Lovely! The baseplate really works well here, and i love all the little interior touches. I never realised until i saw the new longbow in this MOC, that it really works well as a Kyudo bow. Just one thing though; how does one get from one level of the building to the next? Mind you, i guess ninjas don't need stairs! Great work - best of luck in the comp!

One of the things i love about yr MOCs is how effortlessly you create sinuous, organic-looking forms, and this one runs true to type. Your brick built flora and fauna are nothing short of jaw-dropping. Fantastic work, and best of luck in the comp!

The Atlantis exploration team and the Atlantis gaurdians have grown tired of fighting each other and decided to become partners in an eco-tourism venture instead. "The Jellyfish Cafe" is thier dive base for providing guided tours of the ancient underwater wonders of Atlantis! Ace Speedman runs the cafe with H'thjillgth the squidman, whilst Prof. Sam Rhodes runs the tours from thier custom mini-sub. Other Atlantis gaurdians provide security services, steering visitors away from hazards such as sea anenomes and the black denzien that lives underneath the cafe. The Jellyfish cafe caters for both gilled and non-gilled patrons, with a dedicated oxygen section that can be reached through the patio airlock. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy such local delicacies as sea snake sushi, fish paste croissants and Irukandji tea - it's to die for! ;) The cave underneath the cafe is home to a nameless horror nicknamed "the black denzien". But Ace and H'thjillgth don't mind thier neighbour, afterall, the denzien provides a handy way of getting rid of all the kitchen scraps. (Not to mention the odd rude customer!) The layout of the cafe is modular and is comprised of 3 levels. The ground floor is the water cafe, the airlock and the oxygen dining area. The second floor (up the stairs in the oxygen section) is the dive eqipment room and airlock to the mini-sub docking platform. The top floor is the rotunda lookout and cafe sign. A close up of the ground floor airlock. Bindi Irwin can be seen through the canopy of the oxygen dining area, enjoying a nice hot cup of jellyfish tea. The mini-sub on it's own. Wow, what an amazing entry! Amazing convertable, and such a beautiful building. I love the light up fireplace, and the add-on of the waterfall is just brilliant. So, so good!

Some interesting points of view on an interesting topic! I chose the elf, partly cause i love the fantasy castle theme and elves were definitely missing there, but also cause it's a great figure to customise. The brickforge helms, spears and blades work great with this minifig. The ony thing that remains for my elven forces is to customise a hip quiver for the archers - the back ones just look odd with the cloak imo.

Wow - what a fantastic entry! I adore the sub, i only wish the official subs looked as good as yours, i might have bought some then. The colossus is great too, (any relative of the Rhodes colossus? His ugly brother perhaps?? ) i love the bulky feet and incorporation of the Atlantis keys. The trident is a great design too. Best of luck in the contest!

That slope pattern for the opera house is absoloutly amazing! You say there was a little bit of a leap of faith between the concept and the execution, well it certainly paid off handsomly. The curves look stunning, and the lighting sets everything off perfectly. So, so impressive!

Aha, i was waiting for an update on this! Looks amazing, with a lot of thought put into the design... i love the little storyline, and the way the sections open up is magic! I wouldn't worry about the size - hey, it's still not as big as the Taj Mahal, right? I agree that the comp should be about *our* dream D2C sets, not just about making a design look super-official.

This looks great, i hope it's around the same price as the PoP Desert Ambush set here in Aus - it's one of the few sets i won't be buying online.

Well said sir. I agree wholeheartedly (apart from that last bit about the marriage - not sure about nuptial relations with the undead?? ). So much so that i succumbed today and placed my pre-order for the QAR. Can't wait! It will be June before she arrives though, hopefully enough time for my credit card to recover!

Not LEGO, but i bought some storage stuff today - a big bin for ship parts, 3 rows of tilt bins (21 in all) and a carry case for minifigs. Now i just have to get around to sorting...

Yes, i thought that might have been it. So many times when building i've gone "this will be a great idea!" and when i try to put it together it looks rubbish. Plus i'm not much chop at vehicles so i'm not much help there either! Yeah, i was thinking of yr moc when i made the original comment!

Huge! Lovely work. I certainly wouldn't want to get in the way of that monster! For the adventurer that has everything... Speaking of which, i kinda feel the lack of a bull bar and spotlights, although maybe it would wreck the feel of the car..?
