Nausi sent them over to me, I'm hosting them on Flickr for now. Get them while you can. See all the images of the 2011 Pharoah's Quest line here: On Flickr Special thanks to Nausi who took pictures of the European retail catalog.

Collectible Minifigs: What's your favorite new part mold?
Tervlon replied to Rick's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Caveman hair and Spartan Helmet for me. Robot Helmet and Pop Star Hair are second. -
Wonderful MOC. This is amazing. I'm so glad you shared it. An inspirational build to be sure.

Very nice info to have. Thanks for doing this. I am surprised by what you found as well.

Wow, this is a theme I'd love to see. If done right it will scratch my Indi/PoP itch perfectly! The original Adventurers Egypt line was absolutely amazing.

I was really relieved when the hunt was over. I'm glad that we're starting to get a little more saturated on these. I can't wait til they are everywhere and I can add one or two to every purchase I make. Much more healthy than a candy bar! I don't regret buying a single one of these figs. They're all amazing. At $2 they are a steal. The quality thing is way overstated in this thread, imo. Yeah, we all wish they were made in the European plants but I'm willing to deal with these for the price. Plus, they look great. You can't tell the accessories are any different. The notable exception is the Zombie shovel. @Scop, I can help you dispose of a few Spartans! Really. :)

IJ is preferable, but PoP adds a lot of pieces we can use in IJ. I really did feel sad when IJ ended but PoP filled in nicely. BTW, I'm still really ticked we didn't get the IJ Tank from the Last Crusade!

Great review, thanks for going so in depth. The breakdown of the new molds was especially interesting. I'm a huge fan of this line without ever seeing the movie. I've been purposely stocking up on this line because I know I'll miss the parts when they're gone. The sales have indeed been great on these both at stores and online. Thanks to Barnes & Nobles coupons and BrickFair I got great deals on the bigger sets. DA x3 2@40% off tOR x1 FftD x2 1@40% off QaT x1 @50% off BoA x2 both @50% off PoP its been a great ride, I'll hate to see you go. For me it was a unique and new theme we hadn't ever seen that resulted in great colors, beautiful new parts (I love the Camel!), and the best selection of figures in any licensed theme (even Indy & SW, imo).

Allied Avenger (set 6887) from the Blacktron II series

Indeed a great set! Really digging the miniaturization of a wonderfully nostalgic model. Great job. -
How do you guys with big collections take time to sort?
Tervlon replied to wolfwing's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have an unsorted bin that when I have a few minutes here or there (like when I'm waiting for my wife, etc) I'll dip an empty cup in and sort through it and repeat. Its 5 min here or there and it really helps in the long run. I'll do long marathon sorts from time to time but I try to keep things organized as I go to avoid that. Truly the key is a little at a time. Sorting by set or MOC or PAB cup, etc -

LEGO® Inside Tour - The Ultimate Experience For LEGO Fans!
Tervlon replied to toyboxglobal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, I've heard this too. A guy and his son in our LUG went on this tour and came back with a bunch of certain rare elements. I think they were allowed 20-50 elements each or something like that. -
Minifg collectors series 2 pics and barcodes
Tervlon replied to Superkalle's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As far as I know, but i don't know the layout of the European boxes, in the US all three Spartans are usually on the right hand column in a new case. Thats where I found my 3. -
World class MOC! Thanks for detailing the problems you encountered during the build and how you solved them. The back/underside greebling is wonderful.

If you get a case, you'll get 3 sets. -
Thanks! Chair prices are indeed high but I never knew until after I started building in this style. Luckily I found a box full at the LEGO store. You can fit about 330 in a LG. Pick A Brick Cup if you do it right. The 340 brown ones I have are just waiting for me to use them. I am super lucky, in the DC area we have 4 LEGO stores within an hour in each direction, 2 clubs (WAMALUG & WAMALTC) and BrickFair every year. For a LEGO fan this is the best place in the world, IMO.

Wow, very cool. A solid and original build. The cockpit is great. The color scheme reminds me of my childhood, everything was red and black! Great colors.

Thanks. It was up towards the front almost to the vendor tables. It was placed on a table with a bunch of Micro Space creations like that amazing circular space station. I had it with the Space creations but there wasn't a lot of Micro Space and it felt lonely, so I moved it over with friends. :)

Supply shipping in the outer planets is always under threat of attack. With warlords, pirates, and sinister enemies from the surrounding sectors it is essential that a new ship be brought into service. Launching this week, the InterSystem Defense Service is proud to bring the cruiser Prosperity online to protect interstellar trade and project power to the depths of space. Armed with dozens of blasters, flak cannons, laser cannons, and missile launchers the Prosperity will make all enemies flee. I've been getting into Micro Space lately and brought a couple of my creations to BrickFair 2010. My favorite was constructed in July using a cup full of red minifig chairs I picked up at the LEGO PAB. The build was very well received and really stood out with its red hull. What turned out of a feverish build was the cruiser Prosperity. The Prosperity is about 20-25 inches long. To create the long smooth hull curve I placed chairs in SNOT position along side each other. In all 188 chairs were used, 186 Red and 2 Black. Besides dozens of chairs there are dozens of jumper plate to hold the ship together. Please let me know what you think! QFT. Subjective value makes all the difference. It matters to all of us just as much as to the 10 year old, I mean I'm not army building pop singers either. Though my wife REALLY likes the singer especially with a pixie cut using the skater or surfer's hair. But that is neither here nor there... However, I do think that the Spartan is the most expensive of the figs for LEGO to produce. Hence the lower quantity. That is merely speculation based on the big and gold helmet, rubberized spear and cloth cape. But who knows.

Walked into target to get myself a Frisbee (Ultimate, Woot!) and found 7037 Tower Raid on the shelf! I grabbed it and looked at it, it was in PERFECT condition. Scanning it resulted in the predictable 'Not in the system' result. They ended up giving it to me for $16.48. 50% off the MSRP a year ago. So yeah, I grabbed it! I wasn't going to buy any LEGO since I'll be at LEGOLAND California this next week but that was a screaming deal. 2 Crownies, 3 Orcs, and great colors of pieces (dark brown and metallic speckled black) rendered me useless to resist. I suppose it was a lucky return or a random one that had been in the back, either way I'm not complaining. And why has my target not marked PoP sets down yet? Crazy.
-
THIS. This is my biggest pet peeve. Why do I have to go to the LEGO Store on the first day these are out to find them? That is craziness! If I don't go the first day I won't EVER see them again. I'm fortunate to have a set plus a few extras, but I'd love to add a couple to every LEGO purchase over the next few months. The stress and strain to get these is a major pain and is very discouraging. The experience to find these figs is miserable. I was dreading the second round. Hopefully the 3rd round is widely distributed to every imaginable locale.

Nice review. I think its a bit too expensive for me. I saw it at the LEGO store in Tyson's Corner, VA last night for $39.99. The axe in the Black Smith set up looks like it has writing on the blade, am I seeing things?

Wahoo! I have mine, but the fact that they are so hard to find and sell out so quickly really bothers me. 3x Spartan 3x Mime 2x Pop Star 2x Pharoah 2x Mexican 2x Karate Master 1x Explorer 1x Surfer 1x Skier 1x Witch 1x Vampire 1x Weight Lifter 1x Ringmaster 1x Life Guard 1x Disco Stu 1x Highway Patrol
