  1. Hi, I am in the UK and looking to trade a couple of Simpsons (series 13) figures with someone else in the UK if possible. I Have: Maggie Crusty Chief Wiggum I would like: Ned Ralf Homer Lisa Milhouse Thanks Andy
  2. I'm mainly focused on OT stuff as they are my favourite films and I am in the process of collecting elements for three big MOCs. I started with Hoth and bought everything I could find relating to it. I have Echo base 7879 (dismantled and used for parts and figures) at least three 7749s, a 7666 (used for parts and figures), four 75014 Battle of Hoths (I just had to have General Rieekan), the Wampa cave and loads of battle packs. My Echo base MOC also has three X wings and an MF with at least 2 At-Ats and a couple of At-Sts outside. I had planned to concentrate just on Hoth, but then i see random sets and think oh i have to have that, either for the figures of the look of the set. I'm planning a Docking Bay 94 scene so I have bought up things like Luke's landspeeder, the original Cantina, Droid escape and as many 'Sand troopers' as i can. I will be buying the new Cantina very soon and a shed load of tan bricks! I also got the Jabba's palace, Rancor Pit, two desert skiffs and will eventually get Jabba's sail barge to compliment this set up. For my Endor MOC I have the 8083 Battle of Endor and all the smaller Ewok /Endor battle packs etc. I hope to get the Ewok village soon too. This MOC is last on my list though at the moment, so isnt a priority. I also have random purchases of sets that dont relate to the bigger MOCs im doing, Like the Malevolance, Palpatine's arrest, battle on genosis. I just cant help myself sometimes I don't display anything at the moment as my girlfriend hates my lego obsession she has agreed to me having a Lego room though when we move house

  10. Awesome design! very impressive and the detailing is superb. Supported on Lego Ideas for you
  11. I got my set on Sunday as a Fathers day present and built it straight away with my 5year old daughter Great build, great play set too! it looks excellent with the minifig stand. She enjoyed the set so much that we sat and watched Ghostbusters together while she played withe the car My only question Marcos, is why are the suits not grey like the film?
  12. This is an awesome MOC. Size, scale and the detail are outstanding. Some really nice little touches too. Very well done!
  13. Thanks Mr Man, appreciate the comments! Hmmm, not sure if im doing this right, i'm new to the forum so followed the newbie instructions. I have taken the link of the pic from Flickr but of the smallest size pic, do I just need to take the link of a bigger picture? Thanks
  14. This is my first post about one of my MOCs, so please be gentle with me I am in the process of building a Battle of Hoth scene complete with giant Echo Base. Obviously no Hoth battle is complete without some At-Ats. I picked up a TLG 8129 and was't very impressed with it's size or how it looks really. I trawled the web for inspiration and discovered Cavegod's UCS At-At. Not having the money, time, patience or skill to copy this beast, I stumbled across Anio's At-At and bought the instructions from him. After several Bricklink purchases i was ready to start building. As my build progressed I knew I would want to make some changes to Anio's design, particularly with the size and interior of the head. I then discovered this thread http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=68782 where there is a lot of discussion about whether or not Anio's At-At is considered a 'UCS' At-At. In my opinion I see that my finished At-At will sit somewhere between TLG's and Cavegods in terms of scale, detail and representation of the actual film model. I will leave you to decide if you are of the same opinion I have made a few changes / adaptations to the original design. The key changes i have made so far are: - Changed the foot design - I didn't like the original mix of dark and light grey or the addition of the small levers by the 'toes' - Strengthened the neck - the head of the original just hangs on a Technic bar. This wouldn't support the extra size and weight in the head I wanted to add. - Head - completely updated. I changed the length and width so I could get more room inside. I have also changed the 'eyes' as I wanted to be able to see in to the At-At from outside. I know this doesn't look great, and the proportions are out compared to the movie original, its the best I could do though - Weapons - I have ignored the original weapon design underneath the head and on each side. I made mine look as much like the original as I could with the using the scale and pieces available to me - Interior - I didn't like the original seating arrangement that Anio built as it only held a handful of Snow Troopers. I couldn't get 40 seats in there, I am happy with what i managed to squeeze in. I have also added a winch arm to allow the troops to descend from the body - Rear detail - I wasn't happy with the 'rear end' of the original design and was completely blown away by the detail that Cavegod has managed. Again, my effort is somewhere in the middle I think Here are some WIP pics to show how I'm getting on: My Bricklink haul Body complete Anio's design First leg finished - Anio's leg, updated foot Underbelly - Anio's design My updated head Need to work on these gaps! Inside the head Underside Inside the body Downstairs with steps up to top hatch Updated rear end
  15. I built mine in about 4hours, great set to build with some nice touches. I have added a bit more detail to the interior of mine which is fun too. I have also updated the feet to look more like 10179 as the originals seem a bit lightweight to me. Have fun building
  16. WOW! I have nothing more to say.....
  17. Here are a few shots of my Hoth army:
  18. WOW! that was a great spot from the executive seeing Han spiral up and out

  22. Hi Eurobricks, my name is Andy and I have recently re-discovered my love of Lego and started an addiction to the Star Wars range I started by buying a number of sets that i liked the look of which quickly escalated in to collecting Star Wars minifigs and then in to building MOCs. I am in the process of building an Echo Base / battle of Hoth scene which i will post pictures of very soon. I stumbled across Eurobricks after buying Anio's At-At instuctions, then seeing his thread detailing his build. Very interesting reading At the moment I am in the process of finishing my version of the At-At based on Anio's original design. Pictures to follow shortly. Thanks for reading!
