    Vindsval nods to the woman. Thank you for allowing us to end this without further . . . delay. You are indeed correct that there are those who we would see before leaving this place. The Captain for one, has told us that he has something to give us for our efforts in finding the countess. I for one would see that contract completed. Vindsval reaches into his pocket and pulls out a geode. I also need to see a blacksmith about a stone cutting. As for how we arrived here, there were great magics involved. And I am not certain if that method of travel is still available to us. You have spent much time here, I heard there are docs. Are there passenger ships available? Vindsval turns to the others in the party. Amber will come with us. Shall we Meet with the captain? and then perhaps make a quick trip to the blacksmith before finding our way back to her father?

    Without any Kind of communications to the masses, it's conceivable that the general public knows very little of what's going on outside of the city. Even into the early 1900s very few people knew much of what happened outside of their own hometown

    Vindsval's eyes grow wide seeing the amount of treasure within the chest. "A bounty indeed." He divides the contents evenly between himself and Sorrow, placing his share in his travel pack. (500 gold, two Grating Stones, 1 Myrrh, 1 Ambrosia, 1 Mulled Wine) "Let us find our friends." With that he heads for the door and arrives at scene of the negotiations. "Yes your Misguided zealot has been sent on his Path to Judgement. Tell Me Ms. Makepeace, will you follow him? Or will you come with us to see your father? It would cause me great sorrow and no small amount of shame to return to him with only news of your destruction. Please come with us back to the city. I have no history with you Amber, but if you will trust me, I will pledge myself to your safety until your have met with him." OOC: Please adjust Vindsval's stats to show him being level 30. power should be 56, Ether 34, Health 46)

    "You must carry a greater awareness of your body my friend, you have but one. As soon as I can figure out how to open this box, we should see to our companions. Neither of those two are the most diligent of negotiators." Vindsval jams the two swords into his belt and pushes the shining mail into his traveling bags, and then continues to attempt to Open the Golden Chest.

    Vindsval wipes his blades clean on a scrap of the undead assassin's clothing and returns them to their scabbard. "I give thanks to you Gray One for this victory, may it lend to your glory and power. Now I offer these three souls to you for judgement." He prays softy. The Witch Priest Moves to the fallen brute and picks up its massive sword. He gives it a test swing, holding the enormous blade easily in one hand. "Good balance" Quickly and cleanly he brings the sword down three times, severing the heads of the three undead. He places it on the ground and then lifts the heads in his massive palms, offering them to his Lord. "May these three meet with your truth and Judgment, set them firmly on their next path." His single organic hand begins to glow with a golden light as his offering is accepted by The Wanderer. He then sets each head upon the chest of its former owner. While it glows stilll Vindsval moves to Sorrow, and lifts him to a sitting position. He places two fingertips to the Wizard's chest. Be Healed my friend. WE have far yet to walk this night. VINDSVAL HEALS SORROW. Let us gather our spoils and find our wayward friends. Shall we see what is in that chest? Certain that his companion is now well Vindsval moves to the table and OPENS the Golden Chest.

    OOC: I am a little confused by the Math. With a power of 55 how did Vindsval deal 45 damage? Feeling much better after downing the potion, Vindsval continues to lash out at the Misguided and Mal-intented underlings. I admire your faith and commitment Jarret, it is a shame that you place it in one such as Makepeace. But at least dual strike still targets both enemies so I won't get slammed by a free hit.

    OOC: Vindsal will repeat this action until he either rolls Hex, or his hit points drop below 20. If you want to roll multiple rounds until one of those two things happens in order to speed things up please feel free.

    Vindsval looks down at the fallen Necromancer. That could have gone better. Now, to true business. He looks to the two remaining undead,one realing, the other smirking. He presses the release latch on the Twin Sai of his Bifrost Blades, separating them once again into two blades, as the old Monk had shown him long ago. He takes one in each hand, a new wonder that ability, and stares down the two creatures. Shall we walk together my Friends? The Wanderer grows impatient with this daliance. The green skinned giant lowers his head slighly, draws his brow, and grins showing his ample for fangs. His eyes flare red as he lashes out at his two assailants.     Vindsval looks at the dwarf curiously, trying to decide if it is sentiment, or greed that causes him to demand they stay their hand against these new enemies. Perhaps if you are quick all those who stand before you will stand still upon your return. But I swear no Oath Throlar. NOW RUN.
