Studied chemistry, got a PhD form the University of Kiel Germany

Spent some years in Southern California (UCI)

Since 2001 back in Germany - at the University of Wuppertal as Professor of Physical Chemistry

Playing with LEGOs since 1965 (first set was the LEGO train #323)
