Right, I just thought magic was all Ether-Activated things. And alrighty then, I'll try remember next time.

Here is my mockup of a new L30 class. It still needs finetuning and to be brushed up on a couple of small details, but I'm pretty happy with it. Elemental These dedicated mages have mastered control of the four elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Additional Heath: +8 Additional Ether: +8 Weapons: Elementals can utilise any weapons other than barbarians weapons, provided they are imbued with one of the four elements. They can also wield daggers and staffs. Job Traits: Specialised Scrolls-All scrolls whose effect includes one of the 4 elements has a 2/3 chance of success instead of a 1/2 chance, Manipulation-Elementals can manipulate the 4 elements outside of battle to put out Fire, halt Water, tunnel through Earth and calm the Air. Battle style: True elemental- Elementals can cast spells of all kinds, but are particularly proficient with the Fire, Water, Earth and Air, the 4 "true" elements. 1. Shield: Natural forces-The Elemental casts a powerful spell, drawing power from nature itself, and attacks an enemy with 3 times its weapon power added to its level (WP:15x3+30=75 elemental). Additionally, if the element is one of the 4, the attack will also deal: Fire-Weakened, Water-Asleep, Earth-Stunned, Air-Fragile. If ether is depleted, nothing happens. If no gem was chosen, one is chosen at random. 2. Nature's Anger: The Elemental deals damage equal to 3 times it's weapon power added to its level. If using one of the 4 elements, it deals damage equal to 4 times its weapon power added to its level. 3. Nature's annoyance: The Elemental deals damage equal to 2 times it's weapon power added to its level. If using one of the 4 elements, it deals damage equal to 3 times its weapon power added to its level. 4. Elemental Affinity: The Elemental is struck by the opponents attack. If it is imbued with one of the 4 elements, the Elemental redirects it at the attacker. 5. Damage: The Elemental is struck by the opponents attack. 6: Special Damage: The Elemental is struck by the opponents Special skill. If the skill affects all enemies and uses two of the 4 elements, the Elemental selflessly protects the others from the attack, making it affect only him. Thoughts?

Does the Scroll of antimagic (from the Decamon tournament) prevent healing, or just attacks?

Warlen continued his pursuit of Scrolls by walking over to the Necromancer. "Hey. I was wondering if you would be interested in me purchasing that Scroll of antimagic? I currently have 165 gold. How does 125 now sound, and an extra 65 later?"

Warlen chuckle at the small dragon, then replied: "I'm not an elf. Only half of me is. What do you think, is it my left half?" He moved to show the Dragon. "Or my Right half?" He began to move, but fell to the ground in a heap. "Nimztic quarkell..." As he got up, he nodded to the heroes that were watching him, and walked out of the hall. -------------------------------------------------- When he returned, he stood in the doorway and revealed his new look.

"Right, of course," said Warlen hastily. A smile slipped onto his face. "Scroll mage of heroica, eh? Watch out, amigo, because you've got a competitor." Warlen thumped his staff on the ground, and the shadows drew in on him, before he disappeared. "Dammn it..." came a cry from above. If a hero was to look up, they would see Warlen hanging from a chandelier.

Warlen stepped back over to the conversing friends, tapping the Man on the shoulder. "Ummmm... Mr Scary looking Dragoon, sir, I was wondering how much would you like for your Scroll of poisoning?" Warlen grinned sheepishly at the much experienceed hero, hoping he was up for selling it.

Warlen sells his Marauders Mantle, Spellbound gloves and Robe of the Magi for a total of 310. 270+310=580. Then, he purchases Magicians Gloves and an Ethereal Cloak for 370. 580-370=210. Then, he goes on to purchase a Tonic, Mead, and a Smelling Salts for 45. 210-45=165. He concludes his purchases with a 30 gold Magnifying Glass. 165-30=135.

"Thank you, ma'am," said Warlen, leaving the 60 gold on the bench next to her. Then he turned to the Necromancer and waited for an answer.

Warlen walked over to the woman polishing a formidable looking sword. "Hello, Ma'am. I couldn't help noticing that you have a scroll of sleep poking out of your backpack. I was wondering if you might be interested in selling it? Let's see... would 60 gold be enough?"

Warlen signs up for Quests #124 and #125. The he adds a note saying that "I'd rather help a poor child than an ex-singer, if it makes a difference."

Warlen struts confidently into the hall, before pinning up a note to the QuestBoard: Satisfied, he signs up for quest #122. Then, he sits down by the bar, waiting for someone to talk to and looking with interest at the Prophet.

Warlen nods to the ladies. "Annie-Mal, Mighty-One, it's been a pleasure questing with you. See you both back in the hall." Ooc: Never gonna become a cannoneer, but there is a small possibility of me becoming a Chi Monk. I'll have Ji-Pei rep please. Thanks Sandy for an awesome quest. I really enjoyed this (blah, blah, I'll post in the QM lounge).

Weaken stares Fogfarer straight in the eye. "Could you do it?" he asks softly. "Could you really murder another in cold blood? What if the tables were turned, if your lover was held by one of the many traitors in Heroica? They wouldn't hesitate, would they? But I think you're better than that. What are you, Meliodoul. Killer... or are you better than that." Warlen's face darkened. "I've seen it happen to others. It's happened to me. And I will not let it happen again!", he shouted, banging his fist onto a desk. He took a deep breath. "...is it what your lover would want?.."

"Well, Mr Blackgull, we didn't so much prove that he didn't as that someone else did. At least, that's my understanding, right guys?" lied Warlen.

As soon as the three heroes were out of hearing range, Warlen spoke. He didn't turn his head or stop walking, he just spoke. "So, mighty leader, what's the plan? Snitch on Bullsworths kids, or stay quiet to 'defend his honour'?" He then braced himself, not for Annienal's inevitable indecision, but for Miderun's inevitable outburst of "What? Are you klyzark?"

Warlen stayed quiet. He had had experience with the Wolfgang, but that Assasin had been a singular case. No, he'd stay quiet unless he needed to pipe up.

Hallowe'en event, maybe?

No particular goals for Warlen, but I have a few quest ideas, one of which I'm working on now. The most likely one that I'll complete is one involving the "Wairua Hononga", which is Māori for "Connected spirits. The second, third, and maybe even fifth quest involve battles with Vampires, Centaurs, Skeletons, Humans, Wolves, GODS and to top it all off, an evil wizard. The last is a vague idea of stopping a takover under the sea. Not really fleshed out yet. Happy new year, all!

And dual strike! How do you get Dual strike and ignores row/SP?

I have to go on a Duplovia quest, I need a hollow blade for my staff. So, what other ways can you specialise a weapon? Mythril, Admanite, Hollow blade, Deals *effect*, and ____ elemental. Is that it, or did I miss something?

This made me laugh approximately 10 times harder than a normal person.
