  1. One more comment: I think the newer you are to Lego the less it seems to bug you. My son, seven, does not even understand what I mean by "new" colors. He just sees more colors. A friend who is my age still calls the "new greys" and hates them. Just an observation.
  2. So just curious, for the guys who have large numbers, ho wmany do you have on display and how many do you have in boxes packed away?
  3. Great Review. I was unsure of this one, but seeing it so well photographed has pushed me over into the buy it column. Well Done.
  4. I like the dread very much. The choice of color and arms are very cool. The Land speeder is great as is and looks wonderfil. And as an aside to those saying what chapters are the best, you are all wrong. The best chapter of all is the Hello Kitty Maqrines....
  5. Some cool sets and some creative combinations. Good Job.
  6. The whole block is wonderful. But I just love the farmer and his wagon the best. There is just something about it that just gets to me. Thank You for giving us this chance to share your efforts and enjoy watching your progress.
  7. While I like the figure itself, the table really makes it. It looks like a mad scientist's table. Nice job.
  8. I like this. I admit, I would like to see the next moment of this scene. Sort of like a viking verson of a roller coaster.
  9. Nice work. I like many of the details you bring. Looking through the flickr listing was fun.
  10. Thanks for this review. Went out and bought this set and love it.
  11. Those would be great for a Fantasy Army or at least a squad of them.
  12. Nice set up, now you just need to get them on a single base and it would make a great MOC to keep on one's desk.
  13. They did nto have Minifigs in Lego when I was a kid. But I love them now.
  14. While I love the whole MOC, I really have to say the first picture with Jack looking through the broken wall is quite impressive. The lighting on the Anubis stature was very well done. It gave it the right levels of mystery for me. Great Job, you should be proud with how this turned out.
  15. I want to echo these three from AncientCiv's list. I would love to see some sets themed around these areas. Some wonderful subjects with rich ideas for Lego to use.
  16. Not trying to side track the thread too muc, but do we know why they keep leaving him out? Too hard to do him or something?
  17. I like this. It is a nice simple and clean MOC. Nice Job.
  18. To be honest, I do nto think thy look bad at all. I like the fact I could pick up a few and take them to my work area, then return them once I was done working. Nice picture to show how they would look.
  19. My one and only order from PAB was three and a half weeks from order to arrival here in California USA. so yes, if time is an issue than Brick Link could be a better choice.
  20. I do not really think of them as 'new' or 'old' colors but rather I tend to think of them as just different colors in my color choices. I have used all of them and will continue to do so. I am also open to receiving free bricks from anyone who feels the need to dump their "old colors"
  21. I just want to say how much I laughed at the original post. Not only because I saw myself on the list but because I could see myself following along the list in the future. So much truth in there.
  22. It is never too early to dream.
  23. Great Job with all the armor elements. Love the colors. Well Done.
  24. I think you did a great job of capturing the look and feel of your subject. The fort "feels" right to me. Great Job!
  25. Very nice MOC. I like all the details you added into the scene. So much character and action. Well Done.
