Hello again Eurobricks members You propably have seen my Space Truck http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=94499. Building trailers I had to modify it. Previous model was too tall. I also decided to change some details. Model represents rare these days Model Team line. It has small amount of simple functions. All motorized functions can be switched to manual mode. It was very important to me because i prefer play it without Power Functions. But some people cant live without motors so this model gives You oportunitty to choose way of playing. Peterbilt 362 Basic info: - weight 1442 g - lenght 37 studs - width 20 studs (24 with mirrors) - propulsion M motor - steering M motor. Main functions: - driving and steering with or without PF - openable doors - liftable cabin - suspension on both axles - functional interior - functional fifth wheel. 1st trailer Basic info: - weight 1180 g - lenght 54 studs - width 20 studs - M motor with receiver and "trains" battery box. Main functions: - suspension - brakes system working with or without PF - supporters moving up and down working with or without PF - toolboxes. Very important thing about truck and that trailer is that both models can be connected together just using remote control- so You dont have to touch it and move anything. 2nd trailer Basic info: - weight 1206 g - lenght 54 studs - width 20 studs - no Power Function system. Main functions: - suspension - brakes system working without PF - toolboxes. Photo gallery: https://www.flickr.c...157645084422198 Movie: Building instructions Because LDD isnt so good software to create good building instructions (brick can fly in air ) i made 2 types of files for each model. The first one is model in one piece and 2nd file shows the same model divided into modules. I wasnt able to connect few bricks so You need to use Your imagination or ask me about that. One model: truck https://www.sendspace.com/file/qkynlu 1st trailer https://www.sendspace.com/file/65k16x 2nd trailer https://www.sendspace.com/file/y16not Modular build: truck https://www.sendspace.com/file/phjxge 1st trailer https://www.sendspace.com/file/d569il 2nd trailer https://www.sendspace.com/file/at6pdz Offcourse this is not over of my LEGO story...

Model Team Definition
spongebrickpl replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think that Model Team is a large scale LEGO set that looks like a real object and has functions like LEGO technic sets. Creator sets have different scale - there are large and minifugure scale sets. Mini and that blue pickup truck could be Model Team sets but Parisian Restaurant- NO WAY! -
That is a nice idea I was looking for good system to my truck and I made something simple. The fifth wheel is just keeping trailer axle in a hole. It doesnt require any motor and much space but fifth wheel will not catch the trailer like in a real world. Too connect or disconnect the trailer You just lift it up or down using motor in the trailer. I havent got better photo of my fifth wheel but here You may see something more: Here is a movie about trailer mechanism:

Thats what I was waiting for Trailer is looking quite light and battery box is almost invisible- I like it very much. And liftable axle prevents situations when Your trailer is connected with truck and wheels on first axle dont touch the ground. Is it very hard to turn when both axles are on the ground?

Technic 2H2014 Reviews
spongebrickpl replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So each set has its own date when You can post a review? -
I asked about trailer because I am building my hay flatbed trailer. I am little dissapointed because more parts than expected is needed to finish it. Now I can only wait for my next salary Happy building

MOC Sharing Dilemma
spongebrickpl replied to Cumulonimbus's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My MOC is a connection of few people idea and nobody really complains because of that. In LEGO world You do what You want the way You want so if You copy any MOC its probably modified by Your own idea. Every builder has a personality that appears in MOCs. -
Here is my LDD instruction for that truck. Model is divided to make building easier. After You get all modules You need to connect them to have the truck. I cant upload model in one piece because file is too big. In LDD there is no battery box (trains version) and I wasnt able to use small rubber for fifth wheel mechanism. Here is the truck in one piece http://www.sendspace.com/file/quxey7 Peterbilt 362 Space Truck modular.lxf

Thank all You for kind words To build it I needed around 4 years (yes, long time but it was divided in parts). At the begginning I didnt know that something like Bricklink exist. First idea in my mind was different than my Space Truck. I wanted to build longnose day cab truck with long chassis. It didnt go well because the truck was bending in the middle of the chassis. So I took a long break and started again. This time I wanted to build something small, short, light and fast. Well my Space Truck isnt so small, definitelly not light and fast and chassis is bending but I really love it. When it is standing on my desk I cant believe that I build it. It is so enjoyable to play it and colours and shape make it so simple and fresh.

Hello Finally my first adult MOC is finished. It is inspired by 2legoornot2lego. Thank You Ingmar Truck is based on Peterbilt 362 day cab. Model has its own personality because of its colour. I really like old LEGO Space sets so I decided to use similar colours to create my project. Main features: - dimensions: 37 studs long, 18 studs wide (24 with mirrors), weight 1,5 kg, - openable doors and liftable cabin, - suspension on both axles, - Ackermann geometry steering system, - You can play with or without Power Functions, - propulsion- medium motor, - steering system- medium motor with clutch gear, - functional interior, - functional fifth wheel. That truck is the first step to project that I call "Benny's spaceship transporter". I got truck so now I should build a trailer or even trailers. What colour? You can help me to choose. I am thinking of 2 ideas: 1. yellow as a main colour and blue as extra (it would be cheapest option) or 2. light bluish grey as a main and blue with yellow as extra (I don't have to much grey bricks). Please help me choose or find new better idea. More photos: https://www.flickr.c...157643795230653 Movie:

Just one truck isnt enough for You - need more and more That seems to be a LEGO Collectible Ingmar Trucks Series OK so Ingmar this is Your son Or maybe it wasnt good word- it is a younger brother of Your trucks. You inspired me to start building LEGO again and I thank You so much that You designed such great trucks

I think that chassis is the most exciting part of that truck (or even any trucks). Last photo looks like a day cab version. Everything is awesome!
