Kirwin steps into the room and whispers softly "Who would have thought adventure was this....creepy?" They glance at Merei. "Haven't you ever seen any type of scary media?" Kiriwn looks around again. "I bet you'll be able to get some free drinks telling the story of this ship back at the hotel!" Kirwin walks over tot he computer and investigates it.

Kirwin looks around the computer- checking for a way to copy the recordings on to a remote device or to record the messages. Kirwin says "Yikes this is definitely turning out to an adventure via attrition thing. It would be handy to know what initially affected Moran." Kirwin nods at Merei. "Yes, it looks like engineering is cut off on this side of the ship. We need to find out what happened here. Also, if we can't figure it out we may have to scuttle this ship so Hart can't take it back to a populated station. I don't want a chance of any of our new co-workers to catch something that turns their insides into goo!"

"That's all well and good BUT I think its ok for us to do our best to not become PART of the crime scene and sharing the same fate as these crew members." Kirwin picks up a small piece of non metal debris from the hallway and tosses it near the body on the table.

I'm very creative in a technical/engineering way - which allows me to put together anything if I have instructions or to troubleshoot issues in a build people at my house make a mistake. I am NOT creative artistically which I think is a big part of using pieces creatively in a MOC so have issues building a large varirty of MOCS myself. So I'm glad we have LEGO sets that do the hard work for me. Also glad creative people provide instructions for MOCS that I can build!

Great detail. I enjoy how you did all those columns. Is that a spoked wheel type piece at the top and bottom?

For larger flagship models I don't feel like this is an issue. I can't imagine many people will be spending this much on a set JUST to take it apart and sort it out for conventional use. For smaller sets I understand the issue.

Kirwin whispers "Great job team!" from behind Varen and Zaria. Kirwin also has a hacking chip in their hand and looks like they were about to also have a try at the door. Kirwin points at the body while still whispering, "This is spooky all right. This is a scene right out of a show like Terror Travel Team Unite!. I would definitely not get close to that body unless taking a precaution or three!. Zaria, can you make sure I don't get killed while walking over to the terminal over there?" Kirwin takes a look around the room while standing in the doorway near Varen and Zaria. ooc: Sorry for the delay. I got home last night and was so tired I forget to check the thread. Then got so busy at work today I also forgot to check the thread! Also yes, the media show does include the exclamation point :)

Kirwin looks around the cold, dark ship. They definitely remember times such as this on the space station. "I'm fine checking out sickbay first but then we need to head to engineering. Maybe I can do something about the lights and the cold. That would benefit us and any survivors we may find!"

Kirwin looks at the map and then looks out toward the freighter "I'm ready for the next step in this adventure!"

Kirwin says "No casualties is always a plus in my book! Anyway if we need to access the cargo - shouldn't we be told if there are any surprises in the cargo? So we need to worry about dangerous animals or materials or items if we will be messing around in there?"

I mean, maybe, but it is also true that even though their are plenty of great looking modular MOCs that you can buy the instructions for it is also true that they probably average 2x or more in cost to actual build through bricklink. Cost is always going to be a hindrance for this kind of stuff.

ooc: our shuttle started on D5 and now it is on E5. That means the space where we are searching for signals is bigger then the original grid. I guess I'm just confused since it seems the ship moved spaces and the yellow up down signal moved from a space below our shuttle to a space next to the shuttle in the last two grid pictures.
