  1. 7939 Cargo Train for $139?! That sounds too good to be true. That would be more than half-price! Nevertheless, I'll be checking that out. Saw a bunch of Imperial Flagships at Myer Cannington (4, at least) on Friday. Perhaps dug them out of a warehouse somewhere?
  2. Which David Jones store did you happen to see this? Fire Brigade for $150 sounds a little too good to be true... The DJs website says that it has been reduced from 300 to 250, unless that info is old
  3. For those of you who have not yet gotten Myer One cards, they are offering the staff discount to card holders, if you present a special flyer on purchase. Click here for the flyer. 5. Plus, if you use the MyerOne card from now until Sunday, there's an extra 10% off. So the Lamborghini becomes $62.10 Good deal

Also had the City Fire superpack, the one with the latest Fire station in it - $180
  7. Is it only Toyworld that stocks the Advent Calendars? Or does that change as Xmas nears? Has the City one been spotted anywhere?

  10. I saw some of those in stock, didn't think it was worth taking note of, since I didn't know the original price. Also, 7641 City Corner - $88 (not sure if there's any saving, just saw the yellow tag)
  11. Kmart had the Impulse sets for $2, not sure which ones, only saw the tag. 13. A bunch of S2 Minifigs from Toys R Us with a 20% off coupon - now a complete set!
  14. How much of a potential discount is there for a pre-Christmas sale? 20-30%? What was last year like?
  15. I think that you two are getting a little confused. Please keep in mind that there are at least two Garden City shopping centres in Australia, one in Brisbane, one in Perth. Both with a DJ's inside.
  16. Calling ahead sounds like a good idea. Do they know what you're talking about when you call? I checked out Carousel and East Vic Park yesterday and they had nothing. Maybe they'll be in today. No S2 minifigs available either.
  17. Isn't the Toyworld catalogue supposed to be posted online today? What gives?
  18. Bargains indeed. Did anyone buy anything from this seller? Would you recommend him?
  19. I hope that includes the minifigs! I saw that paper stating it's 30% too. Will have to bring it along to show them.
  20. How much have people been paying for the S2 Minifigs? I was expecting them to be $4, but Target in Victoria Park had them for $3.75 each. Has Toys R Us been selling them? If so, how much?
  21. I was at Gateways, someone had opened the last box of the Venator Cruiser and pilfered the minifigs! So I asked if there were any more in back, which there was. I asked if I could get a further reduction on the open box, they said no. Oh well. I hope that the Venator Cruiser is worth it.
  22. Where did you hear about this? It's not in their online catalogue, unless they haven't put it up yet...

  24. It could be, I don't know. The Front Loaders are not being recalled though. I'm not sure what the deal is the with the Excavator - mechanical, electric, or both.
  25. With respect to cleaning Lego, should magnets (from the old space sets) be washed separately in a bucket, instead of the washing machine?
