A-Wing Starfighter (Rise of the Empire-Era)
Thorpe replied to Kit Bricksto's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Your pilot minifigure is brilliant. -
What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
Thorpe replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Where can I find the individual parts numbers so I can order some of these? -
It's still an awesome battle pack too.
-
Thanks.
-
What's the deal with the Hasbro contract you mention?
-
Love those interior shots, Corran Horns x wing is a great touch.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Thorpe replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The set is from the Rebels TV series, the Stormtrooper design is based on Ralph McQuarries concept art rather than the version in the movies. The main difference is in the helmets. -
Technically her home world is that asteroid she was born on.
-
Do you have a link to the stream?
-
I'm still really hoping for a new rebel soldiers/pilots battle pack.

Differently colored A-wings (sort of based on McQuarrie concept art)
Thorpe replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Some of the concept art for season 2 of Rebels includes differently coloured A-Wings and Pilots with different coloured flight suits. Hopefully we'll see a lego version at some point later in the year. -
Isn't that Winston Zedmores face from the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set?
-
I'd love to see that but I want something other than just "white" human pilots, give us a dark skinned pilot and an alien among the pack.

Thrawn Trilogy - Heir of the Empire - Myrkr - Hyllyard City- IDSMO - R
Thorpe replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Thrawn trilogy is the best EU series there is, it's must read stuff. -
A1 toys in Braehead shopping centre have them all too, that's where I got the snowspeeder.
-
Yeah but Han hated the Falcon like that.
-
I like them a lot, I always like to see a vehicle that can carry multiple minifigures.
-
The white square on the minifigures left leg is a map, it's common for Police helicopter crew to have a map in a clear pocket on their leg so it's a very nice, authentic detail.
-
I find it strange that the they seem to be trying to achieve something that's realistic or movie accurate. To me it takes something away from the real charm of lego and kind of defeats the purpose. If I wanted a minifigure that looked just like Luke I'd buy a black series figure at Forbidden planet.

There's far too much printing on Luke's face and Owens for that matter.

I signed up just so I could heap praise on this thread. Agree about the alien pilots, some women and different skin tones would be great too.
