This set is really just a general Hogwarts. Like the other castles pertained to one book, this one is quite a few. Having Lord Voldemort in the set...book 7 The Quibbler with that headline...book 5 or 6(can't remember exactly which) Sirius's face in the fire...book 5 The Daily Prophet with that headline...book 5 Tom Riddles Diary...book 2

Yes, all past sets(current sets as well) all have Harry. They don't, however have all three. But hey! they're you're creations, so have at it.

This rivals member Skafte's minifigs collection. But, it looks like this has more exclusives.

For me personally, it would be a hinderance and annoyance. Like thread maker said, it would make me second guess buying something off ebay. I don't think I'd buy any old sets anymore, which would stink. I would stick to S@H and TRU. I don't think they'd be a threat to Lego, although depending on the cost of materials and how complicated the machine is to the average person. If, say the cost of materials to make something was the same cost to get the set(s) with similar pieces, I'd imagine most people would lean towards just buying the set.

You realize of the 8 sets you listed, you think 7 of them should come with Harry, Ron & Hermoine.... So, you would really want to have 7 of each of those 3?.... I'm assuming you'd buy them all, sinve you thought them up. Plus, with the amount of minifies in each, they would cost a small fortune! You're just mini fig happy, aren't you?

Why don't you just pre-order it from S@H?(assuming you have the cash) paying the TRU is more or less another set! That's crazy to pay TRU prices! For that and the Hogwarts Express, anyways...

I'm with you on that, the RAG was one of the first newer SW sets I bought. My personal fav is a close call between the Imperial Flagship and the Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker, but the Dropship edges the Flagship.

If I were you, I'd at least get the Hogwarts Express and Hogwarts from S@H. You can at least get free shipping this month. I can handle a few dollar markup...but, anything above $5 is a bit much. Makes me happy I got them from S@H. Saved a bit of money! More legos for me!

Plus, you probably wouldn't be saving anything, even if they are cheaper here...what about international shipping? I'm sure that would cancel any saving on the price...

Hopefully someone can answer this, I don't think many people bought this, but... 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker, do you feel it's really worth the price tag? I've been biting my tongue on buying this, but my recent small obsession in making a clone army is growing. Plus, I really like the set. So, overall...worth it, or no? Just want some opinions... Wow, this is jaw dropping! This rivals the 'Ave Caesar coliseum. I hope you did it in pieces(and yes, I realize legos are pieces), or rather movable sections if you overdo want to move it. Man, you MOCer's amaze me everyday with your creations.

You could probably add that to the new castle that's coming out, it may fit well. Watching for the remodel!

Wow, this is simply epic. That is so above and beyond MOCing. As is, it is crazy...I can't imagine how "awesomamzing"(thanks for that Legorski) it will be when you've finished it.

The latest set I bought was the Advent Calendar and my lion knights are infested with the pink... Since the calendar is a new release, I'm guessing the pink plague is still around.
