Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Jedi-Bendu replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Definately the AT-TE. -
Yup, I did. Not interested in Kylos shuttle (because of the wings...color) and the grey X-Wing (I have rhe black/orange version) but wanted the figs.
-
Release date will be Force Friday I guess....and the date hasn't been anounced yet.

The Luggabeast was also brickbuilt.....so no big surprise if the Rathtar is this as well...right?
-
Don't think so:

Come.on. So, if a member goes offtopic he/she goes to the chamber, but when a mod is acting like described by VaderFan (and me) then that's his style. Tell me I'm being pranked. Where's the hidden camera? Exactly. Ah, I have a tantrum now. Not answering the question seems like taking the easy way to me.

Thanks. Bala Tik dresses in black just like the officers and since there were no officers in that scene I bet its Mr. Tik in this set. Thanks 4 the info! Appreciated!
-
THANKS! the fig in the Quadjumper you dont remember: Sarco Plank? Zuvio? Did he have a disc as a hat? Rathtar: a brickbuilt creature? And are the gang members the same? Also, could it be the officer is Bala Tik? (Did he have an hairpiece or cap) Hope you can answer! Thnx!!!!!

Check the profile. But like I said: I have only experienced this tone here...in 20 years of posting on forums...(where people have gone offtopic as well!) Also funny that my other questions are still unanswered/avoided. Good luck with the forum.

There are pix on MakingStarWars.net. The rumour originated there.

Ok, then here's the correction: I think you’re missing my points: A private chat during which you cannot post on the forum for an offtopic post? Isn’t that a bit harsh? Apparently you must ignore certain questions (like why someone doesn’t post anymore) because you get a private chat during which you cannot post on the forum if you give an answer? Moderators talk to you like you’re a little kid? You’ve explained why you have these ‘chambers’ instead of simply sending a PM. Ok, that’s clear…now what about the other things?
-
Regarding the TIE Bomber rumour: I don't doubt nrg for a second. Funny thing is that today rumours surfaced regarding Kylo Ren's personal TIE Advanced in VIII (different desing than the bomber). 2 TIE's on Force Friday?

I think you’re missing my points: A temporary ban for an offtopic post? Isn’t that a bit harsh? Apparently you must ignore certain questions (like why someone doesn’t post anymore) because you get a temporary ban if you give an answer? Moderators talk to you like you’re a little kid? You’ve explained why you have these ‘chambers’ instead of simply sending a PM. Ok, that’s clear…now what about the other things?

No dad, it doesn't. Regarding the 2nd thing: someone asked why CM4Sci isn't posting anymore. I answered. Wouldn't it be rude if everyone ignored that question? EXACTLY. Ehm, what does this have to do with my post? Sure, I fully understand you cannot watch the site 24/7 (I'm an editor/admin myself), but this hasn't got anything to do with the tone of language and the absurd strictness of some rules. Minor things (like an offtopic post) should be treated differently, not so hostile. It would only improve the forum. People should enjoy the site, not being afraid of getting a (temporary) ban and think five times before they post. Just my 2 cents.

Since the late 90’s I’ve been active on many forums, messageboards. From Star Wars to football, from DVDs to merchandise, games….too many to mention. In all these years I have never, ever received a (temporary) ban, not even a warning! Until a few days ago, when I made the unforgivable mistake to post in the Star Wars rumours 2017 thread. Someone posted that Rogue One was doing better at the boxoffice than the prequels and I (politely) replied (with a link to boxofficemojo) that both Episode I and III made more money. Oh, I also replied to someone who asked where CM4Sci was by saying he got a ban and I didn't know what the reason was. Apparently, such posts are a crime. A huge crime. Well, according to ‘moderator’ stash2sixx that is. He placed me and 12 others in ‘the isolation chamber’ for this offense. The way he talks and handles things….not the way I'd do it. Oh, while in the chamber you’re also not allowed to look at the other threads! (Really? Who invents these rules?) In all my +-20 years on the internet I have never, ever, experienced something like this. I like this forum. I like this forum a LOT. Because of the users (who provide the best Lego information there is), sadly not because of ‘moderators’ like the one mentioned above who just seem to enjoy the ‘power’ they have on this page. As I really, truly enjoy reading posts and looking at the videos and pictures members post here I will certainly remain a lurking member, but I'll have to think about posting here again.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/franchises/chart/?id=starwars.htm Adjusted for inflation both I and III are more succesful than RO.

He was banned for unknown reasons.

Something else: the summer 2017 sets (Rathtar, Quadjumper, Vader's transformation etc) -Later this month and in February are the NY and London Toy fairs. We'll get confirmation (and pix) then, right? -The Bountyhunter battlepack: any confirmation on whether we'll get Bossk in that set? (I already have him from the Slave I set, but a friend (who doesn't collect LEGO but collects everything Bossk related) is dying to get him)

It turned up yesterday and I wanted to post it here, but there was a flamewar going on on FB The person who posted it was called a fake and a fraud...although it looked real to me I moved on as it was newyears eve . Now better pix have turned up and the people who cried that it was a fake are suddenly silent in that group
-
According to a Lego FB group that image is fake. There was a huge discussion about it yesterday (posts and threads got deleted). It would be funny if it turns out to be real :D

7 weeks ago I placed two orders....I checked 17Track and two days ago they were still in China! Has anyone else experienced this? I will never order there again.
-
The 'Tracker' sets are from the Freemaker Adventures?
-
eBay? Bricklink? Asking someone on this forum if he/she can ship them? The good thing is: you will get them eventually. There have been several things 'the rest of the world' never got in the pre-internet days. (But that's a different discussion)

USA always got movies earlier. Weeks, months.....for example: Episode I was released in May 1999....many european countries got it in september. DVDs? In the early years of DVD the USA got 'em first....and often those releases were better (more extras) Imperial Assault (a Star Wars board game): yup, USA gets the expansions first. Also, there are still several books which are released in America before they get a 'rest of the world' release. And yes, finally....after all those years now european countries get something first. Why can't people deal with this....just like europe dealt with it for so many years? And if you really want those sets right now....you can order them online (Amazon UK etc) Now excuse me....I have a Phantom 2 and a Rogue One Y-Wing to build... (hope you can see the humour of this)
