  1. My son pointed that out to me yesterday too. Funny that. LOL.
  2. Flash is ready. Hope you like it. BTW it seems the links I'm posting suffer some degradation(in terms of image quality), but going direct to the Photobucket album seems to be fine?
  3. Don't see why not? This version?
  4. I appreciate that thanks. :) So do most folks use waterslide decals printed at home or are there other ways?
  5. I couldn't help it. I had to start this one. LOL!
  6. Mirror Master. Figured I'd stick with a Flash theme after seeing the trailer for the new series.
  7. Power Girl is done.
  8. LOL! Yeah, I figured they'd be easy enough to recolour in MSPaint or Photoshop. :)
  9. Thanks mate. I've started a Powergirl(I have daughters too) so made a base for the male and female torso to reuse.
  10. Thanks very much! It's based on the recent Flashpoint Paradox movie.
  11. Morning all, After reading some threads here and downloading some of the amazing custom decals available, I thought it only fair that i share my own efforts as and when I create them for others to use. I'm new to this so would appreciate any tips or input if there's something I need to keep in mind. I figured I'd try using waterslide decals done on my home printer to see how it turned out. My son and I love DC comics so we already collect the sets where we can but we really wanted to make a Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash so here's my first offering: I used a template available here and went from there after moving some parts around for better printing. Hope you like, I'll add more as I go, thanks.
  12. This has been a great thread to follow. I'll be showing this to my son tomorrow, I just know his jaw is gonna drop!
  13. Many thanks mate. :)
  14. I think it's fair to like or dislike something. With things of this nature there will always be divided opinions. I love the idea of customising to make something "your own", especially if the subject matter is not available officially. It's something I am drawn to personally. That said I can totally see why people feel strongly about preserving the pure/official parts. I guess it depends on the reason for customising and the way it's done?
  15. Just seen these and as others have said, "WOW!!". Very cool mate.
  16. Anything acrylic based is good. I use various brands depending on the desired finish really. Though sufficient time to harden (not just dry) is important as well as a good sealer/clear coat.
  17. Hi there folks. I just signed up and thought I should say "Hi". I've always loved Lego since my own childhood, but I have a son who's also a crazy fan. Thanks to him we're both looking to make some custom figures to expand his collection as well as my own I guess. There's a ton of info here so I had to join to learn more. I'm pretty handy with graphics so would probably post any new decal images here too. Anyway, off to read more threads!! See ya soon, Andy.
