Okay so I has this idea about how the story may work this year. Remember back in 01 where we had the Toa Mata, The Matoran and the Turaga all introduced in the same year? I think they might change that in this reboot (assuming for this post it is a reboot). Also assume that the defenders are not Matoran or anything similar of the sort. I think that this may be a direct prequel to what will be the story line of 01. Seeing as the more than likely wont be canisters, maybe the Toa will be awake on their journey to Mata Nui. This means that there isnt a flood of main characters in the first wave of sets like G1. We get to meet the main characters before all the others so it makes it easier to understand. In 2016 there could even be a MNOG remake that takes place before the Toa even arrive at Mata Nui. This is just pure speculation though.

Well as a matter of fact... But seriously, I wouldn't like ANY existing characters genders to be changed, nor do I think it will happen. I WOULD however, like to see new female characters ALTHOUGH, given the choice between more female characters and more good characters, if chose the latter. Not that they would be mutually exclusive mind.

If each Toa has a different bone colour, it would make me a very happy man.

I actually liked him, although I never got the set. Though I cant say Im a massive HF collector anyway. I have all heroes of BO and thats it really.

I think it just shows that teams should be kept small. Around six or seven. At least to start with. If LEGO do decide to keep just one team(Which I hope they dont) they can always add more characters along the way.

I always liked the idea of romance in Bionicle. As long as it isn't forced I think it generally turns out well. Although I must say I sometimes liked there being no official ships in canon, because I liked to see what ships people would create. I think Ive seen Gali shipped with every single Toa Mata.

All I know is that when I was a kid I never held against getting a female Toa or character(as Im sure like many others). In fact I would like getting more because it gave my males or female bionicles partners. I never liked how short in supply the girl Bionicles were so I would often make some male characters or undetermined gender ones female. I personally think that while the offficial story line shouldnt change the gender of any of the official cast we should still see more females with new characters. I think a good ratio would be something like 3:1. Would seem to be perfect to me. Also more female canister villains. I believe we only officially got Gorast in G1

Not the same. SW is a huge franchise with an even larger fan base. Bionicle and HF would attract the same fans, causing lack of sales from both

True. Let's hope masks aren't to big to be used but they don't look it. Oh well. Should be interesting non the less.

At least XL only had one big. This is half the team.

I hope the Toa won't be drastically different sizes, although it does look like it.
