  1. Okay, if this were the first review of the set, I'd understand your want to reserve a thread for your review, but seriously, there are already reviews out there. Couldn't you have just waited at least until you had actually built the thing, or even better, until the review was actually done? Sorry if I'm being to harsh but I'm quite sick of these "Blablabla Set Review - Will be up soon...". It's getting quite annoying. ~Peace
  2. But it does look awesome. It's like a mini plasma globe plate. ~Peace

Well... it doesn't look very finished. I'd love to see it when it's done. ~Peace
  4. Another great chapter Sandy! The area you photograph in is chosen well. For example, in the first one the wood surface could be interpreted as dirt and dust, and the grey wall was the distance or something. The second one was fine as well, and the third one had a green towel for grass, which was great, see? However, in a couple of shots, namely this one, the background 'gets in the way' of the MOC, or is rather obviously there, it kind of detracts from the feeling of the story. Other than that it's a great story, with awesome buildings and characters, and I'm happily looking forward to the next one! ~Peace
  5. I love this, Vadim! It looks great, is super articulate (looking :grin), and it's a dragon! What more could I ask for? So far, I'm liking all you Castle stuff. ~Peace
  6. Great job here, Vadim! I love the framework design of the catapult, as well as the separate basket for ammunition and the fact it's drawn by horses, all these make this all the more realistic and all the more cooler! ~Peace
  7. That's what we've been doing all this time. He was just pointing out there's no actual proof yet, which is good, as people should know that. There is however, good evidence that we will be getting Elves, it continues the fantasy theme, it would fit in well, and there was that picture of an elf and an area called Elflands in the map of the castle world. ~Peace
  8. Okay, so really, what you're saying, is to get a sharp object, and force it through a torso you make a hole to stick rods through. Yep, that's called customisation. You don't really need the specific object, any sharp, pointy thing will do really. Good job anyway, not really my thing, but I'm sure others will try this out. ~Peace
  9. That's okay, the wicked pool table makes up for it. ~Peace
  10. I'm hungry now. Great job so far everyone. I plan to build and enter my entry soon. At the last minute. ~Peace
  11. Ah, touché. Actually I had just found out what dais meant and wanted to use it somewhere, and I saw the opportunity and took it. ~Peace
  12. No price change in NZ. Maybe you were really actually getting them cheap, and they've put the prices up to what they should be. ~Peace
  13. I forgot to mention a while ago that I picked up 5 of the Troll Impulse sets. They're really great for army building, that's for sure, and the parts selection isn't bad. Good for making a bunch of carts if you don't want a bunch of flick-fire crossbows. Te flick-fire missile pieces actually make great burning torches with the addition of a flame piece. ~Peace
  14. Great job here, SlyOwl. The colours you've chosen are perfect, the scene itself is very post-Apoc. Great job on the cooking device, the gore is as always wonderful, and the little dog is an awesome addition, I'll have to steal that design. The Walrus turtle is also an interesting touch. ~Peace
  15. Great job here SirNadroj! Very creative, great build, unique, that's for sure, and it really looks like a lot of fun! ~Peace
  16. First off, I stuck this here because it's more about the guitar itself, it's looks and whatnot, not the music it plays. But if the mods or Admins feel it should be in Culture and Multimedia, please move it. Thanks. Now, onto the guitar! [Pic is link to site.] Isn't it beautiful? I love the colouring, the rust look is spot on, and all those pipes and wires and glowing electricity... The thing that inspired me to post it here (besides the fact that some people might find it interesting) is the gears used in it look remarkably similar to Lego gears. It doesn't say they're Lego, but I have my suspicions. I suggest reading the description on the site too, it's quite interesting, with more pics and a youtube vid of the thing in action. Here's the link again. And lastly, if this is your kind of thing, you might want to check out Thunder Eagle Custom Guitar's other Steampunk creation. This one, titled the Villanizer, comes complete with it's own copper piping, lightbulbs, great rusty looks and those suspiciously Lego-looking cogs. Peace ~iamded
  17. These actually look pretty. Cool. I feel sullied now. I like the oriental looking corner roof pieces, and the flame pieces. And the weapons, helmets etc. I've heard from another review here on EB that the parts are actually good quality, as good as Lego really. I have mixed feelings. The love of cool ninja stuff in me says that I should get one of these, but the Lego purist part in me says stay away. Thanks for the review, anyway. It does look neat. ~Peace
  18. Just ignore. Accusations of you worshipping a Lego brick are just insane. If they're serious, they can't be that smart. (No offence. ) I don't openly tell everyone I love Lego (most of the time) but if they ask or see my collection I don't try to hide it. It actually turned out well, as one of my mates gave me his entire Lego collection for my birthday present. I guess he figured it was easier than $15. Anyway, if worst comes to worst, you still have us! You're not alone in your love of the brick, there are plenty of others out there. We all know Lego is not just a kid's toy. ~Peace
  19. Hinck-lay? I always thought it was Hinck-lee! This has completely changed my perception of reality! Anyway, that was a great podcast. I had fun listening to it, learning new things and what-not. I downloaded it too, so I can listen to it quickly whenever I want. Great job there, Hinckley and LAML guy! ~Peace
  20. The 7998 Heavy Hauler is massive, far too big for my liking. I love the 7733 Truck and Forklift though. That forklift is great. And you get 2 of those cool new crates in dark bley. ~Peace
  21. No problem. Oh, those decals are neat. Unfortunately, I prefer using official TLC torsos for my Castle line, but if I were to ever make a custom army I'd definately go for these. Thanks for the link! ~Peace
  22. I have a quick question regarding the change in flags. I've noticed in some sets that the flag pieces are reversed, or 'mirrored', with the wavy pattern going the opposite way. I was really just wondering if this was accidental, or if it was done on purpose by TLC to add some diversity in the flags. ~Peace
  23. If I want to keep the model intact, the sticker's go on. If I want the parts only, the stickers don't go on. Simple as that. ~Peace
  24. I love that show. It's always good for a laugh, I love the story and characters too. It's a shame that TLC didn't continue the line, but we can with some MOCs! ~Peace
  25. I don't think the Jester would get a whole court. Maybe a little dais and a few coloured 1x1 studs to act as juggling balls or something. A chunk of rock with some crystals would be neat for the Dwarf, and a cauldron with a shelf filled with potions and perhaps a book for the witch. Anyway, I guess we just have to wait, though it is fun to speculate. ~Peace
