springfield, new market for Banana Corp delivers "ordinary" news to our assistant, who keeps an eye on target markets. Company culture should be kept alive, more talk, less work. Technician disassembling Christmas tree and ornaments, its February already... Entire 2nd floor, wasted just for general manager and his assistant, only in Banana Corp. squander more! Careful, eyes may be watching, but no fear such dirty windows that image is blurry at best. Theres a snowstorm outside, hanging in office with tees on, only in Banana Corp. More than enough conditioners. Smoke break, let the other technician work of course.

Still waiting for BL order, whilst waiting i've modded 2 of my current modulars, working on pet shop now. Red building will be 3 stories high and blue one will be double wide.

Great review, really enjoyed it. I guess you have a cat in your house?

Nothing much to see at back, just a backyard door on 1st floor. But i will put some pics on and maybe with some modifications. Also it would be nice to see roof equipment from back. 1st floor will be like a reception, maybe a turnstile gate. And open office. 2nd floor will be 2 or 3 rooms, or maybe also open office. Have no idea about roof :) Just waiting Bricklink order as im missing some glasses and utensils. Dont want to rip off anything from my modulars.

Hello, My 3rd MOC, again a modular is here. -3500+ pieces excluding interior design. - Uses 3x 16x32 baseplates, a corner building - Funtional stairs on each floor, each floor de-attachable - Standart fitting points for other mocs, standart pavement - Higher stories than classic modulars.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

SSDs does not have those. I have two, one opened on display and one misb. Checked instructions and nope. -
I'm working on a metro/train station diorama, with modulars on top. But i dont have much space at home. There are too many sets and parts to be opened/sorted out. Once the diorama is going on i will try one train moc.

Which famous train would you like to see in Lego form?
ancestral replied to Godtshep's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The Japanese Shinkansen would be very good side by side ve HE. Maybe with 4 or 5 cars, even an UCS as a train. A single molded piece like the one used in 60051 would create a stunning show train.
