Any idea how much longer we can expect the Forest Police sets to still be available? I still need to get a few... Hopefully I have at least till tye end of the year. I got a bit too excited and went a bit too crazy buying... Gotta take a breather and get the ol' credit card under control.

Yep. No matter how good or inexpensive something is, there will ALWAYS be someone complaining. Of course, it's somewhat to be expected on here since it IS a LEGO fan site. But still... I don't have a problem with clone brands. I don't even pay attention to them in the aisles. Although, Nanoblocks are pretty cool. There is one clone brand though, I think it's simply called "Brick(s)", that are blatant rip offs of LEGO. If you are an AFOL who likes say, Halo or Mario or Hello Kitty, then have at it and buy one. If you like it, great. I don't see why we should turn our noses up at these companies. Look at K'nex, LEGO should be honored they're using bricks now. After all those years of using their click system they switched to using(not all) bricks. It's flattering to me. They(as well as Hasbro/Kre-O) and other toy companies obviously see how well TLG has done in the years since almost being wiped off the market and want to get their piece of the pie.

Well, I bought the last of the Lotr line(9473, 9474). What a pain it was... I had this 20% off coupon. Deathleech mentioned that they were cheaper online, so I told the TRU employee about that. They price matched, all was good. Then the computer wouldn't take the coupon because they price matched... . So I used the coupon on 9474 Helms Deep and used the price match for 9473 Mines of Moria.

I think things are pretty clear as is now. There's a (few)dedicated threads for finds, people more often than not put "FS", "FT", or "WTB" or what have you. Your suggestion would make the sub forum a little cleaner in look though.

My new goal is saving for 10221 Super Star Destroyer. I'm about $100 in right now. I have a few purchases to make from S@H, then there's 10228 and 10229 coming out in a few months. That'll be another couple hundred points.

Saw Ice Age: Continental Drift yesterday. Great new cast of characters and lovable same cast. The story was pretty good and interesting.

That's interesting... I wonder how'd they would explain the price difference if I brought that to their attention...

Bought 9476 Orc Forge yesterday. Debating getting 9474 Helms Deep or 9473 Mines of Moria or both with the 20% coupon.

Can't be the whole years figs? That's not a lot of Marvel figs if that's the case. I'm guessing it's first half.

LotR isn't any cheaper at my local TRU than when they first came out. I've never seen or heard of them lowering the price after being released a while. It'd be nice if that were true though, 9474 Helms Deep is still $140...

Not bad. It seems empty, but that's the way it was. Maybe add the large mirror and that training dummy they used. Other than that, good build.

9476 Orc Forge

My hopes were slightly dashed when I saw this. With the thread title I thought I was going to behold a 'brick' brick home. Nonetheless, this is excellent. Your homes are always top notch and this is no exception. Your attention to detail in regards to interiors is great, so many cool things to look at. I love that staircase and it's nice to see one with an angle. The exterior has a nice look to it too. I like the red with the mix of dark and light grey.

Were getting closer. It's too bad were taking such little steps. Now we have the name and confirmation of item number. And a foggy description of it. I need more money!!

Hmm...what's to be made of the river of wheel hubs? Looks like a neat factory. I can't wait to see the outcome. This may not be SW, but the teaser shots are killing me!

I would really like to see some bigger size variation in the Modular line. Remember, 10190 Market Street does have a single story unit with it and it looks fine in line with the rest.

That's awesome, Hive! I loved the old soldiers sets and the one and only 2009 Pirates set I bought was 6242 Soldiers Fort. This would look pretty good next to that little port section in the Fantasy Era 7029 Skeleton Ship Attack.

For theme unity, 7189 Mill Village Raid would go well and bulk up the civilian buildings. Then throw 10223 Joust as the backdrop of the outer wall dividing the commoners and the kingdom. That would make for a great diorama. As far as same league as 10193 MMV, 10228 Haunted House I think will edge it out. Looking at the detail pictures, wow!

I wanna see a new RGS LEGO! We need more Phase 1 white clones!
