Okay so I think the gold skull spider mask is the mask of control. By the looks of the mini comic Loss is using it to summon all the skull spiders.

Pretty sure he just meant the sets not too easy on the eye. In which I would have to agree. IMO it looks a bit of a mess.

I was at first a little taken back by the height differences but I dont mind it so much now. It makes each Toa more different and unique which is a really important thing. Also I think if I HAD to make three Toa a larger size I would have chosen the same three that were chosen. Couldnt imagine the smaller Toa as larger sets. Although it does beg the question of what we will see in 2016. If the same Toa return will their sizes be kept the same? I actually theories that they will all be medium size sets so that they can then include canister villains too. I would almost bet my house keys we will see canister villains in 2016, possibly even the winter wave which would be GREAT. What do you guys think? Also, if I didn't know any better I would say that was pretty passive aggressive behavior right there.

Oh come on. Its not like anyone has'nt gotten mixed up before. the whole thing with the story question and Lewa set was a genuine mistake and we as human beings are all prone to making them, arent we? Sure fans make it spread but its not exactly their fault either. Its no ones. And I've never known TTV to not disclaimer them selves when something is speculation.

Honestly, I think all together. They are varied enough but they arent that complex so it wouldnt take long to show them off. Plus, I like your longer reviews anyway.

When it said Tahu was forgetful I kind of took that he forgot his lessons and principles in heated moments which would actually be a fairly real weakness and would make for a good main character. No so much the"Oh wait, I forgot my weapons" type of forgetful. Which come to think of it, would be kind of hilarious. As for the other weakness, I kind of hope they make them goofy a little bit, but in a way that it doesnt take its self to seriously. I just hope it knows what it is and doesnt try to be something its not, if that makes sense.

How come? The seventh Toas name was never mentioned before he became it.

Yeah I also thought about that. I think he would just keep the name Takua. The name change was always kind of odd to me. No other Matoran ever changed their name when they become Toa and its not like it was his name before he went into hiding. But I think if he is released, I wouldnt worry about his colours clashing with Kopaka. I think this gold amour think its probably just wave related. I think it would be cool if he came back with the bronze-y gold that he had in 03 though. Know it wont happen but I always prefered that gold.

I hate it though. I know water, fire , etc aren't technically elements, but they make sense in the fact they are natural, raw ... I don't know the word for it really. But there is something mystical about them. Jungle is just plants really. That's all I think of. It just doesn't mix well with the others. It's like Toa of Desert or Toa of Arctic. I know the implications of the power, but it just doesn't sound right. It's more of a habitat than an actual... Thing

I really loved the inika masks. It was probably my favorite thing about the 06 Toa for sure. Very unique. I wouldn't have liked it for a permanent thing but it fit the story and mood really well

There has been one thing thats been bugging me recently. Its the fact that there are no named villager sets. We also dont know if Protectors are villagers yet but even so they arent named. Part of what made Bionicle so special to me was the stories about the Matoran, particularly on 01-03. I really hope lego doesnt shift ALL focus onto the Toa. I know they are the main characters but if we dont have characters of the people they are defending then why should I really care about their mission so long as they all get out okay? I really hope we at least get Takua and Jaller in the summer wave similar to how they were sold in 03 with titan sets sold with them. Heck we dont even have any named Villain sets. The only characters we have are the six Toa (and arguably LOSS, though we dont know much about him yet). In 01 we had 18 as sets and even more in story. I could understand Lego just introducing the Toa this year instead of flooding us with 18 characters all at once. Seems to make sense I guess. If Takanuva is introduced, I hope he just doenst come out of no where(like Rocka) and they actually make Takua transform into him.

But then they would lose potential customers. Isn't summer bigger than winter in terms of sales?

All in all the only thing that upsets me is the 5 sets in summer. It seems odd they would do that, anyone else agree?
