  1. This is great, Duke! Normally I dislike the mix of greys and bleys, but it doesn't look too bad at all in this MOC. The landscape is very cool, as is the tower, and the fact that it is removable to have a better look around makes it even better. I look forward to seeing more Castle MOCs from you! (Oh, and your Storming of Bastille is very cool too. ) ~Peace

    Gift Island

Luckily the auto-resizer did it's job before I got to the page! This is awesome, Eilif. Your whole street is looking fantastic, and I love the interchangeableness of it all. (Yes, that is a word. ) Great job, looking forward to seeing more! ~Peace
  3. These are great, SirNadroj! I went hunting for reference pics and found a line of action figures based on one of the comic series, and these figs were spot on! Fantastic job! ~Peace
  4. Another fantastic addition, Sandy! The scenery is fantastic, and it's great that there's nothing out of place in any of the shots, it really adds to the fun of it. Rod is hilarious, I like how you've developed the characters, story and scenery all at once! Ingenius ideas for mushrooms too, I can't believe I never thought of that before. It's great that this chapter came so early, looking forward to the next one! ~Peace
  5. Woo! Rock Raiders! Only the best theme ever! (That's right, possibly even better than Castle `07!) Cheers for the review metalandi, hopefully you can inspire others to see the greatness of Rock Raiders too! I love how everything was so simple, yet so effective. It was loads of fun to play with and build the alternate models when I was younger as well (and probably still is ). Do you plan of doing any other reviews? Or do you have any other sets? Rapid Rider is another great small one, adding a bit of diversity with a water-based vehicle, and you get the Bandit minifig. Or you could get The Rock Raiders set, and get all of our spelunking friends (don't make me name them all ). Or, if you want a slightly bigger set, Loader Dozer could be the way to go, Axle's a pretty cool minifig too, and you get a rock monster. Sorry if the last comments were detracting from your review, don't think I didn't like it, becuase it was great! I really hope you can do more! Oh, and yes, my torso does come from a female fig... ~Peace
  6. (OOC: Ah, the innuendo is flooding the Castle forum these days. ) L7: Dragon's Keep, Adym's workshop. Adym was still tinkering away, he was nearing completion, though he was exhausted. It had been quite a few days, he would eat when he was hungry and sleep when he was tired, regardless of the time of day. It didn't matter down in the bowels of the Keep. This was another of those tired times. Adym thought it was best to get some sleep, preferably in his bed this time instead of on a mat in the work-shop. It would probably be good to let Dragonator know he was nearly done, too. So, with a yawn, Adym made his way up the many stairs in search of Lord Dragonator (hmm... King Dragonator? That'll take some getting used to. ).
  7. Woo! Yeah, Disturbed is coming to Aussie and New Zealand, and I really really really really really want to go see them. So much I didn't even use commas just then, and I'm not one for skimping on grammar. Yay for you too! Oh yes, and P.O.D will also be performing with Disturbed, as well as Alter Bridge and Redline. I actually have no idea who those last two bands are. ~Peace
  8. Hahaha! Good one Doctor S! You know, I'm pretty sure I have an off-road reconnaissance platform rusting in the garage somewhere... ~Peace
  9. Thank you. So much. So very, very much. This is in my opinion most definately the best set, it just screams awesome. Though that could be my unnatural love for orange and fire. I studied the online instructions which have horrible colouring and are nothing compared to these great pics. Thanks again, svelte_corps. So much. ~Peace
  10. Let's see. I've been playing Half-Life 2 Ep 2, but it's no fun after you clock it. No fun unless you have magic codes! npc_create npc_metropolice is my favourite as it just spawns an enemy where your crosshair is pointing who can't do anything. Great for target practice and testing out your weapons. It's also a lot of fun to give them shotguns and stick them on some roof, then spawn some zombies and watch them duel. Ahem. Anyway, I've currently been playing the game Mount&Blade, a great medieval game, perfect for my love of Castle. Inspiring for Lego models too. Of course today my mates are coming over and we'll be doing a bit of LANing, so I guess games I'll be playing then will be Unreal Tournament Fortress (U4e), Dawn of War: Soulstorm, apparently some Motocross Madness 2 ( , not a fan of racers...) and Unreal Tournament 2004. Oh, and of course Unreal Tournament 3. We're big fans of the Unreal series. ~Peace
  11. Wow, I'm a genius. I was so excited about the new banner I didn't even realise that it was Harley. I can't wait 'till that Advent Calendar comes out. ~Peace
  12. I would be happy to answer any questions you have for me, Father.
  13. Does anyone else want to know where the Jester from the normal EB banner came from? This is what I'm talking about. ~Peace
  14. 42, not just the answer to everything, but Life, The Universe and Everything. ~Peace
  15. Sounds like something I would say. I'm getting a bit worried about the people who aren't showing up. First the Friar, and now Sprinkles. I hope they're alright... Especially Sprinkles...
  16. Well, this has all been very interesting. Where is the Friar by the way? I haven't seen him 'round.
  17. Oop. That was a Freudian slip, I got myself confused. Let me assure you, just to avoid confusion, I am not a traitor. However, if you see fit to punish me for my actions, then there is little I can do to stop you. I see no reason for you not to condemn me to death except for the fact that I am a loyalist, and the majority of you by now must be traitors. All I can hope is that us remaining loyalists can trust my word, although that could be difficult, I know. The only way you can be sure I am a loyalist, I assume, is by killing me, and I don't want that to happen, at least not until we have rid this place of a few more traitors to even the numbers out. I confessed when I did because I didn't want to hold it in any longer, that would just make it all the more suspicious. I thank you who have not voted for me, it gives hope that there are loyalists out there with their priorities set straight.
  18. Okay... Batbrick got my vote for best MOC, because I just love that temple. svelte_corps got my vote for best story, because I liked it, I thought it was clever and unique, and I like all the play features in his MOC, so that adds bonus points. For the oddest MOC, I really didn't want to vote for SlyOwl, because it was undoubtedly the most odd MOC of the bunch and I figured he'd get a lot of votes anyway. So I wanted to consider others, such as SirNadroj. I mean, a golden ant is pretty odd, and cool IMO. However it's still an actual plausible idea, it just wasn't odd enough for me. So, SlyOwl, you take the cake for oddest MOC. Congratulations you three, and everyone else for entering! ~Peace
  19. (OOC: Hehehe, innuendo... ) Oh, what a terrible occasion! Why WhiteFang, er, Grim?! My fellow Castle-goers, I have been keeping a terrible secret, and I feel I can't hold it in any more. You may know, near the end of Day III, Mike the servant launched terrible accusations at me, accusing me of being a traitor. I, General Spencer, am of course as loyal to our Kingdom as the good Lord Dragonator himself! (Okay, perhaps not the best example, seeing as he keeps killing off innocents...) Still, I took great offence to this accusation, and retired to my quarters turning to the bottle for comfort. Under the influence, I made the worst misjudgement of my life, and, fuelled with the poison of alcohol and rage against Mike, I went after him, and killed him, as I was sure he was a traitor. The small piece of yellow fabric with a black strip along one edge came form my cape, here. It is with a heavy heart I say this to you, as I know I will probably not make it through the night. It is all I can do to assure you that I am a loyalist, and I have no intention of picking up a bottle or going after anyone in the night, not after last time. Let it be known that you could kill me, but that would just rid us of another traitor. I beg you to give me another chance, we really don't need any more loyalists down for the count. And killing off me would let another traitor off the hook for another day. So please, let us try to find the real traitors. I understand though, if you don't see me fit to stay in your presence. Now, if you'll all excuse me, I have to pay a visit to the Friar, I have some confessing to do to him.
  20. This is awesome, Majek! You may say this one's simple, but I think it's my favourite of the lot! I love the SNOT base you've built on, Django's done fantastically IMO with a clever name to go with. The Kamino, er, Domino walkway is great, reminiscent of the movie and still fitting with the medieval style. Django's jet-pack is done well also, great job! ~Peace
  21. Wow! They're wonderful! Thanks for this great review Alex, these were the best kind of Castle sets! (Well, actually, I am a big fan of Castle 07/08, so I'll be debating that issue with myself now... ) ~Peace
  22. Wow! Now this is cool, so sleek, so SNOTy, so able to storm down an enemy street crushing all who oppose it! I want one. ~Peace
  23. Hmm. Good topic, The Brickster. My most desired minifigs from the H&A theme would have to be... The Dragon Knight captain from this set (part of a value pack, it came with a small pirate set as well). I definately want want of those Forestmen (or was that Dark Forestmen?) guys with the black feather. And lastly, well, who doesn't want a ninja? Ninjas were definately up there on my favourite themes list. Right up there with Rock Raiders and Castle '07. So add a black ninja to my most desired figs list. ~Peace
  24. That's a neat vignette, the stud on his hand is a great way of showing the glow of the force. However, I strongly suggest you resize those pics, people on slower computers might not want to wait for the pics to load. Here's a tutorial by ApophisV is you need help in resizing. ~Peace
  25. That thing is amazing! I mean, wow! Just wow! Can't wait to see the final model. ~Peace
