Still can't wait to have confirmation on the figures from the republic tank. If it's movie style Bly and Alya then it's an instant buy, otherwise probably not.

And both the original model and the UCS one just had the dome like the movie and looked fine.

That Y wing, naboo duel, and landspeeder seem slightly too cheap for their minifig/piece count, I would bet on $80 and $25 for them.

$500 in 2007 is $582 today, so hopefully it's not more than $600

I would love if they reintroduced it with updates and new figs, now that I have a job I can pick one up! Hopefully they don't give it the 75159 treatment and jack up the price 25% for a few extra pieces though.

Your updated fuselage makes it look much better! Great work so far. Actually would it be possible to remake the area around the windscreen on top with flat plates instead of the curved slope pieces you have now? Here you can see that it's very angular and flat with no curved areas.

Wouldn't they just reuse the Obi Wan from 75021 republic gunship? Also I love that the tank is much smaller and more to scale with battlefront.

I hope it's a UCS Venator, we are beyond due for one of those. I can't think of any other more important ship that doesn't have a UCS version. Besides maybe an A-wing.

Now I'm disappointed it's not that. Probably would have been too perfect though. I'm just happy it's not two stormtroopers and two different officers or something.

What minifigs would they include? Or would they just repeat ones we already have like Bohdi? Maybe a Galen Erso and a regular stormtrooper, but that's a bit of a stretch.

I snagged the tydirium on Amazon when it was momentarily $70, felt pretty happy with that. And man Lego has really stepped up their build quality with these sets, much more solidly built than older ones. And the minifigs look fantastic.

When I get this set I'm going to probably end up totally rebuilding it so the interior matches the movie, where the troop compartment and pilots are all in one big open space, and the pilots can see clearly through the bottom windshield.

Finally an OT battle pack where I want all the figures! I love that it is just stormtroopers and deathtroopers. And the rebel one coming out too looks great, just 4 regular rebel soldiers. Perfect for army building.

To be fair Lego didn't know that it would be pretty much completely cut from the final movie. The sets came out months before the movie.

Are we getting any more Rogue One ships in 2017 that aren't microfighters?

How much longer is the UCS Slave 1 going to be around? I could get it now, but I'd much rather budget around getting it in 6 months or so.
