They mentioned there was a secret cutscene in the Club magazine to follow-up the one shown when all the story levels are completed, so I don't think that's it...
-
I don't think you can get 100% unless you have everyone up to wave 5, so I don't think so...
-
In other news, I was perusing the Club magazine today and saw that there's a special cutscene once you attain 100%... Since Wave 5 is out today, has anyone been able to get this? It may give the best look at the future of Dimensions, or at least a hint...

Totally agree with this. In the show, he has such a neat color scheme as well! Shame we won't be getting a large one anytime soon... -

Neat! Did they say what it is supposed to represent? -
So sorry! Checked now and got them. I only use Flickr mail for talking to you so I forgot to check. Thank you!

My only justification is that the kids forgot parts of the script as they were saying it, hence the inaccuracies, and LEGO just went with it.- 4,591 replies

Lego Ninjago 2016

It's not actually a lot of digging; the pics should be easy to find on any site without the leaked pics policy... -
Nooooo! E3 exclusive??? Darn, was really looking forward to that!

Well, both Nadakhan and Sqiffy were there, but I agree Dogshank played a greater role. It would be nice to get her in another set... -
Huh! You see something new every day. I do recall that Mark Stafford interview where he mentioned the second wave, but had never seen pics before. Thanks for sharing!

The way I see it, if they reference Gen 1 in any way, it would be a brief easter egg near the end of the year, if the Toa are getting glimpses of other alternate universes and a brief flash of Gen 1 is shown. I know some people have said that it wouldn't really work, but an example of this is in the DC TV show The Flash, where, if you don't watch it, the titular character is getting a glimpse of other worlds and sees a version of the Flash from an older show a few years ago. It didn't have a huge implication in the story, it was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it type easter egg, but it was there to pay homage to what came before. That would be the kind of Gen 1 reference I'd like.

Here you go... It looks a tad odd, though. Not sure if I did it right.

Lego Ninjago 2016

Just saw the cave. Not bad indeed! I actually really like it, although I'm not sure what the make of the mech. Went looking for pics expecting grainy camera snaps of retailer catalogues, got a really nice, relatively clear image of the box art and the set itself. Needless to say I'm surprised but happy. -
Lego Ninjago 2016

Seems really accurate based on the description. In the show, the entrance is a giant skeleton head (looks like a saber-soother tiger) that swings open at the press of button. People can enter through the mouth down a ram to the cave, which has a large television screen and many mechs on display. Looking forward to it! -
It would be awesome if someone made Zoom decals from the CW Flash TV show... Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! Sadly, there's already an obvious mistake - the Temple of Light's photo in the book's set gallery is incorrect - it displays the dojo from the first year, not the actual set. -
Hey everyone! I've recently been testing out some really basic minifigure customization techniques and have a question for you all. I am trying to make a Reverse-Flash minifigure (among others) and haver already applied decals to the torso and rubbed the yellow out of the normal Flash cowl to make it all read (and touched up remaining yellow specs with red Sharpie). What I'm stumped with is how I would make the rest of the cowl (the area excluding the lightning bolts) all yellow. I was considering paint but I'm not sure how well that would hold up on the rubber element. I've seen others do it before and was wondering if you guys had any tips on specific paint or other methods I could use. Thanks for helping me out on what is pretty much my very first customization job ever. Thanks so much! legozebra

It's an odd split wave - the lighthouse, Kryptarium Prison, Lloyd's Dragon, and maybe the Airjitsu Battle Grounds (The name's too ambiguous to decide either way) are all part of the Skybound wave, while the rest are Rise of the Villains.- 4,591 replies

Oh yes, I'm putting together a fun graphic :)

Kinda makes sense, although I've really tried not to remember any details of the MOCs, and the only time I see them is when I get them in a PM. Then they're stored in a folder on my desktop and never looked at again, and I give myself 4-5 days without MOCing to "forget" it. :) That being said, I was thinking about it and maybe we can just end with whoever signs up last...
-
Sounds good! I was thinking that maybe I would finish it, as I started it, but if you want to go again, be my guest! I'd love for you to do a second MOC, then I'll go after you and finish.
-
Sounds great! I'll put you in.

Yes! In case you aren't familiar with the rules, you have the build a MOC based on the latest description (by me on the front page of this topic and pasted here for ease of reading) by Tuesday next week. PM me the MOC picture and post a description up in the thread of your new MOC. The next person will do the same with your description. Sound good? I'll put you down! Build a MOC based on this description: "A neon green, snakelike Rahi with a dragon-like head and spiked protruding from its body. Two pairs of skeletal wings protrude from its body."
