Warlen looks amazed at Linds knowledge, but says nothing. Turning to Germ, he says, "Cool. Lord knows we need more heroes now..." OOC: Wow. Never would I have expected you too awnswer.

Warlen nodded to Lind, then said "Nga hau e wha e makere I Aku hoa, tukuna hoki kia rere." He turned back to Lind. "When the next list of sign ups is pinned onto the QuestBoard, We'll try to recruit some More heroes." Ooc: On case you are wondering, that first in-character sentence is in Maori.

OOC: All heroes level 5-16 can join. He then replied to Germ, "Well, that was in case we are chosen quite soon. Look, I'll ask Lind and you ask Throlar if they want to be party leader." Warlen smiled sadly, nodded to her and walked back to the QuestBoard. He removed his old note, then updated it with this: Suggested party for the fields of glory. Warlen grinned. "Leeches, Demons, Bats and Butterflies? Besides, none of them would be any match for a good hit from anyone in our team... Exept for, like, ultra hard enemies."

As it seemed as if Annie had not heard, Warlen asked again, blushing slightly, if she would like to join the Fields Of Glory team.

Before Warlen could begin his story, Quarion butted in and began to talk, leaving Warlen lookin annoyed. "Long ago, and by long I mean 3 years ago, Warlen was still living with his kind, and I was still... living. I was a rouge, who had come to the kingdom of the elves to help them defeat a dragon, by the name of Nebulae. I was bored for the first few days, so I wandered the forest, and it was by the river Darguill that I met Warlen Melimane. He was practicing his forest Magic, and we soon became friends. On the day when I was deemed to fight Nebulae, the great dragon burned me with dark flame from the pits of hell, scarring me and setting in motion events that no Elven cleric could heal without corrupting themselves. And so up came Warlen, a young Elven mage back then, and he cast a spell that meant I would live... with both reward and price. The reward? I was alive, and without my body, my mind could think freely, therefore allowing me to be amazingly intelligent. The Price? I was reduced to a floating, flaming head, and stripped of my Rougish powers. But Warlen paid a far worse price. The darkness corrupted him and his staff, so that now he is a practitioner of dark Magyk, against his will." As Quarion talked, Warlen walked over to Annie. Waiting for a break in the conversation, he asked if she would like to Join our fields of glory team.

Oh, all. Sorry, I didn know it was all combatants. I took "Anyone" to mean you could choose any player.

So, do they take a turn E.G: Warlen uses the shackles of war on (Aplicable player.) Or is it applied before the battle?

Warlen blushed slightly. "Her? Oh, I don't want to bother her... although, the more the merrier, I guess..." Desperate to change the subject, he drew out his weapon, the Gold plated bat staff. Warlen snapped off a finger, then nodded at Lind and offered him an arm. "Open to suggestions."

Warlen dawdles back over to the Bar boredly, pondering who knows what, and sits down. After asking Quarion what he wants, he proceeds to order a Man-Sized gingerbread man. As he snaps of pieces of the huge cookie, he gazes boredly round the hall, desperate for someone to talk to.

Warlen nodded to Lind, then walked over to the QuestBoard and pinned up a hastily drawn note. Prepared party for the Fields of Glory: Warlen Melimane (And by default Quarion.), mage. The Demon Germ, rouge. Vindsval Half-Born, cleric. Lind Whisperer, rouge. Throlar Wingheim, knight. Team subject to change if any hero is chosen for Quest.

"Well, Germ and Vindsval are over there", he said, motioning to their table, "And Throrlar alsi signed up and meets the... requirements. You and me would round out the team to 5 members: 2 Rouges, A mage, A knight, and A cleric."

Warlen decides not to meet the two new heroes, and instead walks over to Lind Whisperer. "Hello. I'm Warlen Melimane, the mage who Z-Mailed you about the F.O.G. team. I presume you are still interested in joining us?"

Warlen nods to Nur as he eats, then, when the contest is concluded, he motions to Germ to follow him, and then follows Vindsval to his table, waiting for a moment to introduce himself.

Warlen motioned to his friends to pause, then ordered 90 chicken drumsticks on 3 seperate plates. "Ok, my friends. Let's have an eating contest. You have 90 seconds and 30 drumsticks each. How many can you eat? Sorry Quarion, you'll have to sit this one out." Ooc: RULES FOR EATING CONTEST: Each player rolls the dice 5 times (Max score 30.). Add all the scores together, that is your total drumsticks eaten. BONUS RULE: If you get 10 or less, you may get an extra roll. Repeat until you score is above 10. Please don't cheat.
