These all looks great, and fit in well with the vehicles. Certainly an impressive arsenal you have! *y* Those miniguns look great, the technic piece makes it look more like what a minigun barrel looks like than bricks would (except for the rods in a barrel technique). *y* *y* I'll have to make me some for my post-Apoc world. *sweet* Credit will be given. One thing that's been bugging me, is I can't tell if that's green or teal. It always looks teal in those pics. Could you please clarify this? ~Peace

Venom Class Battlefield Superiority Helicopter.
iamded replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is fantastic! The missile mounts are great, the whole design is awesome! I'd like to see some of the 'other weapon modules', for example, maybe a couple of miniguns for extra ground anti-personal defence? The colour is the only thing that gets to me. The lime green just looks out of place. :-/ I assume it's a parts thing. Still, this is really cool, and I can't wait to see more. We've got land and air, how about a submarine next? ~Peace Oops, I nearly forgot the: *y* *y* *sweet* -
Vigil Class Amphibious Supply Truck
iamded replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Woohoo! More Tabletown army vehicles! :-D I think all of your vehicles are really cool, and though this may not be as cool, it's still excellent! *y* I see it's got the hull electrifiers though, they'd be a bit of a worry when in water. 8-| :-P Looking forward to seeing more, including that helicopter which I'm gonna look at right away! ~Peace -
Gingerbread House and Snowman Vignette by Sir Nadroj
iamded replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A great creation Sir Nadroj! A wonderful house and the snow man is pretty neat too! *y* *sweet* So, a gingerbread house, is the snowman made of ice-cream? 'Cause that would be the icing on the cake! Or rather the... er... Ahem. ~Peace -
I would, but I only have 1 goblet. :-( Unless... >:-) I have an idea. ~Peace

Next vig/more chores time! :-D This time Batbrick has to vacuum! Here comes Batbrick, about to start vacuuming. We made a sailboat statue, in honour of, er, someone, (Can ya guess? :-P ) but now it appears to be used for a hat rack! Dave, you better hope Hinckley doesn't see that! (Remember, Dave is the generic Hunter guy.) Dave wants to watch TV, but Batbrick claims he has to do the vacuuming. But Dave's favourite show's about to start! But if Batbrick doesn't do the cleaning, then who will? What? iamded? No! Get back to work! :-P And another angle showing the TV. Those red lights are... uh... LED's! It's a fancy TV. :-P (I couldn't find any TV bricks so I opted for a brick built one. X-D ) And the downgraded R2-D2 vacuum cleaner. Comments and criticism welcome. *sweet* ~Peace

Nice car! Looks pretty solid, although I'd only suggest replacing the fluoro yellow studs with trans-yellow, you know, the darker one. Other than that it's pretty sweet. *y* ~Peace

Dang bulls... Anywho, I have made a vignette of Batbrick and a vacuum cleaner. Sure, it's no where near as good as the one posted earlier, but hey, not all of the Hunters equipment is shiny and new! This one was made from scrap and R2-D2. :-P And I don't have any of those pipe tube things, so I had to improvise... Anywho, we'll see it shortly, I just have to find the end of the vacuum cleaner that fell off into a pile of Lego just as I was about to photograph it. |-/ ~Peace

Very nice! A fitting name, and it looks really heavily armoured too! Although I did wonder how it was a personal carrier when until SirNadroj mentioned it. X-D It's good to know the missile rack can come out. Those Rock Raiders vehicle plates sure are useful huh! :-D (Quoted straight from the pm :-P ) The pipes look cool, and yours has lights unlike mine. *y* I figured the Necrobots could see in the dark. :-P The guns are also neat utilising those technic pieces. *y* ~Peace

Who's Sebastian? Anyway, cool MOC, nice blood effects, cool little scene! *y* ~Peace

Great comic Hinckley! Thanks again! :-D It's still disappointing to know the whip isn't bendable. However, it's still a great set which I will definately be picking up! 20 bucks though... hmm... seems more like a 10 dollar set (New Zealand currency, this is ;-) ). ~Peace

Building Challenge: MOC with only 100 pieces
iamded replied to Hinckley's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think my Necrobot troop transport thingy is 100 pieces or less. I'll check later on. ~Peace -
A wonderful set! This is a definite buy for me, the legs are well articulated, it looks cool in all 3 stages, and look at all the orange! :-D :-D Great review, thanks! ~Peace

Thanks Exo-builder59! :-D steelharbinger, thanks to you too! But as for the armoured arms, I think I'll stick with the skellie ones, so it doesn't look too robotic. *sweet* And Lt. Veers, I'll take that as a compliment. :-D X-D Now, the requested pics and modifications... I've upgraded the weapon to pack more punch. Here's that pic of the gates closed you wanted, Batbrick. :-) Nothing really detailed, don't have enough spare parts for greebles. :-/ A side view, turned out darker than I expected but it gives you a general idea of the shape. And a top view, with troops and weapons in place. As an extra note, the windscreen can partially open, but is now how the driver gets in. From the top view it only opens enough for you to see the controls. Thanks for looking! ~Peace

Or when you get an admin to start the voting. ;-) I need to start building my mech! 8-| ~Peace

Thank you very much Hinckley! :'-) That new crate is wonderful! Oh, and the rest isn't bad either. :-P No, but really, this looks awesome, I can't wait for a full review, all those Indy's are great! Except for the yellow + flesh mix. >:-( Bad Hinckley! :-P That fedora is wonderful, and the bag is cool, I expected it to be soft plastic, the strap looks fragile with hard plastic... 8-| Still, it'll be great for handbags. :-D ~Peace

Oh, and don't forget to add to the index! *sweet* ~Peace

Thanks Asuka and LuxorV! Missiles, of course! I'll change the barrel, and add in missiles, and post it later. Right now I have to go to school... X-D Batbrick, the grey bit is part of the vehicle baseplate, unless I'm mistaken again. I would show you a pic of it but I don't have the time right now. ~Peace, and I'll be back later!

Thanks, and great idea Asuka! Now, how to make a Lego vacuum cleaner... >:-) :-P ~Peace

Thanks man! I actually put those white grills on the side as I originally planned it to have a lot more white, make it look more bony, but I kind of took another direction. :-P As for the barrel being too small, it's the same size as the anti-personal Necrobot's weapon, it's supposed to be more rifle like than cannon like. I keep forgetting this is post-Apoc, and I built my MOCs like I would normally. :-$ I'll get a shot of the gate up tomorrow. ~Peace

Cool mech Trexxen! And zero1312, I think the competition should have a section, or should be based not only on how good the mech is, but how much it resembles the sig-fig, seeing as that's kinda what the competition is about. ;-) ~Peace

Fantastic! Great review, thanks a bunch for all the pics, they've shown me how (in my opinion) bad this set is. :-P I just expected it to be more bricky rather than technicy. Oh well, I wasn't planning on buying it anyway. X-D I noticed you spelt mini-figs mini-fgis in the first paragraph, in case you wanted to know. X-D So again, thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them, and the comics! ~Peace

I started on a small troop transport vehicle for the Necrobots, but couldn't figure out how to add the wheels. So, I took the cheap way out and use a Rock Raiders vehicle base. :-P Still, I think it doesn't look too bad. :-/ The Intimidator can transport a small amount of Necrobot troops, as well as ram through barricades and troops, and supply support fire in combat. Mounted on the roof is a small anti-personal machine gun. The left weapon is similar to that of the Necrobot Anti-personal Infantry's rifle. A laser guide is attached to provide more accuracy. Well, actually it more just alerts the enemy that a weapon is pointing at them. But hey, the guy who made it is insane, cut him some slack. This is weapon slot is empty when the vehicle is not in use, but when a Necrobot Heavy Infantry takes control, it places it's weapon in here, granting the machine a heavy missile-like attack. The front of the Intimidator. The sight of this, along with the growling of the engine and beams of plasma blasting towards them caused the troops to nickname this the 'Intimidator'. The back of the machine. The gate offers protection to the troops inside, however the side is pretty much unarmoured. The controls. An overview of the machine with the crew. Comments and criticism welcome! ~Peace
